There was one very minor hiccup that was easily remedied. I have two sets of wheels, one for winter and one for summer. I left the winter wheels and they called me when the new tires were ready. I was told I could call back the day I wanted to swap them on my car since it would only take 15 minutes to accomplish. When I called in the morning to see if I could come in that afternoon, I was told I had to make an appointment, which would be a week later at the earliest. If I had been told this in the first place, I would have just made the appointment at that time. Nonetheless, they called me back and said they could squeeze me in that same day. Very minor and not concerning. Everyone was incredibly helpful and the service and pricing were amazing. I'll be back for sure.

The interaction with Lane felt more authentic. I appreciate that he was willing to give a range, and advise how price would vary based on if it was a this problem, verses a that problem. The next morning I dropped my car off. Without knowing when they'd get to it, I just took a Lyft to a restaurant in NE for breakfast and figured I'd walk to work from there. My car was ready by 10am and while I could have gone back for it, I decided to wait till later in the day, which they were fine with. The other place had a loaner car, a waiting area, and would have cost less (based on the diagnosed issue, front brake pad & rotor). I explained to them that my husband JUST started a new consulting job ( lucky to find one at age 70!) just 5 weeks ago, and we would not have the serious funds to pay for this (3rd) transmission for 4-5 weeks. All the guys in the shop treated me with respect and were very kind and helpful. The waiting room was nice and cozy and I had a lovely chat with the guys at the front desk and also another waiting customer while I was there. It definitely had a family-run, familiar and low-key atmosphere. I also thought the inspection was a steal of a deal for how thoroughly my car was looked at.
