Loved the atmosphere here! This is the first place we at after arriving in NC! It was a great first meal to have and might have been our best pick of the day! The pizza came out hot and fresh, not taking too long. The flavor of the pulled pork on the barbecue was interesting but definitely good! It was our first time vacationing on Hatteras and we tried many local spots and Lisa's Pizzeria was such a great ending to our week long stay! I mean, one of the best takeout pizza's I've ever had. This is the pizza I look for when I'm at home, and I haven't found it. The margarita pizza was perfect. Great amount of each ingredient. Not overly salty and the crust was crispy, but dense and soft. We got 3 pizzas and each had a generous amount of toppings. Even the fries and chicken fingers had a great flavor to it. Hoping to stay in Hatteras again next year and will absolutely stop by again. This is the best pizza I have eaten in a long time!! One of the personal pizzas was not correct and they sent me a new one asap. We ordered the bbq and the buffalo pizzas as part of our order, best bbq and buffalo pizza I have ever eaten hands down. I will never eat any other pizza when we visit. read more

Our first night in town we stopped at Lisa's Pizzeria for dinner. We got there around 5 pm and the place was basically empty. It's a super cute place, kind of a beach shack meets pizzeria vibe. We were seated immediately and ordered a house salad, the island Chicken Pizza, and my husband ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. The salad came out right away and the veggies were super fresh and crisp and I absolutely loved their house made ranch. The pizzas came out soon after and I was impressed. I have no idea what kind of crust they use, but it was a perfect balance between crispy and chewy and I liked the flavor. The toppings were delicious and the bbq sauce tied it all together nicely. I tried a bite of the buffalo chicken pizza, and really liked that one as well, but for me I think it needed a bit more of the buffalo sauce. Carry out a few pizzas. Was easy enough to call ahead and order. Pretty thin style pizza, hard almost too crisp bottom. Got the loaded supreme style. This was the closest pizza place to us in Avon, OBX. We got the four cheese and buffalo chicken pizzas plus chicken tenders and fried mushrooms. The buffalo chicken pie was good, the rest not so much. The cheese on the four cheese was still whole and not cheesy enough. Tenders were dry and fried mushrooms were bland. We picked up a pizza from here over Memorial Day weekend 2020 and again this past week when we were staying in Rodanthe. Both times the food was quite good, fresh, appropriate amounts of toppings and ready when they said it would be. I'm a New Yorker, so I'm a little bit of a pizza snob, but this is pretty good for a southern pie in a beach town. We ordered a traditional cheese and another with veggies. We picked up from here due to covid times, so didn't dine in. I really liked that they had a pickup window outside (like you'd find at an ice cream stand), it was nice to not have to go indoors. I don't want to be critical, but I always give honest reviews. The pizza was terrible. i don't believe the shell was hand tossed. Being in the pizza business for years, I know a premade frozen shell when I taste one. very little uninspired sauce, and very little toppings! Visited Lisa's because Yelp said to, she was literally less than 500 feet of where I was camping, and the smell of the cook, in the night air. Lunch personal pan pizzas were delicious! They were topped as asked. We received a text, when it was ready for pickup. It was hot and fresh! Dough was good. I like extra sauce. Needed a little more sauce for moisture during the cook. This place was a disgrace and the lack of customer service was appalling. We ordered 3 pizzas and it took over 2.5 + hours of waiting. We sat in the restaurant face to face with the staff while they gave us inaccurate updates. This place has some serious issues. When asked about the status of the order, we were told the ovens were "broken" and there was a delay. It would have been nice to have an initial heads up. Honesty is the best policy. We would have made alternate plans. Apparently the oven was broken the day before yet they happily accepted orders that they could not handle. When asked to speak with the manager, the rudeness was the most disappointing. Don't waste your time people, get your pizzas from the grocery store or make them yourself, it'll be faster! read more

Thank you Lisa's pizza! Checking into a beach house unpacking and getting settled in is tough and the last thing you want to do is to have to cook. So thankful for Lisa's and the entire staff for taking such good care of so many beach families who all had the same idea today. They were swamped and packed and busting at the seams but you could tell that people cared and the food was good and we enjoyed our meal in our house. We had the fried mushrooms the barbecue pizza and the margarita pizza and it was plenty for everyone to enjoy. We had heard good things prior to coming to Rodanthe and I can see why everyone loves Lisa's. Note to those you're out of town have patience we are all doing more with less and they will do everything they can to serve you. Insider tip if the phone line is busy just drive over and order. read more

We were so happy that Lisa's delivered after a long day in the road. This place came highly recommended by someone on the island, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! I loved that the cheese went all the way to the edge of the crust and they were so generous with the toppings. The hot wings were a mild spice and very flavorful. We called in a large order an hour before closing and they accepted it without hesitation. We had 5 large specialty pizzas and 4 large salads. All of the food was fresh and perfectly prepared. On Saturday it is takeout only in the evening and it was busy. The food was decent. We got Pizza and cheese bread and it was good. Lisa's pizza has been a staple in my family for the decades we've been vacationing on Rodanthe. The pizza is good enough for what it is and their other menu items are fairly good if you aren't in the mood for pizza. Chicken parm is a decent portion. Their Caesar salad is fresh with rich green lettuce and an excellent Caesar dressing. It is a small location with long wait times, whether eating in or taking out so factor that into your planning. They do have a small bar with a few beers on tap to hang at while waiting for your meal. read more

The interior was a little confusing, but after ordering at the counter and paying, we found our way to a room with booths and tables and after a few minutes, our order was brought to our table. The location was convenient, being a short walk from where we were staying. I would definitely eat here again.
