She spoke down to me and their Billing person was defensive of the person that was initially rude. All of this happened bc I have Medicare and my surgery is deemed Medically Necessary. They want you to sign a waiver bc "Just bc Medicare authorizes it, doesn't mean they will pay!!" What?!! Sounds so fishy and this is THE only place that has said this to me. To put it bluntly, sounds as if you need a medically necessary surgery, you will end up footing a bill after the fact! Medicare only allows them to charge a certain amount. So, it sounds like they don't want to use Insurance. I explained over and over that I will have no problem being approved. (I've been approved in the past, but had to hold off, which I explained ) Still not friendly. I was more than willing to also pay out of pocket for a tummy tuck, lipo and thigh lift. Even if I had to do it in another visit bc some places won't combine insurance with out of pocket. I guess they assume I can't afford it bc I'm on Medicare right now. I was a Paralegal for years. I've saved plenty of money, so why pay for a medically, necessary surgery? I can't imagine going into this office after having a huge surgery, with the way I was treated on the phone just asking how things work at that office (billing wise). GO elsewhere! I was excited to see a FEMALE doctor for this! No thanks. Don't advertise you take insurance if you don't want to be bound by insurance prices!!! Ps- attitude is a reflection of leadership!! Remember this when dealing with people that the doctor employs!

I was very nervous about the surgery initially, however, the team made me feel comfortable and it went great. The recovery time was really quick and I had no lasting side effects or concerns. I feel more confident than I did before the surgery, and I've had nothing but positive feedback and surprised reactions from people when I tell them I've had them done. They look very natural but also sit perfectly so they don't have that "fake" look about them. I highly recommend Dr. Boll.

Mommy Makeover My…read moreexperience with Dr. Wilson was beyond amazing. I traveled to Arizona from California just to go to Dr. Wilson, and I'm 9 days post-op writing this. When I decided I wanted a full mommy makeover I was a little overwhelmed and afraid that I would not be able to handle both procedures at the same time. I read blog after blog from women who had this done and to be honest with you, it scared the crap out of me. When the procedure was over and I was taken home I went straight into a recliner. I was up with some help after 4 hours walking to the bathroom with guidance, but I was walking there and not in a lot of pain at all. I figured it was all the pain meds and when they wore off I would be definitely in a lot of pain. Nope. I got up every 4 hours walked to the restroom and went a sat back down. I was still waiting for the horrible pain to happen. Don't get me wrong I had discomfort but I did also have major surgery. Day 2 I was talking with my family members on the phone, did a lot of reading and napping but was still fine. I could now get out of the chair on my own and could walk to the bathroom by myself and didn't need any help. Yup day 2. Discomfort but nothing that I was expecting has happened. One pain pill every 4 hours did the trick. I was sitting up in the chair eating soup, jello or even pudding. Day 3-5 was just watching a lot of TV, napping in a recliner and resting. I could do everything by my self. I emptied my drains and all, Day 6 I went to my Appointment with Dr. Wilson, I had no trouble getting in and out of the car and walking to his office. Day 7-9 I pretty much can do it all by myself, the pain I expected never happened. Once again, the difference between discomfort and pain is a big difference. I believe the gentle hand and the experience Dr. Wilson brings to the table makes a big difference. I would and will recommend a mommy makeover to all my friends. - Denise

The experience of setting up a breast lift and implants has been horrible... It started from…read morecalling to get consultation and asking questions the staff made me feel like I was bothersome or asked to many questions..I let that slide.. ( maybe she was not patient that day). Set up consultation, attended it, and seemed like it went well, asked for the quote before leaving and they said they will call me,.. okay...I received a phone call later that evening and she ramled off the numbers to me verbally, I was unable to right them down at the time as I was driving. I kindly asked for the information to be emailed to me. She said she cant do that and it will have to be sent to me in the mail. Okay.. Now after getting all the money together from the quote.. cash mind you...I needed to set up appt.. In order to set up appointment for surgery, they must receive 500.00 cash in person or 500.00 cashiers check sent via mail... So, my thoughts are Im going to send you 500 dollars and dont know if I can even get the date I NEED for surgery.. to align with my home/work/life balance and time off work with recovery time frame.. I needed a specific date.. nope they couldnt guarantee it or tell me if I could choose that date until they had my 500.00.. and thet wont take the pmt over the phone, no cc, no debit cards, nothing. So I had to leave work early to get a cashiers check from bank before the bank closed since they are opened from 930-5 and I work 830-5. I had to send them the money as soon as possible so that I could HOPEFULLY get a specific date that im requesting.... oh and let me add, while talking to them Nov 29th, they dont even have the anesthesiologist schedules to see when they will be available for dates in Jan... surgery cant even be scheduled if they had my 500 in hand.... Meanwhile they need clearance from my PCP to proceed with surgery, but my PCP is asking for a clearance letter to be sent to them explaining what is required or needed and I get told by Kathy at Dr. Wilsons office they dont do that, they dont have nothing to send out but will try and call them... ?? Advised them on multiple conversations they have made this whole process stressful and caused so much anxiety, that what if I am not cleared or what if I cant do surgery because heart rate or blood pressure goes up (white coat syndrome) due to nervousness or whatever the case may be on the day of surgery..... She says it will be a fee of 88% of your fee since its 72 hours or less..... so basically I will lose 15k out of pocket cash if for some reason I cannot proceed with surgery. Well ever since I heard that, everytime I think of it ,my heart starts pounding.. I cannot phathom losing that much money if my body decided to get nervous or something on surgery day...they have not been comforting during this entire "ELECTIVE SURGERY" process...So I will not be going through with this surgery and I will not be going back to this place period because of how I was treated by the staff. They need to learn patience and consideration on how they speak to people that have never done an elective surgery before and willing to pay thousands cash to have the procedure done. They dont need to make people feel like a burden and possibly enhance their protocol and procedure on how to collect the money from someone to make a smoother transaction..THIS IS SOMETHING I HAVE WANTED TO DO FOR 2 YEARS SINCE LOSING OVER 100 LBS ON MY OWN AND SAVED CASH TO DO IT, IT HAS NOW BECOME A STRESSFUL DISASTER I FAIL TO COMPLETE.

I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. When i met with him for my consultation, I was honest & told him I was concerned about the negative reviews. I saw him today as a consultation for silicone breast explant surgery (en bloc). My silicone implants are making me sick (Breast Implant Illness). I am allergic to them & my allergist recommends they are removed. I was straight to the point with Dr. Farnworth. I explained that due to my rare conditions & complicated history I request a referral to a surgeon outside of the VA who has experience with explants. Dr. Farnworth is very direct & to the point. He may come off as abrasive because of that, but I communicate in a similar manner. He agreed to make a detailed referral to request that the VA send me to an outside surgeon. If the VA doesn't approve, Dr. Farnworth will do the explant. I thanked him for being kind & for the referral. I was impressed that he was willing to make a referral to another surgeon. Most VA Physicians make it difficult to get a referral outside of the VA. I was relieved that Dr. Farnworth didn't match the negative reviews here! Overall, it was a great appointment.
