Paradise Lighting was displaying the identical light in their show Room for $749.00. The owner denied it was the same product and when I showed him a photo that I took from my phone, he snapped saying "Go shop at Home Depot then!" I wrote the EQ3 Head Office an extremely detailed email outlining my experience and forwarding my entire chain of communication with the Assistant Store Manager (fortunately I had everything in writing) only to receive the following response: "Thank you very much for sending the below message and bringing this to our attention. The loss prevention manager is aware and is currently investigating. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with the below details and apologize for any and all inconvenience you have experienced." Dealing with EQ3 has not only been an incredibly frustrating experience but also a fantastic waste of time. The cherry on top is that the Loss Prevention Manager is not even bothered enough to contact me personally regarding the entire experience. Abysmal customer service - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Within 1 month the pillows were pilling and the zipper seams were splitting/tearing and they were in terrible shape. The woman in the store (this was a Thursday evening) was shocked and said that this definitely should not happen in one month and that she would get a full refund or store credit ( we were fine with both), however she was unable to process the refund that night as the manager was not in the store. She took pictures of our receipt and of the pillows defects and told us the manager would be in touch the following day. It's not been over 3 weeks and no one has been in touch and I have called EQ3 Burlington and left a voicemail for the manager. This is absolutely unacceptable given the amount of money we spent on these pillows, clearly the price does not reflect the quality, as the sale clerk agreed. I'd like a full refund for the pillows.

We came here to get…read moreinspiration and to check out some lighting IRL instead of just me imagining through Pinterest. We wanted some statement lights over our dining table and kitchen counters. I don't understand why there are such low ratings here. I'm sure many people here are just browsing, and I rather have a sales rep give us the space and only come to us if we need help and seriously find a piece we're considering. So I have no issues with how no one really came up to us. There's a lot of lighting, but personally, not enough contemporary/modern lighting to our liking. We did take some pictures of the few we liked that are more contemporary-inspired. However, we don't love it enough to pull the trigger. The prices for the lighting are very high for the ones we looked at, about $1500 (for that round chandelier) to $5600 (Criss Cross silver lighting). We liked the look of the round chandelier the most. To our surprise, our neighbour has the same one. So loses that unique appeal. Also don't know how we would change the light if it burns out? Lighting is all personal preference. This trip nothing really screamed "this is the one" for us. If you're into other design themes like traditional, industrial, mid-century modern etc, you may find there is more to your liking than the modern/contemporary styles here. I still recommend to check it out though for yourself if you're in the market for lighting.
