Lite Notes deserves an updated review. They still have great food and super fast service. I stopped by during breakfast and their hash brown breakfast sandwich was yummy! It was also clear that many of the customers were regulars and came in quite frequently. It's still 5 stars and worth stopping.

Mix feeling so I'm just going to give something in the middle. Service was ok, prefer cash, coffee wasn't great compared to the price. Their coffee tastes like $1 coffee that delivery guy always gets in the morning.

This has become one of our go-to breakfast spots as the food is always outstanding, the people who work here are lovely, and the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I would argue that their bacon hashwich on a brioche bun is the best breakfast sandwich in Greenpoint/Williamsburg but you really can't go wrong with any of their breakfast options. I'm also 99% sure they get their bagels from Bagel Point across the street which makes amazing bagels but terrible breakfast sandwiches so this is a win/win.

I had to cover a very far office in the Greenpoint area in the early morning all the way from South Brooklyn. I got there quite a bit early and was hungry and stopped by this unassuming joint. I looked at the menu and ordered their signature bacon hashwich on a brioche bun, on the cute little board. I got two, since it sounded like a breakfast sandwich that won't fill me up. Cost me $20. I waited maybe 10 minutes? Sweetest people in there!! I got myself freshly squeezed orange juice too. They also take Apple Pay so it was easy. The sandwiches were huge and I eat quite a lot for breakfast regularly. It was so good, that I dreamt of it for a good month before deciding to make it at home on my own. I don't think I can compare yet, but the eggs were so velvety, bun was PERFECT, the hash brown addition was actually genius lol & the avocados were just the cherry on top. I wish I lived closer to this place, just so I can order it every morning. 9999999/10 would eat again!!!

Onion sandwich that was supposed to be a Tuna sandwich

CROOKS! I ordered a $4.50 iced tea that barely fits a half glass . Most of it was ice , the nerve to charge people for ice and a drop of (disgusting ) dirty water they call iced tea. Also orders their tuna sandwich that was more red onion than anything. No wonder their business is going down the drain .

My favorite dish here is probably the mussels, great flavor and would probably go well with a glass of wine! The first time I came I tried a cocktail which was very good but because the dishes are very flavorful it might have been too much sugar/salt. The portions here are huge as well so I think for the price its very worth it. It's a cute restaurant as well with open kitchen so great for a date if you're sitting at the bar or if you have a group the tables are pretty big as well. Overall, it's pretty spread out inside which I really appreciate and I have found that it's pretty easy to get a reservation last minute. I'm already looking forward to going again in the coming weeks!

This place was the winner, and it was everyone's first time. We got in at our reserved time, and we had to wait about 5 minutes before our table was ready. Once it was, we were taken care of and quite frankly had no idea what treat we were in for! Let's start with the drinks. They have a drink on the menu called Celadon City. Who won the staff as a pokémaniac?! I had to get it just for the name. The rice vodka, yuzu, melon liqueur, and other flavors made it a fantastic, summery drink. My friends got the Smooth Landing & Smooth Talker ... One was a fantastic dirty martini and the other had the best bite of ginger. The food... Oh my God. We decided to split the breads and spreads and burrata... Each came with their housemade grilled focaccia, and the smoked paprika hummus and ricotta with chili honey? WHEW! The burrata dish with the sweet potato, pesto and tomato jam was a hit too. The menu didn't even say I'd have a balsamic drizzle on top! All of that was just the warm up... My gnocchi dish was spectacular. I'm not even a big mushroom person, but those oyster mushrooms and charred kale were a hit in the pasta. My friends' gigli pasta and mussels were great too. We ended up sharing a bottle of white wine as well, and the dinner was truly a 5/5. 0 I would absolutely go back, and it seems like their menu changes every now and then. I'm looking forward to the next time! Even if it's just for a cocktail.

The ceviche was probably the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was blood orange based, but the citrus was really well balanced. The king oyster mushroom dish was soo delicious. The sauce and the texture of the mushrooms were to die for. I've salivating thinking about them right now! The fish was also so amazing. The bottoms were so crispy, it was almost like it was a layer of potato chip! Really great texture, and the fish meat was cooked to perfection. It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!

We started with two perfect oysters which had ikura, ramps, Thai chili oil and coriander flowers. Then sugar snap peas cooked perfectly with a hint of sesame - oil some special kind. Then we moved on to the seafood risotto which was the most toothsome risotto made with Japanese rice - seafood broth - and a mound of fresh red shrimp, razor clams, scallops hint of chili and a bit of mint. Perfection The charred white asparagus with sable fish with Shiro miso and green garlic was a complete surprise - delicious. Another superstar was the soft egg sitting in a sea of blue crab meat - in a brown butter garam salt bath. Served with a crusty baguette that we used to lap up all the amazingly tasty sauce. Unique - unsurpassed in flavor. We ending the savory courses with a lovely steelhead trout surrounded by thinly sliced fresh asparagus and fava beans with this basil and almond.
