I rented tables, chairs, and drapes to use for lunch after me and my husband's traditional tea ceremony on 9/23/2023. After my inquiry for the price, a representative responded to me the very next day, and I placed the order. On Friday, 9/22/2023, everything was delivered to the house where the tea ceremony was taking place. I noticed that the drapes we ordered were off white, however the website said white. Before the delivery person left, I ran out and asked them about it, and they told me that they only had off white for those type of drapes, and I explained that the website said "white" and even the picture looks white, not off white. They told me to contact the company about it to see what they could do for me. I contacted the company right away, and I think the person who I spoke with was Danielle. I explained the situation, and she understood. She said they would bring over white velour drapes for us to replace the off white ones. The velour drapes normally cost extra, but she said they would not charge me extra. After a few hours, the delivery person brought over the new drapes and set them up for us. They also told us that the website had been updated to show that the drapes we originally rented were actually off white. I have rented from Create-A-Party many times over the last 17+ years and it has always been a great experience. The staff has always been super helpful. My 2 most recent rentals with them did not disappoint. I hosted a baby shower at my house and was able to get everything I needed - and more - to help my vision come to life. I paid extra to have everything delivered, set up, and cleaned up. The delivery was punctual and not having to worry about the set up really took away a lot of stress from the day. Most recently we needed to rent some tables and chairs for a funeral reception that we were having after the graveside service for my father-in-law. It happened to be during a super busy time for rentals and at first we were told they were full. However, after talking to the staff and explaining that it was for a funeral (and therefore we didn't have much notice to be able to book ahead) they looked through their system and were able to accommodate our small order. I met with Cristina and she was so helpful and was able to answer my questions and give input on what might work best for my event. Despite all the good reviews, my experience with create a patty rentals wasn't very positive. First, they arrived late without notice, 30 min after the time window they confirmed. I understand delays happen, just wish they had given me a heads up so I could plan my day accordingly. I know some of their deliveries don't require people to be home, but mine did. In terms of the condition of their items, one of the round tables I rented had this old gum stuck on it, and two of the rattan placemats had a run so they weren't in the same shape as the others. I was honestly okay with the above and didn't think of leaving a review until the day I returned the items. They picked them up, and I got a call from them a couple hours later, claiming that I didn't return any of their placements and just left trash in their crate. They weren't asking nicely if I might have forgotten to return them, but rather accusatory, saying that I will have to pay for those regardless of my explanation that I indeed returned them all. I called them a minute later to further explain, and another person said there were two returns they picked up that day and simply got one another mixed up. I did not get any apologies for the confusion. I will acknowledge that the rest of my experience with them was fine. Their website had all the pricing and sizes upfront, and they were helpful answering my questions before placing an order. That said, I do not agree with the other reviews highlighting their promptness and excellent communication because that wasn't the case for me. read more

I needed tables, chairs, and lamps for my backyard wedding reception. A family friend suggested this company cause she has used them in the past. I went on their website, picked out what I wanted, called in the order. So easy to work with this company! I even had an addition to my order after it was placed, I handled it via email, and everything turned out perfect. They came and set up everything - 11 tables, 80 chairs, 5 lamps - the day before the party. I paid less than $30 for set up. They came two days after the party to take it all away - we had to take it all down and put it on the side of the house but it was no big deal. Their stuff is nice, clean, and sturdy. The price I paid for all that I rented was honestly about half of what I thought I would have to pay! It was under $500, I was shocked! Just so you know, I used my own linens, those aren't theirs in the pictures. But they do have linens and I am sure they are awesome! If I ever have another large party I will definitely use them, and I will be recommending them to anybody who needs party rentals! read more

Rented 6' tables and white resin chairs this past weekend for a birthday party at our house. Chairs were given to us so dirty all of them had to be taken apart and scrubbed down. At $3/chair, I would expect them to be ready to use. Also, CAP is anywhere from 10-50% more in price than other party rental companies. For example, they wanted approx $20 for a single linen for a 6' table. Other companies charge $8-9. I bought one on Amazon for $18 that was thick and heavy duty. We only went with them bc the other companies we reached out to didn't have what we needed for our date. read more
