Wonderful family owned and operated business that I can't say enough good things about. I reached out to Authentic just over 1year from my wedding date. I reserved 5 round tables with umbrellas, 50 chairs, a couple of rectangular tables, 4 cocktail tables and a large draping canopy with a chandelier. Anthony took the reservation and went the extra mile to go to the location of my wedding to make sure everything would hit correctly. I was really impressed and taken back by the gesture. I'd expect for a typical company to show up on the day of and then say, "sorry, can't make it happen and we're keeping your deposit." I continued to look at yelp and the Authentic website for new items throughout the year. I must have changed my mind a million times and my final reservation include a hedge wall/back drop, additional rectangular tables and lines for every table. Anthony always got back to me quickly throughout the year. At one point, I suggested a product to Anthony that might be good item to offer. He spoke with his contacts and found someone who could custom make the item I suggested for my wedding! I was amazed! When it came to the setup, Anthony was in contact with us every step of the way and planned his setup process according to our needs. For example, we needed to add flowers to the hedge wall / backdrop, so he got that setup first. Then, the chairs came out...brand new white wooden folding chairs! I was shocked and so very grateful. I asked Anthony how I was lucky enough to get new chairs and he advised that booking far in advance was the key. As the bride, I felt that he strived to make everything aspect in his control easy and seamless for me. The new chairs were icing on the cake. His beautiful wife and children were a great addition to our happy vibe. All our guests were very impressed with the umbrella tables and the draped canopy. I received so many compliments on how professional looking our little backyard wedding and reception looked. So Saturday, June 12 I was having my son a College graduation So I called Authentic party rentals and order a jumper and 50 chairs. They told me I would need to put 50% deposit . And pay the remaining balance when the stuff was delivered which I did. They told me they will be there at 10 so he called my sister to say he was going to be there earlier my sister had prior obligations and was going to make it back to her house at the time scheduled. He got upset and said if she wasn't there in 15 minutes he will not go. Like REALLY how are you going to do that ? Then my sister had told him she would zelle him the remaining balance at the drop off time but he said NO he wanted Cash and due to covid my sister doesn't really use cash. But what does it matter if it's cash or zelle there still getting paid.. After all that he Raised his voice and said we been CANCELED like WTH who does that?? They said they were going to zelle my sister back and she still HAVE NOT got her money back it's been 4 days I've been calling and calling and there not answering my calls. I think that's BAD BUSINESS So I was stressing out trying to get another jumper and chairs all last minute like 4 hours until the party. Thank god I found someone who was nice enough to come his name is Carlos from JOKERS PARTY RENTAL. So if you ever need to rent look him up and give him a call. Absolutely terrible party rental service. The worker Tony was very kind, however the products are absolutely terrible. I rented out 5 tables, and 50 white wood chairs. The chairs all came sticky, most are damaged, all the cushions are different sizes. A lot of the chairs are unacceptable and could not even use them for my party. Do not recommend using this company for your party rentals whatsoever. I was told that this party rental is a 'second hand' party rentals. Couldnt be happier with my experience. Anthony was spectacular. I called the day before my event for help and he definitely exceeded my expectations. I needed a canopy but had no clue the sizing of my space and he was able to guide me toward getting the right size equipment along with tables and chairs. Anthony was so accomodating! I wanted everything set up at a certain time but couldnt be there and he was able to work with me and set up for me while I was out tending to my family and sent me pictures while setting up. I decided to host my graduation party last minute and was in desperate need to find a party rental team who was able to supply a tent and some chairs with short notice. Big thank you to Anthony, Alicia, and their family! You all are awesome! Most party rental places require you to book 1-2 weeks in advance, so I was super lucky to find Authentic Party Rentals via Yelp. Prior to booking, I contacted the phone number listed--Alicia answered and was able to answer all my questions for pricing; and Anthony had informed me that there was another lady who wanted to book that same weekend, so that obviously added to me being sold to booking with them (mind you, I had contacted 5 other places before this one and they all denied). Leading up to the event, our conversations were through text. Although I gave them 5 stars, I do wish that with their next customers, they are more concrete with establishing payments the day of the consultation. As a customer, it's nice being able to know everything the day of you making the deposit, because I wasn't sure how I was supposed to pay for the rest of the remaining balance til a couple days before. I work a lot of hours, so it's hard finding time to pull cash out, but it was do-able for MY event. Since this party rental is a small business, I did not want to be scammed (thank goodness I was not). I wasn't aware as to why I was able to pay my deposit via Venmo, but had to pay the rest in cash day of until I asked--which I'm glad I did, because understand why it's cash. The reason being is because of 3rd party transaction issues--never know if the other person suspiciously cancels on their payment, which is a totally valid understanding for their end. Overall, Alicia & Anthony are both very sweet, hardworking people. They were able to both set up & clean up at the times given.
