I used to have a friend who took me here for a Halloween party that pulsed high to the rhythm of fun. Yesterday, I went here again, not knowing I was going back to the Halloween stomping grounds I once monster mashed in. This visit was more fun as I felt like I had partied in a club nestled in the after-life word that Coco invited us to imagine because I attended El Velorio, here. El Velorio is a celebration of Mexican culture, specifically the art and step of Dia De Los Muertos. I arrived 30 minutes early, to Quiet Cannon (where club Lit sits) and paid 20 dollars for parking. Once I entered, the club space was dead. There were a few people here and there, I bought the tickets, but did not really understood what I signed up for. I am the type of person who sees something advertise gets tickets and then sees how the night will go. I am open to opportunity and engage with chance when it comes. A bit after the 7 the show began. The opening number was a dance by Aztec dancers, scored by a beating drum. The dancers were in full custom, feathers and all. Later in the evening, as I danced, I felt a caress on my neck that felt strange, not good nor bad. It felt like a tickle and slither, like a playful snake stretching on my neck to find its comfort spot. I turned and it was a black feather from a Calavera custom. My mind was arrested when I saw these performers dance. It was beautiful in a quiet way. I wanted to know what the dance called for? Saying that there dance called for rain would be reductive, but, I had no other thoughts to conclude. I hope that their dance called for something good that every person in Lit could carry for a better tomorrow. After the Aztec dancers came an all girl Mariachi group. I did not get their names, I mean no disrespect, there was simply a lot going on. I am not a Mariachi fan, but this Mariachi group was innovative, not only because they were an all female ensemble but because they sang melodies I could recognize. Forever, I will carry the memory of an all female Mariachi group singing 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun' on a night where a party grooved to Mexican Culture, which now is also part of American Culture. One of the staff members of club lit supported the group by placing a microphone near the instrument of the musicians. Now the melody of the cello, could be heard better. It was a moment that made the night more magical because it was a human to human moment scored by classical notes. After the Mariachi I viewed a small gallery of art. It had some standout pieces but on the whole the art gallery was a good attempt. There was this picture (that I clipped and can be found in the picture section) of young girl with flowing hair, the color of different shades of water. The moon was full and high above her. Her eyes were light blue, her dress translucent and light gray that was somehow also blue and also somehow the wind of the night wrapping her. The title of the piece was unfinished return. I felt like I saw the Llorona healed. Like she was no longer a spirit of pain, longing for her lost children. She was a spirit of rebirth that offered waters to wash pain away. So her lament turned into splashes of redemption. See her eyes and know the woe you carry become part of water, in its different forms, and for a moment know a pause from pain. One of my favorite parts, of course, was La Catrinas. The women in Calavera paint, with hoop dressed that are full of theatrical flowers, and other macabre details that in sum make the woman look like she got a full makeover for her day of death. My favorite Catrina was the one that was dressed in a wedding dress that was in full black, with details, like a headpiece that showcased a studded skull. Her makeup was on point, it almost made me forget that I was looking at a human dressed appropriately for spectacle. I zoomed in on her makeup, when she was not looking, and, in my opinion, the resulting picture looks like a portrait. I view it and I feel a small chill, not because I am an artist but because I helped immortalize her efforts that spoke of hours of intricate makeup work. After all the visual experiences, I began to danced. I felt great joy jiving to a nearly full dance floor full of people some dressed as Catrinas. At one point, the song 'Oye Mi Amor' blasted. And a Catrina in full garb and makeup danced on the stage, leading us in movement. We were not dong Zumba, but still we sweated, laughed and groove to the rhythm of Latin flavor. I could not help feel alive, and fully in the moment, which can be a a treasure for many who spend too much time in their heads. This place offers substantial bump and grid, and spectacle. I would definitely return to this place, especially when it is associated to a theme night. read more

Club Lit is Lit! I've been to Quiet Cannon before for celebrations in the banquet rooms and never knew there was a night club here too. A friend of mine had a birthday party here and we had the place to ourselves. The venue is nice - two stories. There's a dance floor, a bar, and private seating areas for bottle service. There was a buffet with food and a pizza station. The food and cocktails were good, and the DJ was fantastic. read more

At least on the Saturday I went (Nov 22 2025) the club was NOT at all open. When going through the gate to the country club area, we asked the gate attendant where Lit LA was and we were told it would be our first right. Lo and behold, the entire place has no lights on and no one there as of 11PM at night. I think it would be fair to expect a club to be open on a Saturday night. Disappointed that the gate attendant didn't tell us it was closed for the night and we wasted our time going up and seeing it was no longer open. read more

We kept hearing their NYE party being advertised on the radio so my husband and I got a table with our friends to bring in the new year. $440 for a bottle of absolute and champagne wasn't bad for 5 people. We get to the club and even though we had bottle service we had to wait to get our IDs checked and go through security with general admission. Wait- what? Strike 1. Ive NEVER had to wait in line if we purchased bottle service. Not in Vegas, LA, OC... like that was just insane to me. After waiting in line in the cold with no heaters anywhere we finally get in and we show the booth that we had bought a bottle. Literally the guy tells my husband to go find someone to help him. Points to the bar inside the club and expects him to find someone to help him. WTFFFFF? Like, yoooo we just paid for this already and you're going to treat us like that? I had to waive down a security guard to walk us to the front and help us find someone to help us. Finally he got this woman to help us. I think she noticed I was pissed and told me that she was going to take care of us. Well no S--. Finally they seat us. A decent spot by the dance floor. Right next to a speaker. First off, i want to say that I don't go out often to clubs, but this one was highly talked about, and I decided to go with my bf and his friends. We went the week of dj mustard. It surpassed my expectations, and more. I would like to give a shout out to our girl who gave 5 star service, Dani. She was very persistent on checking on us, and making drinks. I have been to nice clubs, and the girls won't pour drinks; but stand around and "look pretty". Not the case at this club. Interior: upstairs the venue is very open and nice. This club will try to defraud you, they charge a 20% fee on top of your bottle service this is not a tip it's a fee. I spoke with the manager asked for him to produce any evidence that they made me aware of this charge and he could not. They can not legally charge us that fee unless we are made aware of it. Two guys came in paid $1000 per bottle waitresses wanted to kick my group out because they wanted the whole section with the guys who paid. They stuck around hard after the guys paid! Came here last night and had to leave a review on the people working there last night. For starters, my friends promoter Erick ultimately sucked saying he's got us on bottle service and entrance fee but of course when we arrived: no bottles and here's the second part to it we get to the line for guest list and the security is rude as hell saying "2 could get in for free and the other one has to pay" so of course I was pissed I wasn't going to drop $20 just to go into a club that's not even LIT like they claim when I'm on a guest list. As if the night couldn't get worse Erick continues to say don't worry the bottles will come soon. Its 2AM and no bottles ever arrived so my friends and I decided to just buy our own drinks and call it a night. Also the dance floor is only used for the VIP tables. And I was shoved by a security on the way walking in with no apologies said. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER GUYS. Oh Dear.... The club is nice, HOWEVER, there was a Security Guard who was Extremely RUDE. We were waiting in the crowd for G-Eazy to go on and this security guard with dreads & glasses (see photo) was walking along the side of the crowd between the crowd and VIP booths on the floor. He was FORCING HIS BODY PUSHING BACK the standing crowd, MIND YOU no ONE was on the ropes of the VIP areas but he would go out of his way to PUSH BACK against the crowd. He did this more than once, even the girls that were in the vip booth looked at me like what is he doing pushing you guys??? On top of this he came through another time and ELBOWED ME on the HEAD (That's a LAWSUIT) and kept FORCING HIS BODY pushing back squishing all the people along the edge towards the crowd. I, along with others, was smothering people to my left and they were getting mad and I kept apologizing (as others were too) saying I'm sorry he's pushing all of us, all while I was getting smothered by this big guy. Your a SECURITY guard for the SAFETY and SECURITY of the people, not to hurt them! And for more unprofessionalism we saw him taking a shot ON THE JOB from the VIP booth! HOW THE HELL is it okay for you to do that when you are supposed to be ALERT and in all your senses to ensure a SAFE AND SECURE environment to be drinking?? I have a business myself and would NEVER EVER allow my employees to treat crowd audience members like this, nor to consume alcohol when the safety of my customers is in that persons hands??? The venue was nice, G-Eazy performance was short, and also the wi-fi was not working (which G-eazy himself complained about) since he wanted to play a new track for the crowd. The only reason why I'm giving it a 2 Star is because of the two security guards, Mel & Raymond. The club looks very nice and luxurious but here are the problems: 1) we were given a different table from I was told I was getting by the promoter Oscar not a big deal but not a great impression. 2) I had asked the promoter twice about the price for the table, 1 ciroc bottle & free champagne for a total of $360 flat. Once at the table, the girl tells me "I don't know why the promoter told you it was $360 flat when it's actually $360 for the table alone and $200 for the circo bottle so you're total will actually be $560" I showed her the messages I had with the promoter and then she tells me that this confusion happens a lot...really?! They "accommodated" for the miscommunication and just charged me $390 when this was not my issue but between the promoter and table service people. Bad first impression when it comes to miscommunication and feels like a scam if this tends to happen often. 3) I was going to the restroom with my friend and this security lady who was really rude escorted me outside?! She allowed us to go to the restroom one at a time, why?! Raymond was nice enough to let me wait inside the entrance instead of outside and even offered me his coat. 4) Music was great but when they keep playing the same songs over and over, it get pretty lame. This place is nice! The wait outside was not long, they got us check in and to our bottle service area pretty quick. Nice amount of space and very clean bottle service area. I wanted to update my review and rate about this place due to such a bad experience we had. Long story short, I came back with a group of friends that wanted to check the venue on a Saturday night. We arrived to the location at 10pm since guest list closed at 10:30pm. However there was a long line since they had Rick Ross performing that night and we were not aware about it. But the staff was purposely stalling the guest list line from moving quick so that they could have more people pay an entrance fee. We made it to the front at 10:35 and of course they charged us $20 even though we had been on the line since 10pm. I got referred to a guy named Oscar to explain him the situation since he is the promoter in charge of the guest list and this guy is a "douchebag" telling me to leave if we didn't want to pay.
