Nonetheless, our contact person Madeleine and her crew came out to assess our foundation and cracks and some mold from the humidity in the crawlspace. In the end we went with mold remediation, a sump pump, new vapor barrier, joist lifts, and air sealing to keep out the creepy crawlies. Big ticket expense, but when compared to the competition, we went with them because of the thoroughness with the estimate interview and the willingness to answer all of our questions, they were also well-spoken of on other review sites including a popular large community message board, and the price was pretty comparable. Also, the crew was very good. My only ding would be was not putting the items in the crawlspace back in the order that it was originally, which saved space. But to add to their credit, we have one additional project that needs to be done outside of Little Corner's scope and the new company took a look at Little Corner's work and said "They did a very good job, this is how we would have done it." I think that speaks well of them as a whole. They may not be the biggest company, but they are professional, kind, and diligent about their work. Thank you, Madeleine and crew.

When you crawl under your house to see why a floor is shaky and find a bunch of white fuzz on the…read morewood and crooked joists, you need someone to tell you their company does this kind of work and to convince you that they know what they are talking about. 6 companies called. 4 responded. 1 said its bad but he only cleaned mold and put down plastic. 1 said they could fix but had never done it before. 1 said that with an engineer and $20k to $30k he could fix it. Then Dennis at HHR came by. He said this is what they do. He showed me similar jobs he had done before and after. Told me how he would do it. What it would cost. They did the work. It was harder than they planned but they never mentioned more money. His team was very courteous and considerate. FYI... This is my first review ever. I'm 70.

I hired RC Waterproofing and Drainage LLC in October 2024 to address a recurring water intrusion…read moreissue in the northwest corner of my crawlspace during heavy rains. The proposed solution included interior and exterior excavation, installation of a perforated corrugated pipe with gravel, a PVC exit line, and cleanup. To be clear: that portion of the job was completed in a satisfactory manner over the course of two days. The issue arose at the very end of the project, when one of the owners, Rodrigo, attempted to leave without replacing the crawlspace's plastic moisture barrier -- something essential for preventing mold and maintaining a healthy environment under the home. Not only was the original barrier unnecessarily torn up during the work, but Rodrigo initially made no move to replace it. When I insisted, he suggested I upgrade to a more durable 12mil barrier due to high foot traffic in the area, and I agreed. At my request, since my original barrier was black, Rodrigo said he could order black 12mil plastic from his supplier and have it within a week. I offered to pay for the material, and he promised to return to install it at no additional labor cost. Before he left, I explicitly asked him if he would follow through or if I'd have trouble getting him back -- he looked me in the eye and assured me that he would return promptly once the material arrived. That was over six months ago. As of May 8th, 2025, the job is still not complete. I have reached out to Rodrigo at least 15 times, and every time I either received an excuse ("no one available," "too busy," "waiting on delivery") or was ignored outright. At this point, Rodrigo no longer answers my calls or messages at all -- I've been ghosted. Not only has this prevented me from completing the crawlspace and returning stored items, but it has also shown a blatant disregard for professionalism and basic customer service. If the plastic was truly ordered, it would not make sense for him to absorb a $300+ material cost and abandon the job. More likely, the material was never ordered at all, and I was strung along with empty promises. Bottom line: Do not pay RC Waterproofing and Drainage LLC in full until every aspect of the job is completed. Their work may be technically sound, but their follow-through is completely unreliable. Rodrigo's behavior has been deceptive, evasive, and unprofessional. Avoid the frustration and hire someone else who respects their customers and honors their commitments.
