Called this place in the middle of the afternoon (around 3) thinking that they might have a 45 minute to an hour wait for pick up. Reading some of the other reviews people commented about the amount of time they had to wait to pick up their order after calling it in. We didn't have an issue, walked right in got our order within thirty minutes. The place was busy, lots of customers at 3:30 on a Saturday. The island chicken pizza was amazing! It was the perfect balance of flavors and ingredients ... amount of cheese and chicken were good (that's hard to mess up) the perfect amount of bbq sauce that was not overpowering, the thinly sliced red onion added a slight sharpness, the pineapple bits added sweetness without being super juicy and making it a sloppy mess. As my family and I enjoyed, we realized we should have ordered two island chicken pizzas! It's a shame we discovered this spot the day before we are leaving for home because we definitely would have ordered island chicken pizza more than once. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza, basket of fries and beer battered onion rings. All delicious and what you would expect from a pizza place. Glad we checked out this spot! read more

Steer clear. You are better off at the Dollar General getting DiGiorno frozen pizzas. The pizza tasted like Domino's and the prices were absurd for the quality which was lacking. The Chicken Caesar salad was good, but that was that. You can't tell the difference between an extra cheese pizza and a normal pizza. The cheese fries with bacon were cold, not very cheesy and not very good. Mozzarella sticks were subpar and the sauce smelled like it had clam chowder in it!! Very stingy on the sauce. The pizza is extremely dry and there are bubbles on some of it without sauce and little cheese. This was the Buffalo pizza and there were sections of just bubbles and no sauce or cheese very little chicken if any. read more

It was our first time vacationing on Hatteras and we tried many local spots and Lisa's Pizzeria was such a great ending to our week long stay! I mean, one of the best takeout pizza's I've ever had. This is the pizza I look for when I'm at home, and I haven't found it. The margarita pizza was perfect. Great amount of each ingredient. Not overly salty and the crust was crispy, but dense and soft. We got 3 pizzas and each had a generous amount of toppings. Even the fries and chicken fingers had a great flavor to it. Hoping to stay in Hatteras again next year and will absolutely stop by again. This is the best pizza I have eaten in a long time!! One of the personal pizzas was not correct and they sent me a new one asap. Our first night in town we stopped at Lisa's Pizzeria for dinner. We got there around 5 pm and the place was basically empty. It's a super cute place, kind of a beach shack meets pizzeria vibe. We were seated immediately and ordered a house salad, the island Chicken Pizza, and my husband ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. The salad came out right away and the veggies were super fresh and crisp and I absolutely loved their house made ranch. The pizzas came out soon after and I was impressed. I have no idea what kind of crust they use, but it was a perfect balance between crispy and chewy and I liked the flavor. The toppings were delicious and the bbq sauce tied it all together nicely. I tried a bite of the buffalo chicken pizza, and really liked that one as well, but for me I think it needed a bit more of the buffalo sauce. Both times the food was quite good, fresh, appropriate amounts of toppings and ready when they said it would be. I'm a New Yorker, so I'm a little bit of a pizza snob, but this is pretty good for a southern pie in a beach town. We ordered a traditional cheese and another with veggies. We picked up from here due to covid times, so didn't dine in. I really liked that they had a pickup window outside (like you'd find at an ice cream stand), it was nice to not have to go indoors. We sat in the restaurant face to face with the staff while they gave us inaccurate updates. This place has some serious issues. When asked about the status of the order, we were told the ovens were "broken" and there was a delay. It would have been nice to have an initial heads up. Honesty is the best policy. We would have made alternate plans. Apparently the oven was broken the day before yet they happily accepted orders that they could not handle. When asked to speak with the manager, the rudeness was the most disappointing. Don't waste your time people, get your pizzas from the grocery store or make them yourself, it'll be faster! read more

Thank you Lisa's pizza! Checking into a beach house unpacking and getting settled in is tough and the last thing you want to do is to have to cook. So thankful for Lisa's and the entire staff for taking such good care of so many beach families who all had the same idea today. They were swamped and packed and busting at the seams but you could tell that people cared and the food was good and we enjoyed our meal in our house. We had the fried mushrooms the barbecue pizza and the margarita pizza and it was plenty for everyone to enjoy. We had heard good things prior to coming to Rodanthe and I can see why everyone loves Lisa's. Note to those you're out of town have patience we are all doing more with less and they will do everything they can to serve you. We called in a large order an hour before closing and they accepted it without hesitation. We had 5 large specialty pizzas and 4 large salads. All of the food was fresh and perfectly prepared.
