Our server never checked on us we had to find another server to let them know. She also never returned so we could not get refills on our drinks. She returned to offer us cheese but after 3 of the 4 of us had finished our meals. However, we had reservations and arrived early and they were able to seat us in a comfortable corner where we got to enjoy our conversation. Again, our past experiences have been positive and so we will not let one bad evening stop us from returning.

We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. I went with the chocolate peanut butter cup and the dark chocolate, the two really complimenting each other very well. After hearing the backstory of the family that started the business, I would definitely put Cimmino alongside some of the gelato that I tried in Italy. Staff was friendly and while the space is unassuming, it was a perfectly fine place to hang out until venturing out into the desert heat. So why four stars instead of five? I stopped by on a week day after an event in the area for a late night treat. Ambiance (3.5/5): Like most ice cream shops, Pazzo is a pretty small establishment. There's seating for about eight people or so inside. Something to keep in mind as if you're visiting at a peak time, you may have to eat outside, in your car, or standing up. Though it's tiny, it's well-kept and comfortable. Service (4/5): While service isn't a big part of the experience, it went pretty well. When we arrived, nobody was working the front, but he came from the back after a minute or two. I imagine he was waiting gelato. Like pretty much any ice cream shop, they will let you sample flavors. From there, I paid quickly. Drinks (N/A): I only ordered ice cream, but they have coffee, water, and a few soft drinks. Food (4/5): You know the drill. Choose your size. Cone or a cup. To make things more interesting, you can even get gelato sandwiched between two cookies. I was tempted, but opted for a medium gelato in a cup which allowed me to choose two flavors. At gelato shops, I look for interesting flavors. They have that here with a nice mix of creamy gelatos and fruity sorbets.
