This is nice store, ruined by terrible service. The owner has zero concept of customer service…read more I was about to buy 4 bars of soap, but mistakenly knocked another one off the table. A corner of the bar dented. The owner started freaking out and said I have to buy it for $7 because it cost her $5. I said sure, and was about to pay $7, until I realized I wasn't going to get the soap! The owner was going to keep it for herself! She kicked me out of the store, when I said I don't like the service. So I left the 4 bars that I was going to buy, and left. I found the same soap on Amazon for less. Why pay more for TERRIBLE SERVICE?? No thanks. To save $5, the owner not only has lost a client who didn't buy $50 worth of soap, and is telling everyone to avoid her store... does that make sense? I hope they go under... proprietors like this do not deserve to be in business. Capitalism always weeds these out, sooner or later.

I called him and explained the problem and he was immediately edgy and defensive, not in the least bit apologetic, and he told me it was a floor model and all sales were final. I said I didn't want to return it but I'd like someone to repair the damage. He told me to stick the paint chips back on with glue! I said I didn't have them all and they were likely in the truck. He was very rude even though I didn't raise my voice and when I asked if this was really how he wanted to run his business he hung up on me. I would never buy from this store again.

We sent emails and pictures with no response. We went to the store and was told that we had to provide them with the delivery date in order for them to action. This was done. Due to Covid shut downs this has dragged on and on. Finally we had someone respond and then pretty much ghost us so another trip to the store in person was made. We were told that the model we purchased less then a year ago is no longer being produced and that we would receive a store credit in the amount of our purchase to put towards another product. I asked for the business card of the individual and wrote the agreement on the card and had him sign it. Following up two days later I was told that they are trying to decide what kind of credit to give me. I mentioned the agreement and was told that they didn't say that, even though I had a signature on the agreement. The couch seams have fallen apart in two areas with several other spots starting to go. What lovely people to work with. We visited a senior friend last week. Her fireplace remote was not…read moreworking and the heat was going up and up in the room--even the wall was hot. I found this company by googling the brand name of the remote, and it turned out they had installed the fireplace years ago! There was no technician available but the very kind lady in customer service took my info and found my friend's info and product. She suggested a few things, and when they didn't work she found someone in the shop to help. He worked from a phone pic I sent him of the unit and talked me through everything I needed to do to leave my friend safe. We didn't leave until the fireplace was off and the wall was cool. These two people both took all the time I needed for absolutely no charge. They talked me through everything patiently and clearly for a unit that was probably twenty years older. I can't thank them enough. For clarity, this was the shop in Waterloo, ON.

Next day they phone me and say its sold and tell me if I still want to purchase it the price would be much higher exactly $1k more. I dont appreciate being lied to and promised a hold by 2 sales people and then being told its been sold to someone else and if I still wanted one its would be double my hold purchase price. Very little integrity this company has when they can not keep their word. Also the price they quoted me to order a new one is more than all the other dealers I had phoned giving me the understanding that they dont want my money.

Totally lost because we had never done this, we started to call different framing stores but they did not get us at all. Until we spoke with Katy, at Framing and Art, she understood exactly what we were looking for, what we needed and time to do it....specially when we didn't speak the "art" terminology; she was very patient, kind and very professional. Once we got there, the back of the SUV packed with our "treasures", we received excellent service, they provided great safe transportation and cost saving tips. We felt we could safely place the art in their hands. When it was pick-up day (they were ready in less than one business day) everything was packed. They had even saved us the bubble-wrap rolled neatly rolled in a bag so we could re-use it when packing and promised to donate the old frames to local school. The last two actions were their suggestions...we love how environmentally conscious they are. We totally recommend Framing and Art!! Two very grateful sisters.
