The BBB reviews speak for itself. Great company with an even better culture. They take care of their homeowners and focus on customer experience along with quality of work. You would be doing yourself a disservice by going with anyone else. read more

I contacted Linear Roofing two weeks ago regarding an issue with a roof corner on a roof they installed just over a year ago. It took about a week to receive an initial response. An inspection was then scheduled, but the technician cancelled the same day because he injured his back, which I understand can happen. What's been frustrating is what happened afterward: no follow-up, no rescheduling, and no communication at all, despite the fact that the issue is ongoing and causing continued damage. When a company installs a major project like a roof, post-installation support matters just as much as the installation itself. Delays happen, but leaving a customer without any update, alternative appointment, or path forward while damage continues is not acceptable. I would much prefer to resolve this directly with Linear Roofing, but at this point I'm still waiting for basic communication. read more

New roof installed in June 2023 was a very satisfactory experience. Tear-off of the old roof took about 2 hours, and the new roof went on same day in about 5 hours. The project manager scheduled all of the trades- gutters, painters, minor repairs, new skylight. Later there was an issue with a vent cap, and the warranty manager Jorge was out the next day with a 2 man crew to repair it. Friendly & professional service that I would definitely use again. read more

These are your typical "door knockers" who canvas neighborhoods looking for roofing business. I live in a private gated community and there are posted signs at the entrance prohibiting solicitors. The individual that rang our doorbell camera had no appearance of being a roofer and sped away in a car driven by a second person. We would never entrust our home to a door banger and don't appreciate their calling cards cluttering our porch. read more

Even though we (homeowners) have a no soliciting sign on the home, Zach Kahn (linear roofing) still comes and leaves his business card on our door. Then when you address this issue with the contractor he tells you "you didn't have to have an interaction with me and you should have just thrown away my card." Zach doesnt understand that if he didn't leave the card then there wouldn't have been an interaction. Zach Kahn does not and will not respect a potential customer. If you'd like to talk to management, don't hold your breath they don't/won't answer your emails. This is the way that business is conducted? Zero stars read more

I had hail damage to my roof on August 16, 2025, which Linear Roofing General Contractors, LLC repaired today, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The sales reps, Jose and Alex, guided me through the insurance claim with professionalism, thoroughness, and a truly accommodating attitude. They coordinated with the insurance adjuster to be on site on the day the house was inspected for damages. On install day, the crew demonstrated impressive skill--carefully protecting my flower beds and leaving the entire property spotless, as if they'd never been there. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence made the whole process stress-free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof. Jake Stephens was the project manager for the repair of our roof, patio cover and carport. Communication was outstanding and all work was done fast and professionally. It was great working with folks who don't over-promise then under-perform which seems like the norm nowadays. Would gladly recommend Linear Roofing (and in fact, we recently did so). read more

I really don't appreciate door knockers who lie & say, "we're working on your neighbor's roof" if it's a lie. I asked who is the customer & got "the Rider's". When I said I didn't recognize the name (small community & we know the neighbors' names) he said didn't remember their address, but he'd let me know. Lie... He came back to leave a car, but did not give any customer information.... Kamron Chapman- do better! read more

Billing discrepancies: I was billed for the full insurance settlement, even when the project did not include all items, leading to unexpected costs and raising of insurance rates. No exact quote on price was ever provided, even after repeat attempts to get a price. We had agreed on the 10k depreciation value, with a 11k upfront cost. 21k for a roof job is not bad. To then get my settlement check and they claimed they were owed all of it (it was 22k), claiming they did all sorts of additional work needed to the roof that i did not approve for (meaning my insurance paid for it and my rate will go up). They charged my insurance altogether 33k for a standard roof job. I had been quoted by other companies for the entire roof job for about 20k. To top it off, they ruined my house siding and they said it was not part of the insurance or what they cover causing me additional requiring additional out-of-pocket expenses. Even my insurance company said Linear Roofing was constantly bugging them to get more money out of them for the claim. Do not use them for insurance claims. They'll over charge and it will cost you in the long run on your monthly payments. They left a mess outside my house, they gave me a hard time when I tried to cancel the contract and or push the date and they eventually said it was too late to push the date to start the project. These guys are pros and working on getting money. They do not care about customer service, they only care about getting their money. Avoid them, especially David (he's very professional, and very nice, he does not care what you want, he will politely insist and push on starting the job and getting paid). read more

I had to write this post because I'm so impressed with our roofer. He's a young man that I met 4 years ago while he was a GM at our gym. Amildo Briceno is now a Project Manager at Linear Roofing. Not only did his crew do an incredible job on my house that has a scary high pitch, but they left my house and yard pristine. He dealt almost 100% with my insurance company for me, and his communication and follow up skills are unmatched in a young man that is only 22 years old! He does what he says he's going to do and he does it in a timely, professional and friendly manner. He's like family to me and I just had to let everyone know. Linear Roofing has been the best roofing contractor experience we've had in the 16 years and 4 roofs in this neighborhood. read more

Mark at Linear Roofing was instrumental in working with our dishonest insurance company in order to get a new roof on our home in Cedar Park, Texas. Our insurance tried denying our claim multiple times, but Mark was relentless in his efforts. Our neighborhood was hit by severe hailstorms and a new roof was needed and this was our first claim in 12 years of owning this property. We have referred him to two of our neighbors and they are equally as impressed by Linears commitment to quality work, efficiency, and follow-up. read more

They will over-promise and under-deliver to get the contract. We were told all the work from hail damage could be completed with insurance $$ +our deductible. All damage was NOT completed, but still billed us for entire insurance settlement + our deductible. We had to spend additional out-if-pocket for siding repairs. I was very happy with my experience re Linear Roofing. Garett Howell Senior Project Manager explained the process clearly, he worked directly with Allstate, Linear crews were on time, work was completed in one day and clean up was good. I have a giant "No soliciting" sign on my door and after they finished my neighbors roof they knocked repeatedly, waking up my toddler and then told me they saw the sign but wanted to give me a card anyway. Good project managers, flawed back office operations and horrible owners who make promises but don't follow up. Do not recommend and if you still wish to engage them, do so with caution, understanding that a company is tested when things don't go as planned. Linear roofing was a company I engaged 8/21/20 for a roof replacement and initially were getting great marks across the board. They didn't complete the job as planned, and the lack of a roof resulted in significant damage to my home during a storm in the middle of their installation. They initially started to say the right things and so I paid them each time an invoice was provided. When I submitted reimbursement claims, they initially agreed to pay, but never reimbursed me for out of pocket expenses. Today 3/18/21, I suddenly received a past due invoice when I have not had any responses from them in months. Their accounting is also flawed as my checks that they deposited are not reflected on their invoice and they don't want to make payments to me that they agreed to in writing for repairs caused by the damage they did by not completing the roof install and tarping the roof. This was the straw that broke the camel's back and prompted me to now leave a negative review where previously, they tried their best and I was sympathetic and willing to work with them to resolve issues. read more

Where do I start. Horrible company. Will harass you for a quote even though I told them 4x we already have a Roofing company. I had multiple roofers inspect my roof and while all said I needed a new roof, Demetris Ford from Linear Roofing was "the only" one that explained that the first "no" from my insurance company was not necessarily the "final" no. I had no idea. He explained the process of challenging the denial and assisted in the process from day one until completion and my new roof was installed and covered by my insurance company. It took a little over six months but the result was a new roof covered by my insurance company. This was above and beyond. They arrived on time the morning of install and roof was completed timely and clean up was thorough. The process was explained in detail and proceeded exactly as he explained. Used them for a high-end roof and gutter replacement. Very regret, low quality of roof work and does not honor promise. (1) When signing the contract, did not give price based upon the scope of work but ask for all the payment from insurance and deduction; (2) Even with such a contract, still does not honor agreement, tried to do much less - I would have to fight upon one item after another to get them done, or get it half way done. (3) Low quality of roof work - denied installation mistake when the ridge shingle was installed only one layer, use storm as excuse, but there is no storm damage; (4) When the installation damage the flush sealant, deny to admit and fix. To be more specific, below work has not done based upon the contract and agreement: (1) Flush (between wall and roof) damaged sealant repair; (2) Gutter screen not complete; (3) Concrete crack filling not complete; (4) Ventilation cap replacement; (5) About 10 feet ridge mistakenly installed single layer. read more

We reached out to Linear Roofing for an estimate to get our roof replaced. Juan and his team showed up and was able to break down the process. Brandon Brock, Project Manager, Linear Roofing General Contractors, LLC, provided excellent service and oversight on repairs after hail damage to my home. He was well-organized and thorough. He kept me well-informed of the process. He began with a comprehensive inspection and presented an estimate for repair of all damages: roofing, gutters, window screens, and fence. I was offered an upgrade in roofing material, but no pressure. Brandon monitored the insurance company inspection and adjuster's communications. He was on-site on while roof was removed and replaced. He advocated for me to assure that I was pleased with the job. Rain gutters, window screens, fence re-stain - all top-notch. *LINEAR ROOFING - STAY AWAY from them. I would not recommend using them unless you are prepared to pay out of pocket.* This may be just my experience but thought it may help others. Hello All - - This is a perfect example of over promise and under deliver. They got me into the roof replacement saying zero out of pocket expenses. They kept insisting the same till January this year (job was done in September 2022) and now saying that they cannot cover as it is not accepted by insurance company. Even their job was not up to the mark. they just replaced shingles only and said there is not need to replace the frame under that, but still charged for that. The lightening arrestor re-install costed lot more than the original installation.. Just bringing this up so that you will be careful with them in the future. There are guys Ethan and Mike perfect salesmen to sell the job saying zero out of pocket, but changed their story saying that it will be a small out of pocket in my case a significant amountI. They promised they have a great back office but it's all to get your job.. read more

I would not recommend Summit and Linear Roofing. This was not a good experience at all. To begin with, I was constantly reminded that I needed to pay my deductible which was fine. So I expected all of the work to be done. They just painted my garage door which was done poorly and didn't replace the door. If I'm expected to do my part then they should to but if they were going to do like other roofers then let me know. Next, the gutter company did not replace my leaf covers on the side of my house like I had before and I only noticed when I had to put my solar light back up, which they didn't do. Very poor work. I would not recommend this company at all. Go with a company that your neighbors have years of success and experience with. I even called and tried speaking with someone and they NEVER called back. read more

Linear Roofing is a licensed general contractor in Texas. I checked their reviews on BBB, Yelp, and NextDoor before calling for inspection. Tom Daman was the project manager for my roofing job. He was very thorough on everything: inspection, presentation, working with the insurance adjuster, attention to detail on specifications, scheduling and completing the work timely and efficiently, thoroughness, and cleanup. The entire operation was very efficient and communication was outstanding! The crews were on time and did excellent work on roof, gutters, sheet rock & painting. I have seen the level of customers service this company demands from its people. They have a high standard of Excellence. Their process is amazing. When our homeowners insurance would not pay for a repair, and had two claims for the same thing opened, linear came out, fought our insurance helping us pay only one deductible. Short story is we have a new roof, inside is fixed and only had to deal with one person. Linear handled all the other contractors involved, the roofer, tile guys, painters, sheet rock guys, gutter guys. The list goes on and on. I can't tell you how great it feels for this group of men to show up to inspect your home. All in nice blue shirts, they were focused and executed a plan that left my home beautiful. I own two properties that were damaged by the hurricane . My rental house was the first one to get done. As soon as the insurance gave the go ahead to proceed, they got the job done and everything was done very professionally and I can not say enough how it was orchestrated by Jason Tooley. Things were done just as they should have been. Two weeks ago, a different crew came to do the house I live in. This was a different story. After taking off the shingles they left. it was 9:30 at night so it was dark but I thought they would have come back to finish cleaning and getting their tarp which covered my pool, which unfortunately fell into the pool while they were removing the shingles. Jason came over and saw what a mess they had left and called the crew leader who said he would take care of it. in the mean time we had to turn the pool off, otherwise if the nails that were in the pool got sucked up we would have had major problems. Jason also took a metal rake around our yard and there was lots and lots of nails that had not been picked up and food wrappers and plastic bottles.A person showed up when we were not home and folded up the tarp and did nothing else. I figured someone would come so I did not bother Jason as it was the weekend. On Monday, Jason saw it had not been taken care of and even offered to clean it himself. He again notified the crew leader who did nothing. Jason called over 10 pool cleaners to come out and One did call me and even confirm this. My roof was done on a Wednesday and Friday night some men showed up to do something, needless to say I now have tar all over my pool floor. Jason Tooley did a great job but this last crew was terrible. read more

I had hail damage to the roof, vents and gutters. I had been getting around to getting it fixed, and was visited by a sales guy from Linear Roofing. I agreed to have them do the work, and they seemed know what they were doing, but they were sloppy, so sloppy that they put the safety of my family at risk. Besides, never really finishing, and leaving roofing materials that we had to clean up, they provided no help / room with the deductible and would not work with me (it was a $50,000 job). What is worse, after they finished, there was no walk through, although the sales guy said someone from the company inspected the roof. During the job, only workers were present and no one that we could communicate with. Finally, about 5 months later, I discovered that the exhaust pipes from two of our gas water heaters, had never been replaced. This means that the exhaust from the propane water heaters went directly into the attics where the water heaters were located. One of these was right behind my daughter's bedroom. Well I called the sales guy who originally badgered me and was only interested in getting his money, and he was arrogant and indignant. They did come by a few days later and re-attach the exhaust pipes so the exhaust would go up through the roof. But they acted like it was no big deal and happens all of the time. As far as I know, the roof was repaired properly, I guess. But the customer service and sloppiness put my family in danger. read more

Excellent Roofer. Just wanted to put out there we had our roof replaced by Linear Roofing, out of Irving. I have had a great experience with Terry Placker our contractor. Buyer beware! I can say that they replaced my roof and they did a good job. I still have not gotten the warranty paperwork to receipt but it is the "extras". I have a bad experience with this company! They came knocking on my door and they told me they would help me file the insurance claim and get a good estimate for my roof. I contacted my home insurance filed a claim and it turns out that they said my roof had no damage. But the contractors that came by had told me my roof was in terrible shape! so they had me going with the insurance for a long time and they never really gave me answer. The guy that was helping me said they would take action if the insurance didn't want to replace my roof that they would be able to help me out. The guy never called! I guess he saw no profit so he just didn't care!! So I decided to call a manager after a few months to see were I stood because they had promise to help. It turns out the contractor that was helping me wasn't even working for the company anymore. So he left me hanging never called didn't tell anybody about my case! I was so mad.. so I spoke to the manager and he said another contractor out to look at my roof! He came in my home and took many pictures! Then we did all the work again and they wanted me to file another claim when I already had one open!! I send them all the information I had gotten previously with the insurance so they could see were I stood!! The guy Enrique another contractor never called again. They knew that I had water coming in through the roof, he said he would help me get that covered! NEVER HAPPENED! I again send him a message about coming out or just to give me an update!
