MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE KOREAN RESTAURANT IN HOUSTON!!! I absolutely love this place. From the moment…read moreyou step into the clean, large restaurant, you get greeted by the loveliest Korean ahjummas and are seated at a table next to a TV playing some K-Drama. The menu is big, but every item on it is executed so well. The flavors are comparable to that you'll get in Korea, with the side dishes few but perfect (the kimchi, jjangachi, and radish kimchi). My favorite is the gamjatang---there is so much meat, the potatoes are piping hot, and the soup is perfectly seasoned and rich. The pancakes and blood sausages are also delicious. I love coming here whenever I crave authentic Korean food: everything from the service to the meal itself is top-tier. The prices are also very very reasonable, especially lunch prices! Parking is plentiful and it's right off the freeway. You have to come here for the best Korean food in the area---I drive all the way from the Medical Center to come here, and it never disappoints!

The ojinguh bibimbap tasted just like a super popular Korean place in OC. 5/5. Service was very friendly and the place was decently busy for lunch time. They play Korean dramas on the side and it seems spacious enough. I'm impressed for Korean food in Katy!

Staff seem friendly and very focused. This is A-La-Carte, wait to be seated, order and pay at the table. 2. Price - $10-$17 a plate. 3. Ambiance - the wall wrap and decor is very nice. It has a modern appeal. Very orange in there, but I don't mind. It makes you feel happy. This is a fast food joint. Great place for families and a hang out with friends. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - we've ordered a lot, but the ones that stood out to me were their PORK SOUP DUMPLINGS and their PORK & CABBAGE BOILED DUMPLINGS. 5. Cleanliness - dining area and restrooms look clean. The minute someone leaves, you can see someone cleaning your table before you leave the restaurant. Amazing speed! Each restroom are for one user at a time. They have 2 sets of restrooms, 1 for Men and 1 for Women. SUMMARY: This was my first time here, and I think I have discovered my favorite Dumpling restaurant in Houston!

Loves definitely had a steady flow of customers in and out, so it had to be good! We ordered a selection of dumplings and soup. All authentic and fresh. Pork soup dumplings were good and can be eaten once served. The broth is not overly piping hot. Pork and scallion thumb buns were great! Better than the soup dumplings imo. The pork pan fried dumplings were solid. No surprises. The pork and shrimp soup, also great - no complaints. Clean, service was good. Overall not a bad dumpling spot....if you live close by and do not want to travel to Chinatown.

Food and drinks: This place has well designed menu that lets you easily choose from many different dishes. There is something for everyone here, from soups to shareable dishes, noodle options, and variety of meats. The spice levels are added for awareness. The food was very flavoursome, well seasoned and balanced. All foods had traditional flavours to them. You can choose flavoured green teas to accompany your meal. Pricing: $$ - definitely worth it for the taste, quality and quantity of food served.

Service was spot on, quick, and we got our food in what felt like maybe a few minutes. We started off with pork dumplings for the kiddo, which he INHALED in moments. For entrees, we split the orange chicken and the Spicy/Numbing Pot. The orange chicken was spot on. The sauce was sweet but not painfully sweet or thick/clumpy. Really nice orange flavor and tender chicken. So much fun eating it since it is gluten free! Our kiddo also devoured this dish! Mild - not spicy at all! The Spicy Numbing Pot, while a little oily/greasy on the bottom, was still delicious! I appreciated that it wasn't knock your socks off spicy - it had a solid kick, and so flavorful. I love eating dishes with Sichuan Pepper; it has a lot of flavor, and the tingling is so much fun. This dish was perfect with some rice, and it wasn't too heavy for the middle of the day. The prices were really reasonable, and there was enough food for leftovers which we ate later that night. Our only regret is not getting the duck appetizer, but we will be sure to get it next time. We can't wait to go back, and Tiger Noodle will happily be in regular rotation for our family! You can't go wrong!
