Simple, small train station…read more The Little Neck LIRR is served by the Penn Station and Port Washington lines. It's also one of the only LIRR stations in NYC with a crossing, so don't be running rate if you're catching a train on the other side of the platform. Purchase your ticket ahead of time. There's no indoor waiting area and there's only one shelter, but the platforms rarely get crowded, so it only really matters if it's super cold outside. There's also a decent-sized parking lot with a cab service (wouldn't recommend the latter unless you're in a hurry or the Q36 isn't running). Speaking of that 36, it used to wait for the Queens-bound trains to arrive during the evening rush. Don't know if it still does. The surrounding area is safe, so there's no need to have anxiety taking a train here at night. There's really nothing around the station except a little deli where you can grab a quick sandwich or drink before you depart.

To get to the Westbound side there are two options the overhead walkway (entrance located mid platform) or across the tracks at the entrance of the parking lot area. If you're running late it is highly likely you will miss your train unless you're already on the platform and can run up the stairs and down quickly. Be sure to leave enough time to buy tickets if you do not have any as the machines are located by the entrance of the parking lot which is on the East bound side.. there is one machine also located across on the west bound side. Parking lot has a fee for the weekdays but weekends it is free.

Excluding me and the driver, there were about 10 passengers. I had two seats to myself. And speaking of seats, they were very comfortable. There was decent legroom (I'm 6'1"). Initially, I couldn't find the outlet. I eventually discovered that it' was hidden under the seat. And unlike the Hampton Jitney, the bus wasn't covered with a tacky looking wrapping. The bus left Manhattan at 1 PM. It was scheduled to arrive at Montauk at 4:15 PM. It arrived at 3:28. And with that said, the ride was far from perfect. The bus was as bumpy as a school bus. It was pure torture. The driver seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. He wasn't mean, just apathetic. Other than checking in people and announcing the stops in a soft voice, he said nothing. I paid $34 which is reasonable. The Luxury Liner doesn't run nearly as frequently as the Jitney or LIRR Montauk branch. Furthermore, you don't get the VIP treatment like on the Hampton Ambassador. If you're looking for a no frills experience and you don't care about comfort then the Luxury Liner is ideal.

The nasty customer rep said it's not responsible for buses held up in traffic and that they did send a text notification. This was a lie. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is one of the busiest international gateways in the…read moreUnited States. It offers a wide global reach and airlines support. JFK is large and spread out, with multiple terminals connected by the AirTrain system. Moving between terminals can take time, so planning ahead is important for connections. The airport has a limited range of dining, shopping, and lounge options. Our terminal was dated yet sprinkled with modern pieces of artwork. Security and immigration was relatively easy and connecting was straightforward

They charge $5 for every bag at curbside check-in; and they got rid of the check-in counters inside, and force people to do their own check-in and bag tags via a kiosk..... then, without any guidance or signs or helpful customer service teams, you (as the paying customer) have to find a baggage handler who can double-check your "check-in luggage" and scan your boarding passes and your ids and then weigh your bags and finally push them through the belt. It's a f*cking hot mess. People all over the place, getting frustrated, not knowing which way to go; not knowing who to ask; not knowing how to proceed. WHY NOT JUST HAVE A NORMAL CHECK-IN COUNTER/line and stop the madness!?! :( It's no wonder all the JetBlue customer service team are GROUCHY AF and all of them act like they HATE their lives. Zero smiles, zero customer service and no care whatsoever. The JetBlue I knew and loved is LONG GONE...... this process SUCKS. And after wasting almost an hour just to check-in our luggage (yes, the lines were that SLOW) --the so-called "PRIORITY LANE" takes another hour just to go through TSA check. JFK/Jetblue should DO BETTER!! BE BETTER!! We're all paying you top dollar for your so-called "excellent customer service" --WHERE DID IT GO?!? The only reason we put 2 stars is because the TSA agent was funny and tried to be positive......a big thank you to him. And another star for our flight attendant who was super friendly and polite. She was the ONLY ONE (out of 4 FAs)who smiled and kept people on the positive vibes. The other flight attendants and "customer service" agents were just grumpy AF and had perpetual frowns on their faces. JFK / JETBLUE = FAIL

We ordered garlic honey & sweet soy wings, and chorizo sliders and asked for 2 waters for a to go order but ended up cancelling the waters since we brought our own water bottles. Friend and I ordered food with the bartender/server and then gave our credit card to the server/bartender to pay before receiving our receipt. When we received the bill for signature, the bill just showed the total without an itemized receipt which came out to be 20% higher than what we had expected so we pointed out to the server that the waters might've been accidentally included to which the bartender/server confirmed it wasn't included so that's when we were a little concerned since the total amount was a lot higher than we had expected so we asked for an itemized receipt to find out that a 20% gratuity was automatically included to our take out order. Once the server handed the itemized receipt to us, he did not mention his added on gratuity that he gave himself and the sense he gave us was as if he was entitled to the 20% gratuity. Understanding that the economy is not doing so great right now so friend and I did not ask for the gratuity to be removed but the experience itself left quite a distaste for both of us especially as first timers.

They would not give us tap water and said we could only buy bottled water which was a major bummer since we were going to order plenty of food--not the end of the world but definitely annoying. So we were looking for a place to watch the baseball game and enjoy some food after a day of Pickleball in Queens and we found this place doing a search online. They have multiple TV's and plenty of seating which was really nice. It is a bit dated inside but very comfortable and a more sophisticated bar menu. We had some AMAZING nachos for an appetizer which were loaded with chicken, beans and all the fixins and baked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their main dishes immensely including the Greek Salad, chicken wings, hamburger sliders and the skirt steak. They also have an extensive beer menu which is awesome with both bottled and tap beers which we loved. I think the best part of our experience was the bartender/manager who waited on us (and everyone else as it was only him in the chef). He was super friendly, attentive and even changed the TV for us so we could watch the Mets game. He thanked us multiple times for coming in and we will absolutely be back. The great quality of the food, multiple TV's and it not being overly crowded will bring us back again for sure. The fantastic customer service from the bartender meant a lot to us--he often brought us sharing plates without us having to ask and made some good suggestions on what to order. We were also shocked to learn they are open until 11P five days/week. We cannot wait to return again to play some mini golf as well. This may be our new hidden gem....LOL
