Turkish coffee and Baklava!

My husband and I discovered this amazing little Mediterranean restaurant and market today! We loved it! The food is authentic, homemade, and delicious! We had the shawarma chicken and shawarma beef plates with Mediterranean rice and a gyro with chips!! Every bite was tender and perfectly seasoned! The owner treated us to a sample of pistachio baklava which melted in my mouth and Turkish coffee which we really enjoyed! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

My first time eating here since the restaurant changed owners. Wow, so different now, and the food was very good. The restaurant was clean and inviting with Mediterranean style music in the background. The owners were very welcoming and assisted with choices from the menu. The option for a salad versus chips with my Kafta sandwich was appreciated. My husband had the Chicken Tawook plate. The chicken was tender and tasty. He also opted for the salad instead of rice for his plate. In the back of the restaurant is a small area with spices, oils and foods for sale. We will definitely visit again for lunch in the future. I want to try their soups. We are also going to recommend this restaurant to a friend who will find many vegetarian options there.

Excellent service and fresh, tasty mediterranean specialties! We dined inside on an afternoon, and these hit the spot. We are from overseas, so we've been on the hunt for equivalent cuisine over here in Lubbock! Very fresh, filling and simple. Highly recommend for a nice and healthy lunch!

This place is so good! The gyros are so good! If you're in Lubbock and looking for some good Mediterranean food, this is the place for you! The owners are so sweet and service is awesome! The food quality is amazing. They have parking on either side of the building. Service is fast too!

I was visiting Lubbock for the first time and came across this gem!! WOW! Who knew you could find food like this in Lubbock?? I LOVE Greek food and this is a very unique restaurant. I tried the gyro oregano pizza. It was so delicious and different. I also had the hummus, tabouli and a few pastries. The man at the counter explained each one and waited patiently for me to make my deciison. The next time I am in town, this will be my first stop.

My new favorite's place! I would come here to eat everyday if I could!! The food is delicious and the staff are all super friendly! Make a point to stop by if you can and get some yummy food!!

The food here was absolutely delicious!!! The owners were so kind and I will absolutely come back! I was surprised it was pretty empty even though the food was delicious I genuinely inhaled all my food.

Looks to be family owned and operated! Unique spot for Lubbock, Texas. I wish I had more experience with Mediterranean food, so that I could give an accurate review! I ordered the hummus which was heavy on garlic and oil, but I enjoyed it! We also got the Dr. Paxton's RX with turkey! Looks and tastes like fresh ingredients! Really enjoyed trying this spot!

ALWAYS so good, quick, and the sweetest service. The kind gentleman who recognized us all has retired (As of Dec2021) but the new owners are kind, restructuring a bit, and just as fast. Change isn't always welcome especially with a favorite, but they seem keen on keeping the same standards.

MotoMedi Mediterranean - All of the flavors added to this falafel dish was a delight!

MotoMedi Mediterranean

Anyone giving Moto Med less than 5 stars is either hypercritical, a competitor that is trying to…read morethrow shade, or an ornery individual. Good quality, healthy food in a friendly atmosphere and at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for in a quick repast?

Moto Medi is everything I want in a fast-casual spot: fresh, flavorful, customizable, and genuinely…read morehealthy--without sacrificing taste. Let's start with the food, because wow. Some of the best falafel I've had, hands down--crispy on the outside, soft and herby on the inside. The dips are outstanding (you can tell they're made with care), and I loved the roasted veggies: cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes... all perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Add in the pickled veggies for that tangy punch and suddenly you've built a bowl that feels both indulgent and nourishing. One of my favorite little details? The "salt and pepper" shakers aren't actually salt and pepper--they're filled with spices like sumac and other Middle Eastern seasonings. Such a thoughtful touch, and it completely elevates the meal. You're seasoning with flavor, not just salt. Moto Medi is also incredibly vegan-friendly, which I truly appreciate. Everything is clearly customizable, easy to navigate, and makes eating plant-based feel exciting instead of limiting. The organic tea bar is another big win--clean, refreshing options that pair perfectly with the food. This is the kind of place that instantly becomes a regular spot. Fast, fresh, satisfying, and aligned with a health-forward lifestyle. I honestly wish Moto Medi was everywhere, because it's proof that "fast food" can still be intentional, delicious, and good for you. Love, love, love. If you're craving Mediterranean flavors with a modern, healthy twist--this place is a must.

La Diosa Cellars - Mediterranean Salad and shrimp with bacon and jalapeños with melty cheese

La Diosa Cellars

Wowza - what an experience !…read more La Diosa is one of those places that immediately pulls you out of whatever mood you walked in with and drops you somewhere entirely different--in the best way. From the moment you step inside, it feels less like a restaurant and more like an old-world café, wine cellar, art gallery, and lounge all layered into one eclectic, soulful space. The interior is stunning and thoughtfully chaotic in a way that works: exposed beams, hanging lanterns and star lights, rich colors, Frida-inspired art, mismatched tables, velvet chairs, communal seating, tucked-away corners, and rooms that feel like they were meant for lingering conversations. Every turn gives you something new to look at, whether it's a massive art installation overhead, a wall of wine, or a cozy lounge setup that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Food-wise, tapas and paella are the stars here. This is the kind of menu that encourages sharing, ordering a few things, sipping wine, and letting the night unfold. The chalkboard sign lets you know what they're proud of--and it shows. Pair that with their wine selection and you're set. There's also live music on certain nights, which fits the space perfectly. After a certain hour it shifts into a 21+ vibe, and it truly feels like the place comes alive in the evening--dim lighting, music, conversation, and that intimate, almost transportive energy. La Diosa isn't rushed, flashy, or trying to be trendy. It's warm, artistic, and unapologetically itself. Come here when you want an experience, not just a meal. It's ideal for a date night, a long catch-up with friends, or anyone who appreciates atmosphere just as much as what's on the table.

Service was absolutely fabulous--attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged. Food came out…read morequickly, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is eclectic and interesting. Now to the food and beverage side. The menu offers wine only, which isn't ideal, but I understand that's a choice every owner has to make. The meatballs were clearly pre-made and then reheated in the Marsala sauce. They were overly salty, and the sauce itself lacked balance it leaned heavily acidic, almost vinegary, without the richness you'd expect. The "Barcelona" pizza was solid, but again, shortcuts were noticeable. The crust was clearly pre-made. I appreciated the heat, but overall the flavor profile was fairly flat.Best thing I had was freshly baked bread it was fresh and tasty. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food execution didn't quite live up to it.
