I followed my sistah Lina's recommendation and asked for Amy. The lady said yes she's Amy. I wondered, had I asked for Savannah would she be Savannah too? No worries because all their quickly scanned reviews seemed to sing wonderful praises. Nail polish selection is a bit poor. Explanation: While there are quite a few bottles to choose from, the colors were very similar, many of the polish itself seemed old and thick and the brands were unfamiliar brands. No worries. I'll choose one I like that's not old or use mine that I always have with me. Amy actually took care of the little toe peeves I have and usually have to ask the techs to take care of without any prompting. I was indeed surprised and pleased. She knows her stuff. My gorsh! Ms. Amy (or whatever her name is) cleaned my ever so untidy nails to the high-nail-godz! I actually take pretty decent care of my feet so I didn't need a scrub or any extras but I was a bit disappointed I didn't because I could have had this lady touching my feet a wee bit longer, she was so good. She got every iota of dirt and excess cuticle out. I actually turned my massage chair off because her touch was so much better. Her scrub was divine and never did she miss any part of my feet. **sighs** She even wiped the flip-flops I wore before putting them back on my feet. **Double sighs** The salon is small and neat. Very quiet with a telly in the background. The clientele is nice and descent too. This is unusual for Fulton Street. Ask a friend that lives down on these parts. Hahahaha. I love my people. BTW, No Smoking No Eating and No Drinking. Also, no use of corn planner blades. I guess Any likes me as much as I adore her because she gave me her personal number to contact her for my future visits. Well my dear Watson, I do believe I've found a new "nail home". Best pedicure I've ever received. I wasn't able to get the woman's name because I was in a rush but she was so patient, sweet and very detailed. The price was a little less than I thought it would be because of how great the service was. The chair had a great massage setting and I was able to be seated immediately. On a tight schedule, I visited this nail salon to be in close proximity to my hairstylist to complete my look in preparation for a company outing the next day. It has been a rare experience for me to be taken care of by a male nail technician. No complaints! I wanted a manicure and pedicure. I prefer Essie, but there were very few options and a lot of similar colors by different brands. Once I chose my color and took a seat, he initiated the massaging feature of the chair as he began working on my feet. He was very polite and attentive, making sure his work was flawless. The television was tuned towards the local news. Despite the large space, there are only two drying stations - adjacent to the eyebrow station. Nice, quiet atmosphere. It is very clean in here even the bathroom. They listen to what you want and give you exactly that. During the weekend, it can get very crowded in here. I've been going here for about 7 years. NeNe is the BEST. She takes her time with a pedicure making sure your feet are pampered. The store opens at 9:30a just be sure to get there early it can become crowded at times. read more

I was overdue for a pedi and this was the only place open as I waited for my son's class to finish. They weren't busy at all; a staff member took care of me right away. The staff was decent; she cleaned the foot sink before I got in. She worked pretty fast but since I told her I had to pick up my son at 11, she went even faster. I found them to be a bit pricey (15 for a pedi). Since I used my credit card, they charge 1 dollar to test the credit card. I gave her a grimace with a side eye but nodded my head. I never heard such thing but I guess they must've deal with alot of declined cards or something, I don't know. Also, they charge 1 dollar for the slippers too. Because they open early, it does fit my schedule so I may come by again in the future. read more

I came on a Friday afternoon for a mani pedi. It was packed so I had to wait for about 35 mins before being served. The manager was not upfront about the amount of time but I was not in a rush so I stayed. My nail technician was somewhat rushed. My pedicure went by pretty fast, like my chair massage wasn't even done and she was already done with my pedicure. The nail polish selection was okay. I wanted a nude color on my toes and the one that I chose was almost done and pretty thick. Probably shouldn't have been on the shelf since the nail polish took forever to dry due to thickness. I did not want any polish on my nails. Overall, it was okay. I was in desperate need of a mani pedi so at this point anything will do. I had to ask her to do basic things that I expected like if one nail had some dirt underneath to clear it out. The prices were cheap. I got a full sets of acrylics and a pedicure a exactly a week prior to this review. The morning after I got my nails done one broke off while putting on my shoe. Then two others broke off within three days. I went back and the lady was insisting that I got them too long, when in fact I've gotten my nails done way longer before at a different salon and that set lasted the full 2 weeks. She sloppily replaced the broken nails and when I left there was acrylic all over my cuticle, the new nails weren't the same shape as the other ones and the nail polish wasn't even applied to the sides. Today I went out to the corner store with all 10 nails and when I get home and unwind I realize I now only have 9. Not to mention the polish on my nails started chipping fairly quickly as well. I payed $40 for my nails and feet and have gotten way better results for less. Do not recommend. read more
