Country curry

The place was pretty open on sunday around 1pm. Inside it feels more like a lounge than restaurant. There were whimsical aspects like flower walls and neon lights combined with dark colors and velvet decor. The service was friendly and timely. We appreciated our waiter. The food though was just average. It wasnt bad but it also wasn't something to write home about. The chicken in my drunken noodle was definitely dry and overcooked while the chicken in the curry was juicier and not overcooked.

We came here the first night after moving to the area. The restaurant was very cute, full but not overwhelmingly loud. We ordered the pork belly fried rice and chicken pad Thai. Both were really good, and they came out incredibly fast. The presentation was lovely, and our waiter knew we would want to take a picture. Definitely recommend.

Back with another Thai restaurant review bcus it's my obsession! Give me a Thai name atp! Such a glamorous Thai restaurant where I was able to sit in their little nook area by the window with my laptop in peace. I loved my Thai basil chicken dish and it being served in the elegant pink bird cage. The Thai lemonade was delicious, service was good and fast, and I loved the black and gold table set. Go, enjoy!!

Side Fried Rice. Very good but not enough veggies.

Ordered via UE and the delivery was great. Food arrived medium warm but butterfly shrimp were still crispy and fried rice needed more veggies and egg but the flavor was great. I would definitely order take-away again but next time I want to do brunch, the take-away food was that good. Round II: Stopped in after work because I wanted to try the wings and get some more butterfly shrimp. Immediately greeted upon entering, the music was flowing and several patrons were enjoying HH specials. I ordered take-away and it took about 10-15 minutes for my name to be called. Took my goodies to the car and tasted the wings....nope. They tasted off....stale...old...tough to chewy. They were chucked. I hate wasting my $$. The shrimp were just as good as yesterday and I have zesty cocktail sauce @home to complement them. Knocked off two stars for the stale wings and wasting my hard earned moola.

Saw the ad on IG and since we love Thai we said let's check it out! Lots of tables, attentive staff and good food.

Hidden gem with 4-10pm happy hour Monday-Thursday! Tasty food and friendly service. I appreciate that we weren't rushed arriving at 9pm, they just politely let us know that the kitchen would close soon and made sure to do a last call at each table. Cute decor and food presentation in lit up flowered cages. Absolutely worth a try, I'll likely revisit.

We did a takeout order here for dinner today, and the food was great. My only complaint was that the basil fried rice was not spicy at all! There was a jerk chicken-type dish which was fried and had gravy with it, and it was amazing. I do wish it was a bit spicier too. Everything here was good; I just personally wish it was spicier.

Crab Rangoons and Lychee martini

I was visit VA for the weekend, and this spot had been on my list for a while. The customer service was top tier and the food was good. I especially loved the crab rangoons! The drinks were my favorite part of the visit. The atmosphere has a very cool vibe. Its surprising that its located in a shopping center, but that worked for me because I hate searching for parking.

Linjee was a 10/10 experience! The service was amazing! We were greeted, seated and given water quickly. The menu had great variety and the dining area and bar were absolutely beautiful. You would never think of upscale it looked on the inside by judging the outside because it is located in a shopping center. The drinks were so well mixed and yummy. I only needed one so it was well worth what I paid. For an upcharge, they will service your drink with a sparkler. I didn't get one but my friend, who's was the birthday girl did. I definitely recommend the watermelon margarita. The food was brought to our table on a floral cage display. Mostly every appetizer I tasted was great: spring rolls, crab rangoons, and chicken satay skewers. The steamed dumplings were just ok. My entree was pad Thai with salmon and it was sooo good. I definitely recommend and would love to go back.

I am beyond disgusted by my experience. After I had already started eating my papaya salad, I discovered a dead ladybug mixed into the food. It was absolutely revolting and completely ruined my meal. There is no excuse for serving food in this condition. Proper washing and food preparation should prevent insects from ending up in a customer's meal. This raises serious concerns about the restaurant's food handling and quality control. I will never return, and I believe this incident warrants a review of the restaurant's food safety practices. Finding a bug in prepared food is completely unacceptable.

The drink and policy
Mo M.

Please be aware when ordering your drinks here. I ordered the Bangkok 54 took one sip of it and it didn't taste good at all. It tasted like cough syrup. So I requested to exchange it but was told the policy didn't allow refunds or exchanges. I spoke with the manager and they wasn't concerned or cared about how I felt about the drink. I was told I still had to pay for it even though it didn't taste good. So basically the bartender can make a drink any way they want and you are responsible for paying it regardless. It was a $9 drink that could've been fixed but they didn't want to do that so they've lost a customer. Also they're not the nicest people and come off as rude or don't want to be bothered. The food was just okay, but definitely over priced.

Green Curry

Linjee Thai was excellent! My coworkers and I ate dinner here when I traveled to the area for work. While we aren't the typical clientele, the server was polite and helpful. The place has a trendy, energetic vibe. The food was excellent! I had the green curry, which is gluten free and dairy free. I would certainly go back!

THE FOOD? The food! 100/10 Everything was so good! Me and my friends came here to celebrate Chic Saturday and I'm so happy that we did. The service was really good and the staff was very nice. From the outside, you might be like hmmm .. what am I walking into but it's so pretty inside. Linjee Thai gives classy vibes but also pretty casual. I cannot wait to come back.

When we arrived, we mentioned it to the staff and showed them the post, and they were happy to apply the discount to our check. The food here is fantastic. The variety of Korean side dishes were all delicious. We ordered the soybean paste soup, corn cheese, and steamed eggs, and each one was spot on. In addition to the menu items, they have a buffet area with different types of food to choose from. The thinly sliced brisket was good quality as well. The service was incredibly quick and our server came by frequently to check on us and see if we needed to order anything else or if we were doing okay.

For what you get, the $25 per adult price is reasonable. All the tables in the front dining room were taken, so we were seated in the larger rear dining room. Our server was absolutely fabulous in every respect. On our visit there was an auto-tip of 20%. But because our server was so good, we added extra tip. As is typical in Korean barbecues, each table has its own grill. The server will cook your meat for you. For our first round of meat, we ordered the Hawaiian Beef and Pork belly. What makes the beef Hawaiian is the bits of pineapple in the meat. Both the Hawaiian beef and the pork belly were excellent. For our second round, we ordered the spicy chicken. JP loved it! With your meat, you get sides. We requested the steamed egg and corn cheese. The steamed egg is made with broth and is delicious. The corn cheese was good. In addition, you're provided with steamed rice and an excellent salad made with nice fresh lettuce and a tasty vinaigrette. But wait, there's more! You also get banchan. The kimchi was extra good and so were the banchan dipping sauces. And there's still more! With your ACYE meal you can go to the buffet table laden with treats like spring rolls, tempura sweet potatoes, kimchi pamcakes, two different kinds of noodles, chicken wings plus a few more snacks. To complete our meal, we were given ice cream bars on a stick (vanilla ice cream with a dark chocolate shell). This was very good ice cream. You betcha we will be back, we really love Gogi's! Side note: the Menu link is broken on Gogi's web page, so refer to Yelp's Gogi photos to see the menu. Also, it would be nice if they left a menu at the table so you can have a better idea of what to order for subsequent requests.

We had family visiting from out of town and my meat-eating spouse found this nondescript restaurant on a list of best burgers. He ended up ordering a rare steak with beautiful chimichurri on top. The rest of us had cheeseburgers that were delicious (I recommend adding mushrooms). To start, we had a couple of appetizers that spiked our blood glucose but didn't disappoint. You'll find this cool spot in a strip mall, but don't doubt the quality of food and service for a second. Alan was extremely attentive and we would return just to have him wait on us again. Today, we were greeted quickly and warmly and shown to a table. My Dad had a huge burger, which he said was good. My sister had the Gumbo- I tasted it and it was delicious! My Caribbean chicken and shrimp would've been delicious, but the chicken was way way too salty! The shrimp and beans and rice were both good. I'm so glad I ordered the sauce on the side because it ratcheted up the salt level to briny. Our server was adequate. The dining room is in a sort of weird U-shaped to me, but and spaced to serve. The friendly Manager stopped by our table to give my little niece a toy, and check on our experience. Our food hadn't come yet, so I didn't share that I didn't enjoy my meal. Even though I didn't enjoy the dish I had, I probably come back to try the burger.

I post up here to work all the time during the week and it's perfect for it: chill vibe, comfortable, easy to settle in for a few hours and actually get things done. The staff is what really seals it. Friendly every time, they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. And the range is what makes it special. During the week it's a laid-back work-and-relax spot, but on the weekend it turns up into a whole vibe. Same place, two moods, both excellent. We usually sit at the bar and food and service is consistently good. They no longer have daily specials but the Trifecta options that include a soup/salad and soft drink are a great value. My companion had the burger with a side Caesar that he shared with me. It was a good start, a basic Caesar with chopped lettuce and Parmesan and croutons. He had a few issues with the burger with the meat sitting on top of the lettuce, pickles and onion rather than the reverse but he dealt with it. And we both enjoyed the seasoned fries. I followed up with the dry rub bone-in wings. They were meaty and served up hot and fresh. The wings are a favorite and always good. The salt and pepper grinders are a noticeable and welcome detail, not common in any restaurant. The TVs always have a variety of games so there's something for everyone. There was even Scooby Doo on one of the screens for those fans. This is one of our go-to spots for the food, quality, service and reasonable prices. The inside isn't much to write about, a typical sports bar but extremely clean. But let's get into the goods! Our waitress was this small in stature Hispanic lady. I unfortunately can't remember her name but she was so sweet and attentive! We got there right as their happy hour deal was ending and she asked the manager if we could put one order of drinks in and still receive the deal. She also brought a sample basket of the appetizers to our table since we were first timers. A restaurant that knows how to treat their customers! The basket came with their boneless, traditional wings, pretzels, and Mac and cheese bites. The pretzel bites?! Fresh and perfectly soft inside but crunchy outside. And I normally hate pretzels because they can be dry. Same story with the Mac and cheese bites. Every bite of the basket grew my excitement for our main course. Every single item was delicious!! We literally paused after the first samples in genuine happiness. For national wings day, they had a $16 endless jumbo wings deal. We added endless fries which was an extra $3. We got the traditional and dry rub wings. They have a variety of sauces. For the dry rub, the put the sauce on the side and the traditional is mixed with the sauce. The dry rub by itself, sans sauce, is stellar. I honestly could've kept eating it just as is. The traditional was also really good but there's just something about the dry rub. The sauces we tried were all really good but I wasn't a fan of the teriyaki. By the end of the night, our bellies were overly full and ready to combust but truly some of the best wings and customer service I've had. Afterwards, we had to go for a walk in the parking lot to try and walk off some of the food. I will forever give praise to this restaurant. I came in not expecting much but was genuinely blown away. And also want to shout out the lovely black woman who brought out our food and assisted our waitress. Stellar service and food all around.
