I found his office on Yelp and I can say I have no complaints about the dental work. In the beginning, the front desk staff seemed to have a lot of turnover but recently it runs like a well oiled machine. My son recognized him as a dentist who made a visit to his school to talk about teeth and it's very easy to see why he's so popular with the little ones. But I've never had such a difficult time to schedule/reschedule an appointment before. I always feel like I have to take time off work or pull my son out of school or wait another month or more. Their hours are terrible. The 7am Fridays would be great if we lived closer but we'd have to leave even earlier to get through traffic and then there's no guarantee we'd be finished in an hour to get to school on time. 2pm closure on Fridays is crazy. And they close at 3pm on Tuesdays and 5pm on the other days. They are always booked solid so good luck if your child gets sick.

I had a terrible dental experience Prior to finding Dr. Shen's office. Fast forward to two weeks ago and I had a MAJOR toothache and decided I HAD to deal with it. I drove past the office and decided to call. They got me in the same day I called and I made sure they knew how nervous I was. They couldn't of been nicer! I went in thinking I would have to have my tooth pulled (it just hurt so bad I couldn't imagine another option) Dr. Hoang and Dr. Shen looked at they x-ray of my tooth and asked if I was sure I wanted them to pull it? They said it could be saved with a root canal. I was thrilled and told them to go for it. About 2 hours later I walked out feeling much better. I told them about my previous dental experience and they told me they could see that I had some work that needed to be done but said it doesn't need to be all done at once and we can do it little by little. I went back this week for a regular check up and cleaning. They did full x-rays and found a cavity that the previous dentist had told me I needed a root canal on. Dr. Shen said it was close, but felt a big filing would be fine, and they fixed it. Not only are they efficient, friendly, & compassionate, but they are honest and I truly appreciate it. For the first time in years I am happy to be going to the dentist!

The front desk woman is friendly and will help with insurance questions. The area is right across from Target. Street parking is tight but there is a small lot for the business which has space for four cars and another handicap space. Most spaces are open when I've been there so you shouldn't have a problem with parking. Dr. Shen doesn't really practice anymore but I met with Dr. Chou and she was great! She gave me the most thorough cleaning I've EVER had. My mouth was kind of sore after because she spent so much time on my teeth. Highly recommend!
