You can book your first visit online. Kaeli did an outstanding job of choosing dresses for me based on a couple of inspiration photos I showed her. She also listened carefully and quickly adjusted as I gave my thoughts along the way, which is quite a skill, since it was my first shop experience, and I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted going in. They have a variety of styles and price points, and Kaeli was respectful of my 2K budget, choosing dresses within budget (not all places will do this, beware!). I almost got my dress here, however, I ended up choosing a different style at a sample sale a month later due to pricing, timing, and style--I liked my top two dresses equally. I would HIGHLY recommend including this place for your OC wedding dress shopping!

When we all got back and walked in, we were greeted by Hailey. She was so bubbly and genuinely excited to help my daughter find the dress. She was incredibly sweet and spoke to my daughter, Anyssa, in such a sincere and warm way that it immediately made her feel comfortable. Since I work in customer service myself, I can easily recognize when someone goes above and beyond and Hailey absolutely did. My sister and everyone with us agreed. Hailey, you are in the right job. God truly placed you exactly where you're meant to be right now. It was clear that you weren't doing this for the commission or for what you might gain from the sale. You were doing it because you understood what this moment meant to my daughter. That meant everything to us. I would 100% recommend you to anyone looking for their wedding dress not just because of the bridal shop, but because of you. I truly hope you are recognized for the amazing job you do. Leaving Monday I felt super optimistic and we planned to come back to work with you on Thursday with my mom, future mother in love and friends. I went home Monday and proceeded to look on your website and took pictures of additional gowns I wanted to try on for Thursday. Fast forward Thursday, you had SEVERAL of those new dresses already pulled aside. You listened, observed and knew where my mind was going on style and fit. Above and beyond to come in and that you'd already prepared some other options. Wild to say but all the incredible selections I tried on, on Monday were compounded by 3 additional top contenders on Thursday when I said "yes to the dress". The turnaround time for our wedding is less than 6 months. I value Stephanie's intentionality as we explored my options and trying on things that were either in stock or could be made in time or rush made in time. Stephanie also looked at inspo pictures that my friend had on her phone, and selected some dresses for her based on what she was looking for. The prices seemed pretty reasonable; I think the dresses we personally looked at were around $1500-$2800. There was also a large selection and variety of dresses, so I feel like they have something for everyone. I was really impressed with how spacious and comfortable the seating area was. Around the pedestal where the brides stand on, there is plenty of room to walk around to scrutinize the dress and take pictures! But honestly, what made this visit so memorable was just how personable, friendly, and funny Stephanie was. She was so helpful with assisting my friend into the different dresses and she brought out different veils and accessories for my friend to try on with the dresses to complete the look. We were so close to finishing our alterations until I had to postpone the wedding once the pandemic started. At that time, Shelley kindly offered to hold onto my two dresses at her place. After a year, once weddings slowly started resuming, I reached out and told her I would pick it up to make room for her other clients, and she left detailed notes inside my garment bag so that we'd know where we had left off, and how much of the fees had already been paid. I reached out to her assistant in January 2022, and was easily able to resume where we left off with alterations. And I finally just got married late February !! By the way, the fees that Shelley charges are absolutely reasonable and probably the lowest you could find anywhere! Best of all, Shelley is so kind and funny, and made me feel so comfortable every time I came to visit. She knows her stuff, and does great, honest work. Both of my dresses were hemmed and tailored so well, and I'm so grateful for her.

We all sat down and she asked what I want to look and feel like in my dress, if I have an idea of what I want (shape, fabric, color, etc), if I've tried any dresses on already, and my price range. We got to browse and point out any dresses for Erin to pull while she went all around pulling any dress she thought I might like. Erin clipped me in so well that I didn't have to tug and adjust the dress while seeing how I liked it. For each dress I got to walk out to the pedestal and check myself out in the mirror and lighting. For each dress, she asked how I felt in it, what I liked, what I didn't like, what I would change... and this all helped her narrow down which dresses to try on or others to grab to add to the list. I got to try different veils (which I didn't know I wanted and it totally completed the look, so now I'm getting a veil) and even go to different lighting to see what natural lighting would look like on the sparkles too. When I found the dress, I got to participate in the Mon Amie tradition of making a wish for myself, my fiancé, and my marriage, then ring the bell and celebrate! Measurements were taken and a detailed contract was written up with pricing and a quote for alterations. Parking was easy & there is a bathroom in the back! There was a ginormous selection of dresses of all fits, fabrics, and styles.

Unfortunately, my presentation appointment this past weekend was very different. I invited my maid of honor and future mother-in-law since it was just my mom and I during my initial dress shopping appointment. I expected a similar, celebratory moment, but it felt more like a quick errand. We were placed in a small back room, the appointment felt rushed, and there was little of the hospitality I experienced before. The biggest issue was trying on my dress. It didn't fit, which was stressful and disappointing, but obviously no one's fault. That said, I wish the staff had taken a more discreet and thoughtful approach, like adjusting or clipping the dress before bringing my guests in. Instead, my guests were brought in while the dress was visibly unfastened, and the conversation focused on fit issues. I was also asked about my weight in front of everyone, which felt uncomfortable and could have been handled more privately. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially compared to such a strong first impression. I still love my dress and hope this was just a one-off, and that the alterations process will be more positive. I'd just recommend managing expectations and not treating the presentation appointment as a special occasion for guests.

I emailed back, asking her about the other linens and chair cover, and she didn't respond. I called her a few days later and she said she was really busy and would get back to me as soon as possible. I asked for a specific day, like Wednesday, and she said she would email me by then. She also added that I could set up an appointment to see her showroom, a fact that she had neglected to tell me in the first two phone calls and 3 emails I had sent her. She did send a photo by Wednesday, but again, failed to respond to a couple of questions and still left out a photo I was waiting for - a sample of an overlay I had asked about weeks back. I scheduled an appointment with her and she showed me her linens and quoted me at $872 to rent for 19 overlays and 150 chair covers and sashes. I did some research and found an online company that sells linens for about $422 including shipping and after special discount codes they posted on their Twitter site (they always have some sort of promo running!). They are called Linentablecloth and I didn't hesitate to use them, plus they shipped the items quickly. Not only that, I paid less to own, not rent, satin overlays, not polyester, as Angie was quoting me at. Angie was very unprofessional, and it was wearing on me to always hear how busy she was and have to constantly chase after her. Well, in the end, she was 'too busy' to earn my business.
