On the boardwalk at Old Orchard Beach. Ordered a slice of Lisa's Favorite which was good but not great, $7.15. Whole pie was like $37. It was warm not hot. It looks like it's been there forever and you pay tourists trap prices for it. read more

Lisa's Pizza - Lisa's pizza on the OOB boardwalk - Pizza Near Me - Old Orchard Beach, Maine

As a kid I always looked forward to coming to Old Orchard Beach and getting a slice of pizza from Lisa's Pizza on Old Orchard St, and for the first time in like 24 years I got to do that again. I'm currently in New Hampshire visiting my parents so we decided to take a day and check out some of our favourite places in Maine while visiting. The weather was pretty rough and rainy when we hit Old Orchard Beach but I was still super excited to get Lisa's Pizza again. We endured some rainfall to walk to the Lisa's window line. I kept it simple and classic and ordered a big slice of cheese pizza that came out super soggy and pretty hot. Now look, as a grown adult I totally understand that beach pizza isn't exactly one of the best types this country has to offer, but this tasted like an XL slice from the 711 pizza cooker and I have almost nothing else to say about it. Was it awful, I guess not, but it was also a pretty big letdown to hat my wife has been making fun of me for since we went there. Overall, Lisa's Pizza is an Old Orchard Beach classic and boardwalk pizza that exists for a reason. Will I be back? Eh, hard to say. But I might have to try Bill's for the fun of it next time. read more

First time in OOB. We tried all the food at all the places. We made it point to try every pizza place. The fried dough here was very good. The pizza was not that great. It was our least favorite in OOB. read more

I wouldn't say it's the greatest pizza ever, but for 5 bucks, it's a pretty cheap option especially for Old Orchard.

Fried Dough - 5 Stars - it wasn't dripping in grease and it was crispy and chewy - loved it!! The pizza slices were perfectly assembled with the right balance of toppings - I just wished they were heated more - it was lukewarm at best. - 3 stars The fries - 5 starts - YUM loved them so much, didn't use ketchup, which I normally do. It just enjoyed the tender, hot and delicious fries. The service was prompt - 4 stars. It's more nostalgia for us. We visit once a year after the crowds have thinned out. read more

This was not good, I was excited to try it and it tasted as bad as gas station pizza. It was greasy, had no flavor and just was overall bad. It was pricey too. The only saving grace is the dough boys are decent but those aren't too hard to mess up. read more

The fried clams are a big disappointment. Store bought frozen and reheated on-site. They looked like fried earthworms with no resemblance to a real fried clam. When I tried one, it tasted worse than it looks. Please stop cutting corners and costs and offer the real thing or take them off the menu. read more

Lisa's Pizza is still great! Had my first slice there in a while, but still as good as it was back when I first visited in 1987. The dough is still fresh, pizza is thick and filling. A little different that thin crust, but very good read more

Lisa's Pizza is located right by Orchard Beach and my family and I decided to order Fried Dough. We ordered one with powdered sugar and another one with sauce. The dough was fluffy in the inside and crunchy on the outside. The powered Fried Dough was good and my family I ate the whole thing. As for the one with the sauce, the sauce was bland and it had no love put into it. You also can order toppings such as Nutella, Strawberries, Oreo's, and other assorted toppings but the toppings are five dollars apiece. read more

The onion rings are big battered & not thin sliced & crunchy as a great onion ring should be. The fries look identical to pier fries across the street. I did not try the pizza. A big fat NO to the onion rings. The service was attentive and solid 5 for service with a smile. read more

Ordered a large meat lovers got large veggie very different and disappointing if you wanted meat. Safe to say no one wanted it

So many pizzas so little time!! I was visiting Maine and checkin stuff out when I came across a few pizza joint right next to each other. Well, Lisa's pizza was pretty good. I like pizza, a lot. So I can almost handle anything. Lisa's has a little bit thicker crust than the other two guys. Still a good tasting pizza but Lisa came in 3rd in my lick of the 3 pizza joints I tried. I'll be back again. read more

frozen pizza, paper plates instead of a to go boxes, not pleasant employees. would suggest dominos down the road whole medium pizza is 7.99

There's New York style and Chicago Style. Lisa's i would classify more as Digiorno style. Not bad, but over priced for the quality.

Yeah. Still not great at all. Ordered in the off-season this past week and the pizza was very "naked." Very little sauce, very little cheese (it was a cheese pizza!). The fries were cooked well, but jeez... the prices. Sorry, this iconic place in OOB has just gone so far downhill. I've been going here for 40 years and it was ALWAYS "the" place to grab pizza and fries (well, next to Pier Fries)... and it's just not the same. SO far out of the range price-wise for what you get. I'm bummed. Really, really bummed. I guess they just don't think they have to do better. read more

I saw the reviews on this location after I had ordered. I had walked by this place and saw the fries coming over the counter and knew I wanted to try it so ended up skipping looking at the reviews first. I'm glad I did because I may not have went based on the reviews. So I got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a medium fry. The fry was hot with a crisp outside and nice and fluffy inside. You can add salt or most other condiments you want. You will just need to ask them for the ketchup. The pizza was hot and tasty as well. It's definitely not a wonderful NY pizza taste but it's still good pizza. We would definitely go back. The service was quick and everyone was very nice. read more

We ordered a full pizza on a cold, cloudy Monday evening. They were not busy. The pizza was undercooked. Areas on the bottom were doughy and the cheese barely melted. I needed to finish cooking in my oven but it didnt turn out great. If you go, make sure the pizza is cooked to your liking before walking away. read more

A very thick fluffy crust (like a biscuit) with zero crisp or crunch to it. Very light on the sauce but no seasoning or garlic to it. Also light on the cheese. For me the #1 need for a pizza, needs to have a crisp or crunchy crust. It reminds me of elementary school lunch pizza. read more

I have to say Lisa's pizza are great! However, I ordered a small cup of onion rings. Just the thing I needed to keep me up all night.I received seven onion rings in a dish cup and I paid over eight dollars for it! That's over one dollar per onion ring! The rings were over battered and full of grease, the worst, battered onion rings, I ever ate. Highway robbery, and I'm not even a tourist. Never again! read more

I'm sad to only give 2 stars. I've been coming to Lisa's since I was a kid. I don't know if they've lowered the quality to make up for the lost profits due to COVID-19, or if this is the new normal. The pizza was the only saving grace here. The single slices are warmed back up when you order so they have that nice crispness to them that pizza gets when it's reheated in the oven. The crust is delicious. Even my daughter who usually leave it behind ate it. This is probably the only thing I'll eat here moving forward. I didn't bother ordering fries because I saw what came out of the kitchen before I got to the counter. They looked undercooked and underwhelming. The Mountain Dew I got didn't taste right. I don't know if it needed to be hanged out or what. The fried dough was my biggest disappointment. Take a good look at my pictures. Do you see the yellow on the powder? Do you know what that means? They had the audacity to try to substitute margarine for the real butter that every piece of fried dough deserves. My kids ate it because they don't know any better but I took one bite and I still can't get the gross taste out of my mouth. Maybe other people wouldn't notice, but I did before I even ate it. You can't cut corners to save money on everything. This is one of them. C'mon Lisa's, you can do better than this. Yuck! read more

Went to Lisa's today like many times in past. Today was very different not sure if will return . Crust was a lot thinner than normally in past . Was way too much sauce, burnt cheese . This is the WORST Pizza I have ever had. & I love pizza and have eaten it it all over the USA & World. This is horrible pizza. Flavorless, doughy, cold pizza. It's been a long year since I could get back up here, what a disappointment!

We stopped at Lisa's Pizza this past Friday afternoon after spending most of the day at Old Orchard Beach with our dogs. It was chilly out and we were really hungry, this happened to be the only place open so we got some quick food. I was hoping for Pizza - hence the name but the only had a few fried options, so I went with the tenders since that was a safe bet and my husband got the Friend Haddock which he said was ok. I guess for fried food it was good - but wished we were able to get a pizza. =) read more

Perhaps it's just personal preference. However, the crust is not to our liking. It's thick and soggy. The pizza overall is greasy and bland. We ordered a slice for a taste test and I wouldn't even call it mediocre although it is slightly better than Bill's. I can get a better tasting pizza from the freezer section at the supermarket. This is one star pizza and that's being kind. If you're looking for pizza on the boardwalk, the only pizza worth eating is Rocco's. read more

I love Lisa's Pizza the best. Hot gooey beach pizza. Then right next door is the fried dough...yummm. Sit on the benchs or walk over to the center concrete tables. But if you sit there watch out for the seagulls cuz they WILL attack you as you take a bite. If you are not careful they will rip it right out of your mouth...no joking! read more

A southern Maine tradition. Is the pizza the BEST? No, but def acceptable for a walk around slice. The fries are the star of this place tho. If the day comes where all they sell are these french fries and nothing else, they will stay in business a long time. Thick crinkle cut french fries perfectly crisp and tender soft on the inside. They offer salt and vinegar and ketchup. The truth there's almost nothing these fries require, but you have a couple options for how to customize them. Apparently they also added protein recently which means you can order a side of brown gravy by itself if you prefer dipping your fries and gravy. I've had them that way, as well as poutine at other places, it's tasty. Going down to the pier in Old Orchard Beach and getting some of these fries is a yearly expectation and obligation for southern manners. 1 wellworth continuing. I've been doing it since I was 3 and now that I have kids, they are learning how amazing they are as well. read more

Costco Pizza by the Slice! Seriously, years ago this was the go to place for a slice of pizza, made onsite! What a huge disappointment! We haven't been in this area for about 9 years and my healthy eater of a son insisted we get unhealthy slices of pie. I know Costco pizza well and they must being just baking these instead, pies are no longer made on site. Costco is $1.50 per slice, Lisa's is $3-4 per slice! Subway is next door, a better deal and at least the quality is much better. I bought Subway for my dad, he was the smart one! Old Orchard has always been a tourist trap, but really, bate and switch with Costco? I am sure the original owner's are kicking themselves they sold the business with their good name! And did I mention customer service, oh that's right, they need to have some to even talk about it! Not at all like we remembered it! Crappy slices of pie to go with the service. Not that Costco pizza is bad, but it is fresher and better at Costco and I don't have to fly across the country to get it! read more

I used to love getting my Lisa's fix when in OOB but it seems things have really changed since my last visit. My husband and I each grabbed a slice of cheese pizza and a cheese fry... The pizza was over cooked, not the old New York style I remember getting years ago. I just threw a bunch of Parmesan cheese on it and called it a day knowing my late night options were limited. When we ordered the cheese fry the guy told us it's a "bacon cheese fry" we asked for no bacon and he told us it couldn't be made that way? We waited an additional 5-8min after getting our pizza for the fries and they were trash. Honestly just terrible. Crinkle style fries that tasted like a baked potato, no crunch or flavor. They were mashed into a small foil pan that was too small, covered in shredded cheese which is always an annoyance of mine. Can we all agree no one wants shredded cheese on their fries? Give me that liquid processed cheese that I can dip into please! The amount of bacon bits on the top was gross. And I'm not sure why they just could have skipped them when we asked if they were just going to be piled on top. We had a couple bites but ultimately found and gave them to someone up the street who needed a meal I went back to grab my fried dough, always a must have for me and after paying for extra butter it was dry. When my husband tried to mention it the guy told us to move aside for customers getting their food. So overall the food has taken a dive, and while I understand this is an order out establishment, but if a customer has an issue with the food that has been served to them it's the responsibility of the employees to address that. We'll be trying one of the other pizza/fry places next time in hopes of finding our new spot read more

It was rainy today, but that did NOT matter ! The pizza was HOT and YUMMY !! Ive read the reveiws,, hey it's NOT NY here, it's MAINE. It's not a fancy pizza, but it IS YUMMY !! YES you do order things from different windows. It's quicker this way because they fry the fried dough in one fryer, they fry the other stuff on the other side and the pizza they do in the middle. It may not "make sense" for it, but that's how over the years it's developed. OOB is a tourist area, so in the summer (if it's a good summer, some aren't ) they do well $$ wise. They are open during the year (YEAH ! Nothing like getting pizza and onion rings and walking the beach in a blizzard ! If you've not done this and can, it's such a cool experience you'll remember it for LIFE ! I am glad they stay year after year. As for the toppings and cheese not being as some want,,, again it's MAINE and NOT NY. I've been to NY and Ohhh YES it IS good and I DID enjoy it, but it's Maine. TY Lisa's for ALWAYS being here year after year and for being open YEAR ROUND. I don't go often since I am careful of how many calories I take in, but ohhh when I do,, I am THERE ! read more

What started as a fun night roaming the many pop up shops, and fun activities near the old orchard beach turned into a memorable experience. Unfortunately, not in a good way. We ended up going to Lisa's pizza, and where do I start the underwhelming pizza or terrible service. Being unfamiliar with the area we asked, "if we could do a small pizza." The gentlemen who answered way the definition of bad service, giving a glare with a sly remark, "read the sign." We apologized and order but not with the terrible attitude. The food wasn't great either. Pizza was cold, and was very unappetizing. My three children didn't even try it say it was gross. I took a bite and wasn't surprised. It was cold, and tasted like cheese on the verge of expectation. If you are seeing this I don't recommend. Bills pizza was our choice the next night, and was a much better experience. Lisa's Pizza - Picture of the shop - Pizza Near Me - Old Orchard Beach, Maine

It's pitiful. The pizza is pre-made somewhere...we ordered a large pie, and they brought one out if the cooler preassembled and baked it. Crappy crust, watery chemical tasting sauce that makes frozen pizza seem deluxe. The fries are worse. We ordered poutine, and the potatoes were undercooked, and mealy. They MICROWAVED it to melt the curds. Awful read more

I remember this place being incredible several years ago so it's possible I had a fluke experience this time around. Cash only :( Pizza was very dry but somehow without being overcooked? My girlfriend said that it was on par with 7 Eleven pizza and I kinda agree. I got a cheese pizza and the cheese was very minimal which was also disappointing. I asked for a cup of water and they refused to give me one only trying to sell me bottled water? Also the price for a medium cheese pizza was pretty high, even considering their prime location. Again, perhaps this is a fluke pizza/ experience because I remember going there years ago and loving the doughy pizza a lot. read more

Simply put, the French fries with salt and white vinegar are the best on the planet.

I frequent Lisa's pizza quite a bit. I usually get a slice and fries. I've never been disappointed !! I like the kind of pizza they serve...It's affordable too. The only thing I don't like is...It's cash only..... That goes for most pizza places in OOB and that's why I'm deducting a star....There's are times go elsewhere to eat because they take credit cards. If you ever visit OOB and like pizza, fries and doughboys...Stop by Lisa's and give it a chance. And bring cash. ;) read more
