I sliced The tip of my right middle finger off at 6 p.m. using a mandolin I got for Christmas. After returning from the urgent care center I sent an Internet email to Dr. Yospur's office from his website and to my surprise he personally called me not long after receiving the email to let me know he could squeeze me in the next day for an office visit. At the office visit he said it looked pretty bad and I would need surgery, so we set up surgery for the next day and it went fantastic. A week later I went in to get the hand brace off and got a small splint on now and I couldn't be happier. Up to this point everybody and everything went so smoothly, I've had a great experience. Based on my on my interactions so far, I will be using Dr. Yosper for anything that he does related to his practice. And I also can highly recommend him to my family and friends without any hesitation! read more

We have been seeing Dr. Yospur for the last several weeks as a result of an unfortunate accident involving my hubby's finger. We spent an evening in the ER and they said we needed to be seen by a hand specialist. Who knew there was such a thing...I certainly did not! So the next day I went on the search for such and am ever so thankful that we found Dr. Yospur and his entire team. They got us in the very day that I called and have just been great ever since! Reconstructive surgery was required and all has gone so well. We never feel rushed when in the office or made to feel bad for the host of questions that we have. Pre and post surgery instructions were clear, including financial expectations based on our insurance. I really can't say enough good things. I came to Dr. Yospur 2 days after fracturing my finger. He got me in for surgery two days later. He did an amazing job, my finger was fractured in two places. The thing I like about his office is the knowledge and the people. He's so friendly and tells you exactly like it is. He is so knowledgeable and you can tell he takes pride in his job, which is a huge plus when having to deal with this sudden injury that I got! His secretary (Carrie) is so amazing. She's friendly, works with your schedule, kind and helpful. His PT (Emmel) is amazing too! He's knowledgeable, helpful, very friendly and fun to be around. I met Dr. Yospur for a ganglion cyst on my wrist. I liked him from the moment I met him. He was smart and caring. He took time to look at my wrist and explain things. I met him twice before the surgery and both times he was the same way. Plus, he made the visits relaxing by a little chit chat about traveling and my cat. His great manner continued on the day of surgery. He came in to see me before the surgery and quickly put me at ease. The surgery went well and follow up appointments and recovery are top notch. He took time to explain the surgery - even showed me photos (which I asked to see). I would certainly return to Dr. Yospur when needed and will recommend him to others that need his services. Dr . Yo spur does amazing work. I had my implants removed with a lift. He took his time finding out exactly what I was looking for. 3 weeks out they look so good I am so very happy. Friendly, responsive, and professional staff. When I fractured my finger, Dr. Yospur scheduled a surgery the very next day after my visit. The situation and options were explained clearly. The team was incredibly responsive when the pharmacy had some mix up and did not fulfill my post surgery medication, and resolved the issue in a matter of hours. When I had to transfer to another doctor, the team showed willingness to assist with disability statement, even though I was technically no longer a patient of Dr. Yospur's, while I was in limbo of waiting to be scheduled with a new doctor. The receptionist Kerry was almost always available during business hours, and always helpful. The PA Emmel was respectful, competent, and professional. read more

In addition to being a board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Yospur had a fellowship in hand surgery. My dermatologist recommended him to remove a cyst under my fingernail that was causing a deformity in my nail. I had my last post op visit today. My fingernail is back to normal!! Minimal to no scaring. I am so pleased. Not only is he skilled, but he is also fun. His office is pleasantly relaxing, and is so efficiently run. I loved my time with Dr. Yospur. Initially I felt like he had terrible bedside manner and was perhaps overbooked and overly professional,but on my 2nd-4th appts I came to find out that he's quite personable while still maintaining a very respectable professionalism. Luckily for me I didn't need surgery for my hand but I would go back to him in a heartbeat because he was great. I loved the front office staff. This is a 10 stars practice. Dr. Yospur and his team are honestly one of the best. This is the second time they show how they really care about their patients and do everything they can to accommodate and treat me in a timely manner. Today, I had an emergency with my finger and he was in surgery and was not supposed to come back to the office. His assistant listened to me and was compassionate to call him and ask for an exception. He drove back to the office after his surgery just to perform the procedure on my finger. Dear Yelpers, I'm giving them any "stars" at all because they had me completely fooled up until my surgery. As The previous Yelper stated, I was referred by an urgent care facility I went into for a hand injury. I too was impressed with how quickly the office was able to expedite my surgery. She had it scheduled before I even met with Dr. Yospur. Two weeks after the surgery I started a new job that I am really excited about, but the hours were 8am-5pm - same as Dr. Yospur's office. I was training for the new job in Glendale and live in Scottsdale. Getting to the appointments was anything but smooth. When I would arrive late I would get snide comments. When I left a voicemail, my call was never returned. When I came in after hours of sitting. In traffic Carrie spoke about the money I owed the office in front of other patients, which utterly blew my mind. Prior to that, I had a weekday off from my previous employer and was at my appointment on time and still had to wait 30min without so much as an apology. The 2nd to last time I came in late from a car accident and the 1st thing Laura says, "What do we have to do to get you here on time?" After that I told Carrie that me coming in wasn't working out, and she said I HAD to see the doctor at least 90 days after surgery. That I HAVE to do therapy. I NEED to leave work to be here on time, "Dr. Yospur has kids" Carrie told me. I thought to myself, "aren't I paying you?", without patients (no matter the schedule) you don't have a job to provide for said kids. I take full responsibility for being late and mixing up my post op appointments. My priorities have been work and school. However it is completely unacceptable to treat people who are the reason you have a job, with disrespect. Today when I went in, I told Dr. Yospur directly that I wanted to see a Doctor closer to my home or work since I don't want to be there more than they don't want me there. Miraculously, I was discharged. They are so inundated with patients so they don't care if they lose one, you're just a dollar sign to them . My experience with Dr. Yospur's office opened my eyes to how backwards the healthcare system is and how greedy talented Doctors can be. I will say, despite it all Dr. Yospur is a talented surgeon. I have seen Dr Yospur approximately two years ago for a thumb injury and had to have surgery. I had an appointment the same day I called and Dr Yospur was wonderful. He took all the time I needed and scheduled surgery within a couple of days. Then about two months ago I injured the same hand but in the wrist area just behind the thumb. I suffered for two months with the pain figuring it would get better over time. I went to Urgent care to get it xrayed and it was not broken. I called Dr Yospur's office and his receptionist, Carrie, was able to get me an appointment the very next day. Carrie was there when I had the first injury. Both times, Carrie was fantastic. She's friendly and helpful and has an awesome personality. That's not something you get in every doctors office. I just retired from that position myself so I know what to expect. She was just wonderful. Dr Yospur took care of my new injury with an injection and it has now been three weeks and there is no more pain. I would highly recommend Dr Yospur to anyone that needs his expertise in his field. As far as the star rating, there are not enough stars to rate this great doctor and his staff!!!! read more
