My dogs skin after first visit!!
    Veronica T.

I posted a pic of my dogs skin, he was literally skinned on his scrotum. I called thinking it was just razor burn idk how he barely has hair as it is, and the front desk woman assured me he was sensitive. Took him to the vet, no he was skinned. Funny that the front desk woman didn't even ask the groomer about it who clearly is at fault and didn't report her mistake my poor baby!!!! Defenseless animal can't express to me what happened and she took advantage of that!!! Sick!!!!! Nice bill I had but it's fine will not come back period keep your money!!!

I am writing this review on behalf of my dog kimbo...I have always been so happy wit the work Kathy at Linda's has done on my dog buddy as from the previous photos...but I can't sit here all quiet anymore about what happened to my dog kimbo...his balls were injured while getting his sanitary area done...they r denying what they did to him but I'm vigilant n take pictures before n after my dogs get groomed as shown wit my buddy boy...I have talked to a lawyer about it n I have a case pending against this shop...DO NOT bring ur dog n allow destiny to groom them...she hurt my baby...he was uncomfortable for days n after I brought him back for Kathy to look at they denied any wrongdoing...I have been bringing my dogs there for grooming for 2 years n I will never ever bring either of my dogs there again not even for nail trimming...I wasn't n am not looking for free services or anything from this place I'm jus looking for reimbursement for his discomfort...his manhood was hurt...u men out there can relate if u manscape n nick ur sack...I have told all my friends and family do not bring ur dog there anymore cuz they don't care if they hurt ur animals for chump change If I could give a minus review I would...something that was only 10 bucks turned into something way bigger

Just having a conversation with Linda and how knowledgeable she is, convinced me to keep my new puppy appointment. Thank you on behalf of Buddy .

This was my first time bringing Olive to Linda's. It was easy to make an appointment, in fact, they had one available for the next day! When we arrived they had her name on the welcome marquee! So cute! The groomer took the time to ask and clarify how I wanted her cut and was receptive to my requests. It only took a couple hours and Olive came out looking great! The cut was perfect and they were nice enough to add a bandana and matching bow. The most important thing is that Olive didn't come out stressed. She seemed totally herself. I will definitely bring her back in the future.

SO HAPPY with the lion cut that was given to my cat Angel. Eve was the groomer and she did such a great job. I used to take my cat to my vet tech at my former veterinarians office. But once I left that vets office I needed to find a place to groom my cat because my new vets office doesn't provide that service. I came across Linda's Critter Corral on here. The price is very reasonable, the service is very prompt, and my cat looks so cute I can't stand it. And in typical cat fashion my cat is not happy with all the hugs and kisses I want to give her because of her cuteness. She even had a small little bow on the top of her head. That made me laugh. My cat not so much. LOL WILL DEFINITELY be bringing my cat back.

So accommodating! And wonderful care for our neurotic boxer, Marley! He's very skittish, but loves it there.

REPOST: original post was deleted…read more My boyfriend and I took Archer, our 1 year old Bernese mtn/Pitbull mix to Kissable Paws July 9th for the first time. Right off the bat, Maria (the owner) was patient with us as Archer would not go inside. I came in to tell her that we would just cancel the appointment as there was no way we can get him in. Maria came outside and tried everything she could to get him in. But with no luck. Archer did like her so that was a good thing. We were recommended to give him a calming meds and rescheduled for the following week. Prior to Kissable Paws, we were taking Archer to Petco for his grooming needs. The last few times were not successful as Archer was more than scared like he was terrified to go inside like something bad had happened. So glad we found Kissable Paws, Maria and her assistant Julia. They are the most patient people and I'm glad that Archer is comfortable with them! Our second try was every bit successful! Maria was ready and she got Archer inside. He saw that there was nothing to be scared of and he got so excited, he just wanted to go in the waiting area with the other cute doggies! As for the grooming itself, Maria has a lot of experience taking care of difficult dogs that other groomers simply reject. She was able to wash him, cut his nails, dry him and trim him (in places other groomers couldn't!) Maria and Julia took care of Archer in a loving and patient way that my boyfriend and I truly appreciated. Kissable Paws is definitely our exclusive grooming salon! Will 100% recommend them to everyone we know with doggies and cats (which we will definitely have to come in and bring them one of these days) :)

I spent last month in NC with my dogs, and while I was there I got his nails done and they barely cut them at all! Most of his nails are clear and his quicks aren't that long so I'm not sure why there was such a difference between the results, but we went back to Kissable Paws two days ago and his nails are back to their normal length now. We were also in and out in under 10 minute which was great.

First off, I need to preface this by saying that I did NOT purchase a dog or any other animal here…read more I already have two wonderful dogs, both of them rescues from local shelters. I've noticed that most of the negative reviews are about animal purchases, so I just wanted to put that out there up front :-) I am reviewing the products and store experience as well as the Pet Spa located in their Lynn location. I recently found this place and I'm glad I did because they carry the dry food that I use for my pups (Evo), and they are a 5 minute drive from my house, so I no longer have to make 20-30 minute drives into Boston to get pet food. Yes, I am kind of a food snob when it comes to feeding my dogs -- nothing but the best for them, and if you are a good pet owner and do your research about pet food, you will find out that brands like Iams, Science Diet, etc., are NOT good dog food brands. Of course, your dog will eat them, but that's just because they don't know better. Please, be kind to your dogs and help extend their life and improve their health by feeding them premium, quality dog food. Pet Express carries a lot of the 'better' brands -- in addition to Evo, there's California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova, etc. They don't just carry dry and wet food, but also organic and healthy dog treats (my dogs' favorite is Zuke's) as well as toys, chews, rawhides. etc. Now, don't get me wrong, this stuff is all more expensive than the stuff you'd find at a Petco or PetSmart, but like I said, it's worth it. I love the variety of brands they carry, and though more expensive than non-premium stuff, the prices are fair and reasonable for the product. The store is also very nicely organized and clean, two things I can really appreciate. We also brought our two dogs here to be groomed in their Pet Spa. Please note that they don't groom on Sundays and as you can imagine, they're quite busy on Saturdays (and are closed by 6pm during weekdays), so call ahead if you want a Saturday appointment. Neither of our dogs have long hair that needs grooming, so we got them both baths, and they had their ears and bum cleaned, and their nails clipped. They both came out smelling nice and fresh, with cute bandannas tied around their necks, looking as happy as can be. The groomer commented on how well behaved they were, and I was glad to hear they were happy the whole time they were there. if you are a first-time customer, bring your vet papers with you, because you will need to show proof that your animal has all the requisite shots in order to be groomed. The cost varies per dog, but we paid $38 for our larger dog and $32 for our smaller dog. Of course, it is impossible to walk into the store without being immediately drawn to their wall of adorable puppies. I felt bad for them, watching them run around and get all excited in their glass enclosures. It breaks my heart that they have to be in there, but I know they will all find homes eventually, so that eases my heart a little. The staff here is also friendly and helpful. We like coming here and bringing the dogs with us. We let them sniff around and "choose" their own treats, and the staff is always friendly with them, giving them belly rubs and treats.
