There was only one waitress there, and she was running around like a crazy woman trying to take care of tables. Tables. She did a great job though so my hats off to her for making sure that every table felt like they were taken care of. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries, and a diet Coke. Because hey, I have to watch out for my girlish figure. The sandwich came out, as well as my drink right on time. And so I Dove right in. For starters, these were some of the best french fries I have ever had. I'm pretty sure they're using Lowry's seasoned salt on them, but I can't be sure. Whatever it was. They were super tasty and super crispy without having to be asked for them. Crispy The chicken sandwich itself was great, had a great buffalo sauce on it and had just the right amount of coleslaw and pickles. Every bite was a wonderful experience. I love finding cool new places that I can share with the world, and this is definitely one of them. If I am ever in the Post Falls area again, this will be one of my stops to get a bite to eat. Bottom line? If you are ever traveling through Idaho and find yourself in Post Falls, I would highly recommend you go to this place. The portions are HUGE, so when my mom was going to order a full salad, Jody wisely recommended the half-size--and it was still plenty! She had the cranberry salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh and delicious. And don't skip the garlic and onion bread with goat cheese and honey--such a great combination of savory and sweet! Honestly, the fish was so good it didn't even need tartar sauce, which is saying something. Their tartar sauce was outstanding too, but the fish easily stood on its own. My wife's meatloaf burger was just as impressive. Perfectly seasoned meatloaf, crispy onions, and cheese made for one hell of a burger. Definitely not your everyday burger, and she loved it. A big part of what made the visit memorable was our bartender, Dave. He was fantastic helping us with a couple specialty drinks and made sure we got exactly what we were looking for. We also found out Dave is an Air Force veteran, and he did us a solid by making sure we received the military discount. That kind of gesture means a lot and was greatly appreciated. They have other specials throughout the week like whisky Wednesday, 20% off all whiskey, taco Tuesday, three tacos for $9, and mimosa flights on weekends. The food is quite tasty, but I do wish the menu was bigger. More light fares like a pasta with a light sauce, or button mushrooms app, or more flatbreads to choose from would be great. The menu changes a little bit depending on the season, but they always have some good food on there. The bar has a bunch of good beers on tap. The digital golf course has the CdA resort course on there, so you can play the Coeur d'Alene Resort without having to pay an entire paycheck. I like this place. A lot.

I really do like their mixed cocktails--some huckleberry ones on the menu. Great beer selection with a few taps and many different canned beers. Nothing like watching the sunset from their patio too. Usually on weekends they will bring live music which is local artists who are very interactive with patrons. This place is a great spot. However, one of our group ordered a half sandwich and soup. It arrived as a whole sandwich and soup. The waitress served it and said it was her mistake and that he could have the whole sandwich but pay for half. Then a few minutes later, the waitress came back and said she spoke to the manager who said he would have to give her back a half of the sandwich! So he handed her a half of the sandwich! Super petty of the manager and embarrassing for the waitress. They can't resell it and most likely had to throw it away so what was the point? I will say that episode has become a funny story within our group.
