I believe this place is a cool little hidden gem. It seemed like a lot of locals go to this bar perhaps it has been there for a while and that is why it has lots of character...(but it's now under new management) Decor was unique, definitely a bar where people are friendly and nice! My friends and I probably tasted all the cocktails and I have to say they were all delicious. They had live music on Sat, and let me tell you, I didn't expect it to be so good! My husband and I came here on a morrissey karaoke night. It was definitely a cool vibe with cool people who were very into morrissey. I think almost everyone there sang. It's pretty small and the bar is crafty. They didn't have menus available and from what I could see behind the bar there was only agave, tequila and beer. But I could be wrong! I tried one of the morrissey inspired drinks (Mozgarita) and it was tasty. There wasn't much parking but we got lucky and found a spot around the corner. The owner, Ane, seemed like a very cool guy. Tiny , cozy bar, went to their comedy night . I am sorry but the comics that had lived in LA for 4 months. So their material was not good. I think there was only 3 jokes I laughed about. But it was brutal They need to live in LA for a couple of years in order to get acquainted with LA crowds. And worst of all they were in East LA so nothing to share or say. This bar is a hidden gem . The service is amazing! The owner is so cool and welcoming even offering a quick bite of chapulines as a spicy treat to go with your drink. They don't use all the sugary stuff in the drinks so they are TOP TIER!! The energy in the bar is like sitting with a friend for a drink and catching up. Ane the bar owner / bartender is a whole vibe! First time here and first thing he does is offer me a shot once I hit the bar! He also served housemade chapulines. First time trying crickets.. a little nervous.. but it was tasty! This is an agave / tequila bar. I had two delicious margs on the rocks and it was phenomenal. Ane makes his own home made fruit puree/juice and does not use syrups. My man had his micheladas and it was also yummy. The atmosphere is awesome! This little hole in the wall, dive bar is the best I have been to in ages. I don't tend to go to a lot of bars, but they had a singer that night I wanted to see. We got in the car and drove to LA Bufadora bar. The place was clean and the bathrooms were useable. The place has a lot of locals and they are all nice. The service is great. They have the largest Mexican beer selection I have ever seen and they make these very fancy drinks--and this is just a small bar. It was all great, it was all fun. The entertainment from the locals was better than the singer we wanted to see. She about burst my ear drums. Parking is really easy on the street. They have a pool table and that was a great time. They had this great food truck outside and you can take your food in. It was a magical night of no worries and super people. read more
