The service was great from everyone who worked there. First I had my massage with Carolyn, and it was hands-down, the best massage of my life. There is nothing I hate more than a massage where you feel more tightness because they didn't work the spot enough or with enough pressure. She was sure to work thoroughly, and it paid off, I felt a million times better than when I walked in. Then I had a facial with MaryAnn, and she was excellent as well! I am a super nerd so I like to understand the process, and MaryAnn explained each step to me, why they use certain things, how it helps, etc. They also told us of several specials they are currently offering, or will be in the coming months, which is great considering how expensive it can be to pamper yourself! If I had not had that bad experience, this would be a 4 star, maybe 5 star review. But I am moderating it based on what I experienced in the past, while keeping an open mind for raising it in the future. Rosibel was my stylist for my haircut. She did a great job all around. My shampoo was relaxing, I could see her focused on getting my hair right while she did the actual cutting, and her blow dry styling was wonderful. Even my husband noticed, and he doesn't really pick up on that stuff. I was so happy with how my hair looked, it felt like a shame that I was just going home, haha. I wanted to show it off, and that is not my typical post-haircut mood.

Not sure of the nail polish brand but I love the color! She used the electric file head tool to do my cuticles and they came out amazing without all of the cutting and pulling. I got a hand mask and paraffin treatment and my hands are sooo soft! The massage (while in paraffin) was really great. The price wasn't too bad because I had 30% off the gel manicure and 25% off the hand mask treatment. Before the sales I think it should've been $42 but I only paid $29!! I know they're a new place so they have to organize everything and put the final touches on the salon but I strongly recommend.

Since that first time, I have been in every couple of months for one person in particular: Amy, the aesthetician of my dreams. Amy is my guru, my hero, my Yoda. When I first came in, I had (with all of the best of intentions) completely destroyed my skin. I had been using various products I knew very little about in an attempt to treat my acne which had actually happened as a result of the astringent products I was using making my face extremely sensitive! To hide this from others I was piling foundation and concealer onto my face, which prevented any kind of healing. Amy knew instantly what was wrong and had all sorts of recommendations to make. Every day my skin looks better, and each time I go to Kristin's her smile shows me how drastic the change has been. In fact, with the exception of a tinted SPF I have been using, I have almost completely ceased to use make-up. I don't need it! My skin is incredible! Although everyone at Kristin's will make your day and make you feel fabulous, I cannot recommend Amy's services highly enough. I had a baby and wanted to give myself a little mommy makeover, my hairs blonde and I just wanted highlights and wax, tint and lamination on my brows.. the woman never returned my call back about my hair so I just kept my appointment for wax, tint and lamination.. I walked in and stood there for 5 minutes while people working there were looking at me but not saying anything, the girl was nice however was 30 minutes late to start, whatever no big deal it happens. The wax lamination and tint lasted an hour and a half.. I'm pretty sure the girl was under the influence of something by the way she spoke and looked like she was nodding off. She WAXED HALF MY EYEBROWS OFF! this was my first time doing lamination and tint, i told her I wanted a natural and full look, pictures do not do it justice. You can see from the tan lines how much hair was waxed and taken off. I haven't had my eyebrows waxed in over a year, so my lashes were super full and thick... it doesn't look like the tint or lamination worked at all, I notice no difference other then half my eyebrows missing.
