For tables you can choose leg style, size, colour, etc. For couches there are tons of styles and an overwhelming amount of fabric choices. There are also lots of bedroom pieces, dining cabinets, chairs and bar stools. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I've asked them some pretty detailed questions and they've been able to help me every time. Their prices are already very competitive for the quality they offer and they usually have even better discounts on their floor models. The current promotion is no tax on certain pieces. We ended up not finalizing our order elsewhere, as Joshua Creek was extremely helpful in helping us match chairs to our server and dining table. They not only explained how the ordering worked, but looked at our samples to suggest the best way to ensure we were able to match our maple and cherry furniture to our new chairs. The great thing too was we did not have to waste time and haggle on price. We had price shopped the Handstone chairs in numerous places and pricing varied greatly, and we were offered an extremely competitive and reasonable price right away. Our chairs arrived and were excellent, except for one. The stain and grain was substantially different. Joshua Creek took this as an opportunity to earn our loyalty in the future. Not only did they acknowledge the issue, but they picked up, sent back, and re-delivered a proper and fixed chair. In this day and age I find stellar service is hard to find, and it was great to have this taken care of. Although 6 chairs is not a big purchase compared to what some may buy, I appreciate they treated me as a valued customer and went above and beyond. I was extremely impressed to the point of deciding to write a review. I will certainly come back, if not for the quality then for the excellent customer service offered. I feel confident buying at a place like this which stands behind what they sell instead of simply taking your money and making you deal with concerns. I reached out multiple times asking for an update after about a month without response. When I called the store on 2 occasions I was given conflicting information on delivery of the dining table. In my first call around Feb 4th I was told it had shipped. When I called a week later to ask for an update so that I could know when to expect it, I was told it would arrive a few days after shipping. When I prompted that a few days had already passed, I was then told that it would take a few weeks. In this same call when I asked for a refund for the out of stock and discontinued coffee table, I was told to pick a different item. When I asked again for a refund as I didn't want another item, I was hung up on. When I then emailed stating my intention to contact BBB, they sent an email confirming I would get my refund, then ceased communication again (and did not issue the refund). When I escalated the issue to PayPal, the seller then said we had been in communication about me choosing an alternate item for the coffee table, which was a blatant lie. I had asked for a refund multiple times at this point. Regarding the dining table, when PayPal became involved the seller now said it was "on order" and would arrive to their store mid March and would then ship to me. However PayPal investigated and determined the company provided a fraudulent tracking number and therefore refunded my full order. I think it's important to note that while the company I purchased from positioned themselves as "Sterling House", in course of PayPal's investigation the seller provided their email to PayPal as a Furniture Depot email contact. I specifically had not purchased from Furniture Depot due to the concerning online reviews, however it appears that they are the same company, and engage in fraudulent and deceptive business practices.
