For months, we struggled to get prescriptions sent to the correct pharmacy. We spoke with multiple staff members, yet information was never properly relayed, and the same issues kept happening over and over again. We also spent months trying to get a prior authorization completed. On several occasions, we were told it had been submitted, but we later confirmed it had not been sent at all. This level of mismanagement is unacceptable, especially when patients are relying on timely treatment. Attempts to escalate the situation were equally frustrating. We left multiple voicemails for management requesting a call back to resolve these ongoing issues, and not once did anyone return our calls. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was often dismissive and disrespectful, which only added to an already stressful situation. Ultimately, we sought care elsewhere. Our new dermatologist processed the prior authorization the same day, and we had the prescription in hand within two days. This clearly shows the issue was not with our insurance--it was with the lack of care, organization, and accountability at this office. The most upsetting part of all is that the patient is a child who has been in pain and discomfort throughout this entire process--frequently crying and asking why his "boo boos" still hurt. No family should have to go through this due to preventable administrative failures. If you are looking for prompt, compassionate, and competent care--especially for your child--I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.
