As I've moved up to Aroostook County, Maine, ive had some of the worst pizza ive ever had up there so on a recent trip back from CT, I searched out "New Haven style pizza in Maine" and "Fire & Ice Maine popped up so I tried it today! The service and people working there could not be nicer and when they knew I was from Connecticut, we really got into the nuances of what makes it great. I actually met the owner on my way out and he could not be nicer, telling me all of the places he's been to and worked at in the New Haven pizza area of Wooster Street. So I got in my car and opened up the box and was pleasantly surprised to finally see a pizza even look like New Haven. After biting into it, it was addicting! No flop, an "8" on the undercarriage and cooked right on top! The sauce was very close and it was crispy too! The only thing off and this is REALLY being picky was the chewiness but again, this is really being picky! Overall, a 4.8 on a 5 star scale and THEE BEST NEW HAVEN APIZZA is. MAINE to date! I would drive 2 hours to get this pie! Great service, great pizza and the price was reasonable too!

It's my favorite by far, but they have so many great and delicious dishes to choose from. This is a family owned business and a very nice family. The service has always been great and the atmosphere here can be anything you would want. It can be a casual night out with friends, or a romantic date night, to a celebration! We love the open kitchen and to see them cook and the open fired oven cooking pizza. The bread and salad to start out a meal is always tasty and I love their salad. It's simple, with their house dressing and it's cold! I love very cold salad. Delicious bread and butter, then whatever your entree is. If, and I mean if, you have room after your meal, ask about their desserts. They bring a tray out of what they have and two things I may order is their Tiramisu or, if they have any left, the Lemon Cake.... it's soooo delicious. Great, now I need to go back and start with dessert first ;)!! If you're ever in Windham, Maine, stop by Rose's, you'll be glad you did and you'll be well fed!

Our server is a long time pro. 26 years! She knows everything there is to know about that menu, and is as professional as you'll ever see anywhere. We really liked the warm atmosphere. It's very family, can't duplicate that with decoration, it has to be there, grown through love and care. We met the owner Claudia, and she was as nice as can be. A really concerned and caring individual. We'll be back. It's a great place to bring your family & friends anytime.

Very different from Greek, New York and New Haven style pizza. Deliciously different from what we usually get in Portland. We ordered online but ate in the restaurant. The service was very good, friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Margarita pie and the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pie. My husband is a pizza snob and he LOVED the broccoli rabe pie. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly with generous amounts of cheese. The margarita pie had just the right amount of basil. But the star of the show for us was the sausage/broccoli pie! We had never had broccoli rabe on a pie before. The broccoli rabe was tender, well seasoned, and had a floral note to it, the crust was chewy with just the right amount of char and the sauce added just the right acidity. The only thing we felt was lacking (slightly) was the sausage. It was so mild that you almost couldn't taste it. It was cooked well and no gristle at all - just lacking that sausage flavor that you expect when you order sausage on your pizza. Regardless we would and WILL order it again. We will definitely be back and strongly recommend Coletti's if you are in the area. If Coletti's is looking to expand - please come to Portland!

We order one large pizza, one child's small pizza, one small lobster roll, one Reuben, and an antipasto salad. Drinks: two beers, two virgin marys, two child's Pepsis, and a ginger ale. Our order came out in one hour and ten minutes. Seventy minutes. As much as I could, I saw the kitchen as the problem. The waitresses hustled; they were on a dead run. But their duties were split; one seated new parties and waited table as well. Another, ours, admitted she had been pulled into the kitchen to assist in plating. As well, the kitchen must deal with takeout orders, which on a Saturday, are many. So the blame must be the management. The only solution should be to stay away- vote with our feet- go elsewhere, until management feels the loss of income and corrects the situation. When the word is out, that Pat's decides on the family restaurant model and not a beer hall, we will return. And not before.

Thankfully I had looked on Yelp recently and saw the mentions of cash only here so we could grab some before going. We called ahead for a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and the worker said it'd be around 20 minutes. Which wasn't bad considering it was dinner time on Saturday. We waited a bit once we arrived but total time from call was around 25 minutes so no complaints. Staff seemed hard to work keeping up with orders and almost all the people who walked in knew one or more people on the staff. So it gave me a sense they have a large constant following and bring people back. Small space inside with space for eating in if you want it fresh out the oven. Also your first step into the door you are greeted with the wonderful smells of pizzas being made. Once we got home we enjoyed our pizza, my wife said it was nostalgic and reminds her of the takeout pizzas she had growing up. I also enjoyed it and would gladly order more pizzas from here again. Overall if possible I would give this place a 4.25 or 4.5 star rating cause it was not quite a 5 but also a little better than 4. They have run a successful business the way they do for so long, so they clearly know what they are doing. I think it would be beneficial to have a website or even just some social media for a menu and presence in general. Also I think cash only is a bit outdated at this point and accepting cards would attract more customers. With countless places you can get pizza I do believe this is a spot worthy of giving a try!
