We have had sushi in lots of big cities etc, but we LOVE this little place best!!! They do wonderful presentations and the food is delicious and the staff are so sweet! We come here every chance we get!! Great place to take kids as well! They have kids chopsticks and ours loved the little lights in the presentations etc!

Once again, I eat different...on this day I was particularly hungry...I decided to try crab fries...I am glad that I did...not two ingredients that you would expect together...BUT IT WORKS!!! I would recommend you all to try the crab fries.

This is a review long needed. This is my favorite spot to get Chinese food when I come into town, and I've never given them credit for that. I used to eat here when they first started as a tiny little "togo" type kitchen with a few tables for lunch goers. I love authentic spicy Hunan Chinese food, but I also like mild American style Chinese takeout. And this meets my needs for the American style, good beef and broccoli, sweet and sour American style Chinese food. Speaking of Beef and broccoli... that is my favorite things to order at a Chinese spot. So I attached a picture of their yummy version. I also like a good egg roll and white rice, which I also had here. We came in for lunch... now they have expended their Restaurant to have a real dinning area and even a sushi bar. We explained to the waitress we only had 45 minutes to eat. She said no problem. And it was no problem. This waitress was on her game! we ordered off the lunch menu, and she had our food out in ten minutes, followed by our check. She came right back and ran our card immediately. We were done eating with 20 minutes to spare!!!! So, if you're in the area, and have a hankering for some American Chinese... check out Lin's. :)

Great staff behind the counter, fresh food every time I come. Definitely one of the best places for Chinese food in the area!

My party and I had a wonderful experience at Chen's Garden in Shreveport. We started with the crab…read morerangoons, which were fried perfectly with a rich, flavorful crab filling. We also tried the soft-shell crab--it was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh. One guest ordered the seafood combination dinner and said everything was well-cooked, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The fried rice that came with the seafood dinner was cooked very nicely with egg and great texture. Another had the orange chicken, and although there were several chili peppers in the sauce, it wasn't too spicy--just right. The orange flavor really came through, and everything was fried crisp, not soggy. I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix dinner (General Tso's chicken and shrimp with onion and ginger slices), and it was hands down the best General Tso's I've ever had. The shrimp were beautifully cooked, and I opted for lo mein instead of rice--it was fresh, lightly sauced, and not oily at all. This is not a buffet, and honestly, it felt like stepping back 40 years to when Chinese restaurants were more intimate, authentic, and personal. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the time from ordering to receiving our food was impressively quick. I highly recommend this hidden gem. They also offer sushi and a variety of lunch specials (we visited outside of lunch hours), and everything looked so good that I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

I would skip the sashimi; it was of mediocre quality. However, considering it's Shreveport and this is a Chinese restaurant, that is to be expected. The California Roll in the combo was delicious and well-made.

I lived in Japan for several years off and on... and even though I wasn't expecting world class…read moresushi out of a Chinese restaurant in Louisiana... I figured it would at least be enjoyable. The salmon maki was six small pieces, the normal order is eight and they should be at least an inch across , plus my chopstick was thicker than the salmon that they used. OK, let's try a spicy tuna poke bowl,, pretty hard to screw that up, right? Wrong... huge bowl of rice with about a dozen tiny flakes of old tuna coated in flavored cracker... with a tablespoon of edamame and 10 slivers of cucumber... drenched in thousand island dressing . So I ordered the takoyaki, I mean, that's just pancake batter with a good hunk of octopus... even kids can make that on the griddle... but not here! Normal order is eight, they gave me four frozen takoyaki balls, which they don't cook long enough, so the inside is completely watery/mushy, and the tako inside was smaller than a pea, and still frozen solid! Then the manager wanted to argue with me that fish is really expensive ... and I'm like well so are your prices... so where is the value? Either do it right... or take it off the menu... because this is an insult to Japanese cuisine!
