Great Company! I really liked how they did a comprehensive overview of the house. I have little…read moreto no tolerance for water issues (water damage expense as well as mold issues). Based on my experience, any proactive issues you can take to avoid any water issues is money well spent. I love how they work with you to stay in your budget but help you to track issues you may see in the future. In our situation, we have a gutter issue that showed up when we had the recent monsoon rain. We're going to fix our gutters (clean them out) but will track a second issue (we also have an issue with the volume of our 2nd floor gutter pours onto our garage roof as the 2nd floor and the garage roof gutter handle the same volume of water which means that if we max out the 2nd floor gutter, the garage roof gutter will be overflowing). They also pointed out that they can fix issues with our porch setting (a common issue given that NC builder often throw all their trash under the porch then bury the trash when they finish their construction). There is an easy fix for that issue. Also, they can fix an issue with our cement driveway slab tilting though it is more expensive given the size of the slab. We'll address this later.

Jim Lindsley was professional, thorough and overall the best man for the job. We have a 1932 farm…read morehouse with old, deteriorated and broken, terracotta pipes that were originally placed to divert storm water from the home and foundation. Given the age of our home, and the poor state of said pipes, we had a major water issue with excess water in the yard, by the foundation and entering the basement. Lindsley developed several rounds of proposals that would fit our needs and budget and followed through with excellent work. A full team was at our home working for about 6 days and the end result is better than we could have ever anticipated. One major selling point for us was the warranty. We gathered many quotes and the sheer size of our job meant we were going to spend a lot no matter what. It was reassuring to have a Jim available to answer any questions and a project manager on site (Rodger) who checked in regularly throughout the project and made sure we were comfortable with everything that was happening. Overall this was a great experience! Highly recommend to anyone facing similar drainage issues.

Lindsley Waterproofing, Inc. did a job for me in 2002 with 15 helical piers, sump pump, etc. major…read morerepair! With our alternating extreme droughts and heavy rains, my house had a weak spot that continued to show movement. Jim Lindsley, true to his warranty, monitored the movement regularly and made some adjustments to the piers. Finally this year we discovered the horrible fact that the weak spot did not have a pier supporting it. Digging through the paper work from the past, I discovered the engineer's report which recommended 15 piers as compared to Jim's original plan of 13, focused mainly on the north end of the house where the big sinking was going on. The engineer had spread out the placement of the piers, but sadly left the weakest spot unsupported. I had ordered this engineer's report to be safe, but what cruel irony that his plan was wrong! Jim's original drawing would have protected my house so much better. I am sorry Jim gave in to the engineer's plan, but when you consider that now all these jobs are supposed to have an engineer's report, it puts the foundation companies in a hard place--look at this example. I recognize that there are many excellent engineers, but it's like the doctor joke: what do you call the lowest ranking student among the medical school graduates? "Doctor." Sometimes the people on the job with the experience DO know more than the "experts." In my case the engineer gets by with no consequences whatsoever. I'm the one who has to pay the higher price for the repair, but Jim Lindsley is giving me a discount for his part in the mistake of having followed the engineer's plan instead of his instincts. I find this honorable and decent. - Cecilia E. April 24. 2017

Nonetheless, our contact person Madeleine and her crew came out to assess our foundation and cracks and some mold from the humidity in the crawlspace. In the end we went with mold remediation, a sump pump, new vapor barrier, joist lifts, and air sealing to keep out the creepy crawlies. Big ticket expense, but when compared to the competition, we went with them because of the thoroughness with the estimate interview and the willingness to answer all of our questions, they were also well-spoken of on other review sites including a popular large community message board, and the price was pretty comparable. Also, the crew was very good. My only ding would be was not putting the items in the crawlspace back in the order that it was originally, which saved space. But to add to their credit, we have one additional project that needs to be done outside of Little Corner's scope and the new company took a look at Little Corner's work and said "They did a very good job, this is how we would have done it." I think that speaks well of them as a whole. They may not be the biggest company, but they are professional, kind, and diligent about their work. Thank you, Madeleine and crew.

We just bought our first home and did not fully realize the extent of issues in our crawlspace. After fixing the drainage issues from outside, we had them come in and finish everything off. Taking on such an expense after putting so much money into buying a house was so anxiety producing. Caesar answered my bajillion questions and never seemed irritated or bothered. He responded so quickly. I feel like there should've been a line item on my quote for "world's most annoying customer who asks so many questions." Caesar and his crew were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up every single day. We did our job in two stages. Over two he did the inside French drain, removed vapor barrier, nasty insulation, installed the sump pump where it should've been installed to begin with, mold remediation, and got a dehumidifier installed. We had to go out of town right after this happened and he was so kind to go over and check our crawlspace during a rain to make sure that we 100% fixed our outside drainage issues once we saw that we solved our outside problems, he came back today and finished the full encapsulation. It is perfect. I can finally breathe and start to enjoy my new home. Thank you so much and sorry for all my questions lol I will sing this company's praises for as long as I can!
