Went in for a gel manicure, I think it was their soft opening because they were still setting a lot of things up in the salon. Other than finishing setting up stuff and taking a little extra time to find everything they needed for the manicure - my experience was awesome and my nails came out great! Not sure of the nail polish brand but I love the color! She used the electric file head tool to do my cuticles and they came out amazing without all of the cutting and pulling. I got a hand mask and paraffin treatment and my hands are sooo soft! The massage (while in paraffin) was really great. The price wasn't too bad because I had 30% off the gel manicure and 25% off the hand mask treatment. Before the sales I think it should've been $42 but I only paid $29!! I know they're a new place so they have to organize everything and put the final touches on the salon but I strongly recommend. read more

I was a regular at Coco nail spa and primarily got pedicures. The salon is clean and quiet. However a few months back when Covid rates were quite high, they did not follow NYS rules on masking. There was a women not wearing a mask seated next to me so I asked the attendant to skip the massage and just polish my toes. I didn't say why but I was going on vacation the next day and didn't want to get sick. The woman verbally attacked me and the staff did nothing. Tried to get an anc manicure today. I went here when they first opened and got an anc. It was lumpy and didn't last two weeks. But I thought that was because they had just opened and I had to rush them because I needed to leave by at a certain time. Today I decided to try to get an anc. There were 2 people getting pedicures and 1 getting a manicure. They sat me down right away and wrapped my old anc with acetone. The man that set me left me sitting alone and a woman came over to check my color choices but didn't check my fingers (then left me alone). After waiting about 20 minutes a new customer walk walked in and the woman that checked my colors began to do a full set of acrylics on the new customer. There was no mention of when I would be helped or if I was skipped because the new customer had an appointment. So after 30 minutes I removed the cotton balls and wrap myself. The anc was basically melted off so I washed my hands and asked how much I owed. One of the employees said to me you need to wait 15-20 minutes for the anc to come off. I said I've already waited 30 minutes. So I left five dollars on the counter. I know I was there that long because I had called my hubby before I went in because I forgot something at home. I called him when I left to let him know I was on the way home. read more

I went in and told them I was there for an appointment and they took 2 people before me that came in after me that did not say they had an appointment. Since they just opened, this was my first time visiting Coco. I am really picky when it comes to my nails, and after changes at the place I had been going to for years, I was looking for a new place, and I have found it! Coco, the owner, did my nails and my toes and did a fabulous job! This is the first place I have been to where they add touches like a paraffin dip, hot towel on your neck and a neck massage without adding on to the price for every additional item! I have "powder" done on my nails and I was excited that they had sets of matching powder and polish. I really like my nails and toes to match, but locally it is hard to find places that actually have matching sets. The other technicians working in the salon, were very friendly (and it was genuine friendliness). Also, everything is incredibly clean, and things are not reused from customer to customer, everything is disposable! I will certainly be returning to Coco. read more

Lovely place, extremely clean, nicely decorated. I got a gel manicure over my natural nails and I think it's my favorite manicure I've ever had! The young lady who did my nails did not speak English but her boss(I think) translated what I wanted for her. She did an excellent job, exactly what I asked for. I like that she took the color right back to my cuticles and was very gentle when filing. Sometimes I feel like other salons will kind of cheat the color and leave a lot of my nail bed undone so that I have to come back sooner because it looks more grown out. You definitely need an appointment here on a Saturday because it was packed. Some walk-ins had to leave while I was there. read more

This was my first time coming here and the owner did a horrible job on my nails and after asking her to fix them several times I was fed up and just wanted to get out of there! I went there today. I was beyond disappointed. First the items she used to file my nails were pulled from a small tin box. When I asked her if they were sanitized she had no idea what I was talking about. I tried to explain and I think in desperation she nodded and said yes. When she used a nail file, instead of the nice big ones, she used a tiny one that had clearly been used many times and was beyond its effective date. While I sat and let my nails dry I had the pleasure of looking at a dirty towel with all my nail clippings and dust on it, she never cleaned up. I should not have stayed to begin with. That's on me. The ANC I had done was "ok". Nothing compared to my other girl who had to leave to go back home overseas. Now the search is on for me to find another nail tech. This was not the place and with the pandemic still a concern, it is not clean and things are NOT sanitized. I also didn't see any sanitizer sitting around. If you are smart you will stay clear of this operaton. read more

Worse pedicure ever (totally different from the first time I went). Gal was too busy looking at what was going on up front, instead of what she was doing. Had to try three bottles of polish to get one that would go on smooth. The others appeared lumpy and dry. I called that night to tell them they were chipped, cut different lengths and bumpy. Said I could get them redone. I passed, didn't care to go back. Took polish off last night (had been done 8/1) and stopped in to show her my nails after a doctor visit that day, and told by my doc, this was not normal... bumpy, the top of my actual nails peeling, splitting, just a mess. She said I left my polish on too long, should be taken off one- two weeks. Who pays for a pedicure and takes the polish off in a week?). Said that's very normal. Offered to buff them with some machine, but said it would ruin my nails. Took a picture of my toes (which tells me they didn't look normal). She was persistent that everyone's nails including hers, looks peeled and bumpy when polish is removed. Mine never had before. She lost several customers by not just admitting it was a botched job. I asked for a refund, after seeing how horrible my nails looked, and she said no, it had been a month. Until I removed the polish, I thought it was just a bad polish job, but the mess was whatever the inexperienced girl had done to my nails. Will be telling those I suggested try them, not to! DO NOT GO HERE! My friends and I had a horrible experience here. We made an appointment at 11 am. The girl did tell us to bring cash and we did so. As soon as we walked in the girl greeted us and asked for our name. We told her we had an 11 am appointment for 3 people. She was looking at the paper and talking to her other coworkers and kept asking for the name. She looked at us like we were speaking another language. Then the girl told us to pick a color and go to the pedicure side. I knew what I wanted to get done but my 2 other friends didn't. so one of my friends was looking at the ANC color and the other one was looking at the gel colors and the nail tech came up and told her that gel colors are over here pointing to the gel colors and she kept saying that over like 3 times like come on were human she was looking at the colors and she knew she wanted ANC. ANYWAYS my friend went to get her pedicure done and my other friend and I were getting our nails done. the guy was nice but the way he did my nails was soo unprofessional. Now I work in a professional environment never in my 4 years of getting my nails done have someone finished my nails that quick. he didn't even clean my cuticles or drilled my nails neatly on top of that I showed him a picture of the design I wanted and I simply asked if he would be able to do that design on my nail. I did not hear a yes I can or I won't be able to. like I'm human I would've understood if he couldn't. while I was getting my nails done i overheard my friend telling her nail tech that one of her nails was crooked and the nail tech told her that her fingers are crooked and it is okay and she kept doing her nails. While my other friend was waiting to get her pedicure done she was texting me how they haven't attended her yet. Now I got my nails done at like 1140 and I went to the pedicure side. and she was still waiting. i understand they were busy yes indeed they were busy but we also had an appointment at 11 am it should not have taken them so long to attend a customer. While I sat there waiting for someone to attend me. I waited there for an hour. my friends and I began looking at each other like did they forget about us or something. my other friend was waiting to get her mani done so I told her to go up there and tell her you been sitting there and they nail tech told her she needs to wait 45 mins like seriously it is already 1245 we made an app. at 11 am why does she need to wait 30 mins to get her nail done if she was there before many more customers. so she left. Their atmosphere is clean but their service sucks. i don't know how they got 4 and a half stars on their page. I think they faked it. never going there again. people are paying their own money to get something done nicely not a run down nail job that looks like crap. this salon only wanted the money from clients they did sloppy jobs on my friend and I nails. wonder how many more people they did sloppy nails jobs to. honestly my opinion I think salons who do bad service should be shut down and those nail techs should go back to their training school and get retaught on things. on top of that, that one girl who was rude to my friends should learn how to speak to customers the right way. I'm sure she was not raised that way. Anyways they robbed themselves at the end of the day because I got both mani and Pedi done and I only got charged for a manicure. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!
