Wilmington Health has "Lisa" listed as "Elizabeth" in their system. When my insurance changed, I could not find Elizabeth McDowell listed to select as my primary care physician and Carrie Emory was selected at the time of my enrollment, instead. After my two first regrettable visits with Carrie Emory (the worst care that I have received from any medical professional) and another change in my insurance, I stumbled upon the discrepancy in Elizabeth/Lisa's name searching for a physician in the WH Network, yet again. When I attempted to schedule an appointment with "Lisa", I was told by the call center, (7 weeks after my initial request, while patiently pending a return call from her office) that she did not wish to reestablish care and that I should have received a letter in the mail. I received no communication.
While I sincerely appreciate "Lisa's" initial Investment in my health (she was the first to show any true interest in caring for my apparent health issues), I am troubled by the lack of continued care and respect for my health that she has demonstrated, more recently. I blame this, in part on the Wilmington Health Network, as an organization, but I am also incredibly disappointed by the lack of communication on her part, as well. read more
