Upon discovering that I had ordered the wrong frame by mistake, I returned to the store to inquire about a refund. I figured this should not be a problem, since I had not even picked up the bed frame from their warehouse yet. I was charged over 25% of the price of the frame as a "restocking fee" to simply not pick up item. Keep in mind that this frame was extremely compact, and did not take up very much space. As a student struggling to make ends meet and getting by with student debt, I am beyond disappointed that the Snuggler's manager chose a $30 profit over reasonable customer service. I strongly urge anyone to avoid this store whenever possible, as my experience highlights Snuggler's concern with immediate profit as greater than its willingness to develop a positive relationship with its future customer base.

I have been a loyal Sleep Country customer for 20 years. My experience was always positive until…read morethis month. I am sad to write that Sleep Country is no longer the trustworthy business it once was. I strongly caution others against shopping there. In January 2026, I purchased the same Sealy Queen-sized mattress and box spring that I had previously purchased several times from the Sleep Country Canada store, on King Street in Waterloo, Ontario. I paid for "green glove" delivery service. Previously, Sleep Country included delivery cost as part of the sale, however, they have now moved to a third-party provider and charge an additional fee for delivery. I was happy to pay it as I had no other means of collecting the mattress. When the deliverymen arrived at my home, they were not very clean and made a mess. They tracked mud inside and left marks on walls. They also informed me that they could not move the mattress and box spring up to the second floor as these items "would not fit up my staircase." I explained to them that previous delivery teams had had no difficulty. They argued that I must have bought a different product. I walked them upstairs to show them that this was no the case. They said, "Well, we cannot see how other deliverymen got them upstairs." Ultimately, they managed to move the mattress upstairs, but they abandoned the boxspring in my living room and drove off. When I complained to Sleep Country, Amber from customer service called me back. She offered a $100 gift card for future purchases, but said that she could not refund the delivery fee. I explained to Amber that I had paid for a service that I did not receive, and told her that I would prefer a refund. She was unwilling to do this. After buying 4 mattresses and box springs, Sleep Country has now lost my business forever. I cannot recommend them and caution others against doing business with Sleep Country; they cannot be trusted to honour their contracts and will not make things right. BEWARE!

Did not deliver and after calling the store several times being told the purchase was put on hold but could not tell me why. The Waterloo store could not get customer service in Toronto to speak to them. I called customer service myself and got through the first time. After being put on hold for 15 minutes they said that my order was on hold because they don't deliver to Bracebridge on Tuesday. They just put the order on hold and did not get back to the Waterloo store or the customer...me! I asked when it would deliver but they couldn't tell me plus now they say there is a $50 delivery charge to Bracebridge. I was told in the Waterloo store there is no delivery charge. After going back to the Waterloo store twice and talking to the store manager she finally found out that they would deliver in 2 weeks. This was not good enough after waiting 2 weeks already and my daughter now sleeping on the floor. The Waterloo manager recommended that I cancel the order and get a refund which I did. I went to Sleep Country because they are a large store and I thought I would get good service. Instead I got the worse service I have ever had making a fairly large purchase. My boyfriend is the ultimate shopper. He knew what was there, including Bulk Barn. As someone who grew up in the Beaches area of Toronto, I was hoping for a real boardwalk. Oh, well. I can't win 'em all! The first store that I parked in front of and visited was Solutions. The closest one to my home is in Richmond Hill. It's nice to frequent a different one. I was greeted promptly by a staff member. It was nice that he said hello. He didn't ask me what I was looking for, which was nice. I looked at all the sale-priced Sistema water bottles and salad containers that were in front of me. Wow! Lots of variety and colours. I love this brand, so I took my time sifting though​ everything. Since back-to-school sales have started, I was looking at shelves and racks. I may need to come back next month and see how some of these items will help me with my organizational projects at home. I ended up getting some 3M Command strips to hang some picture frames at home. I also got a hedgehog toothbrush holder, and penguin and polar bear hot and cold packs. Checking out was painless. I skipped getting a plastic bag. I simply carried my items to my car and got a fabric bag from my truck. I spent a good hour in this store. If you want to get a ton of storage ideas and solutions, it makes sense to stop by and check this store out. (162)
