Avoid this place like the plague all the doctor cares about is money if she see that you have good insurance she's going to try to max out your insurance as fast as possible you go in for one thing you get a set price and come in for the work and the price changes on top of not getting what you want . this is the second time I went to this place for one thing and the doctor tries to manipulate you into getting something else. The women in there are extremely immature. It almost reminds me of high school a bunch of girls who don't know how to control their emotions, including the doctor. Pay attention to what you're paying for because if you don't look at those papers, you'll sign something without knowing how much you are getting price gouged the doctor laid me down in a chair numb my face up then came in, Hey this is what you're paying for and that's not what we agreed upon my last visit. soon as I walked in the building, they like here sign here without telling me what work they're actually doing then I get in the chair and they're doing work that I don't need. I came for a crown and they're trying to sell me on a bridge $4000 extra on something that's not important. The important part was the crown that's what I originally went there for and they're selling me a bridge on a separate tooth. The world is already bad enough. Everything is expensive. You would think the dentist was honest and you'd be mistaken. All they care about is money. All this doctor cares about is maxing out your insurance. she told me herself oh, you have good insurance. Next thing you know your insurance is maxed out. You can't get any more work done for the rest of the year. this doctor is very money hungry and if you have any disputes on the work that she's doing, she becomes rude and impatient. I was five minutes late to an appointment and instead of them canceling the appointment and just telling me to come back another day, I get in the chair and the doctors reminding me that I was late having an attitude about it. What kind of professionalism is that if you didn't want to do the work for me being late just don't do it. Don't have me in the chair and talk to me like I'm your child for being late. We are all adults and I'm paying for your services but go see for yourself. She's gonna talk to you real nice in the beginning, but if you have any disputes on the work that she's doing, you'll see her true attitude it's ridiculous. I'm extremely disappointed but should have known there's no honesty in the world today everyone is trying to get over in someway or another. Nobody has passion for their work anymore. All they care about is money and it's a shame I work hard. I have good insurance and I can't even trust a doctor to do honest work without judgment I honestly think this is the last time I will go to a female doctor this experience was awful .the love of money is the root to all evil and that couldn't be more true you see people true colors when money is involved even the dentist. I don't even know to begin! Well, I was referred to Dr. Hosseini by her brother at San Leandro Braces. For my first appointment, I thought she went above and beyond during my examination compared to the many previous visits at the other dental offices. I've probably been to 4 different dentist offices in the last 2 years because I was still soul searching for the right one. She took many images (not just xrays) of my teeth which was never offered at the previous offices for better visual instead of describing it verbally. However, this review is mainly for my visit regarding my wisdom tooth extraction. I expected the most uncomfortable pain that was similar to the wisdom teeth extraction I had years ago. I was in and out of the office within 45 mins, including the time to reschedule for my next appointment. If I remember accurately, she spent approx. 10 mins to numb my mouth and WOW, it was extremely painless. Then she spent another 15 mins to extract the tooth. The entire time, she would constantly ask if there were any pain. I felt light pressure but it was very tolerable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

First they told me my insurance coverage was not covered, to only to find out a few days later that it was AFTER I CALLED BACK TO ASK the day before my appointment. Second occurrence, on the day of my appointment that I waited 1 month for, was pushed out an hour and only to find out they wanted to completely cancel it prior to me arriving to the dental office. i've been going to the same dentist for 28 years and he retired. (this was tuff because he was amazing and up front about all cost.) This is where I was referred to, at first things were going great, had my cleaning and xrays, found some problems that needed fixing. I never received a quote, until the day of my procedure. I was shocked at what it was going to cost, and how they wanted % money up front. in all the years I've gone to the Dentist I never paid anything upfront.it was after treatment was complete and insurance paid their portion of the statement and then I would receive a bill to pay my part. That is not the problem. I do have insurance, this office is not very transparent, make sure to get all your quotes upfront in writing so there's no shell shock when you do go there and they decide to come up with a treatment plan. (I recently went to a different Dentist and she gave me 3 different options to fix my issue) I definitely was not given any options to what could be done to fix my teeth, I had no idea that it was gonna cost that much until the day of the procedure. Be careful here! pay attention to your billing, get quotes make sure you get them in writing before, not the day of procedures. And don't make the mistake I did and ask other people (my sister who was trying the same dentist) we have similar issues. her quote was way different then what they quoted me I could understand a few hundred dollars difference but the difference was $ 650.00 and she doesn't have insurance. I've been going to Top Pinole Dental for a couple of months now and I'm absolutely grateful for their dental care. I just moved to Pinole so I checked local dentists and I'm glad I chose here. The recepetionist was friendly (as she always is) and they accepted my dental insurance and were able to quickly get me an appointment for my assessment. I have had gum issues throughout my life and Dr. Hosseini gave me great instructions and tips to help me improve my dental hygiene.
