Most importantly, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Schlossberg. He makes me feel comfortable, genuinely listens to my concerns, and explains everything in clear, everyday language that is easy to understand. He never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. Dr. Schlossberg has such a warm, light filled spirit and calming presence that immediately puts people at ease. That quality, combined with his compassion and professionalism, makes him an exceptional doctor. I am incredibly grateful to be under his care and would highly recommend him and the entire NYOH team.

The medical assistants and nurses take their time with communicating with us both to make sure our information is updated and accurate so that Ginny (Virginia Larner, PA-C) can provide the best medical and wellness advice to maintain our reasonably good health. They also are in consistent communication with our specialists which also is a great help. We've had doctors in the past that were pill pushers and appeared to always be in a hurry to get us in and out with a prescription. Finally, we have found a health care provider that we are 100% pleased with.

Second, this location has nothing but terrible reviews, which put me off from going even though this location is by far the closest (within walking distance). My laziness got the better of me today and I couldn't be bothered to go elsewhere, so I went to the 200 Broadway location for the first time and it was GREAT. I needed Plan B. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful from the start and I was seen right away, the process was quick, and I wasn't charged a thing. At other locations, I've had to pay $10, which is still cheaper than $50 at CVS, but more expensive than free. It was such a pleasant surprise and I had a really great experience here.

Last year, my husband was hospitalized for severe mental confusion. Hospital neurologist was…read morecertain this was a symptom of tick-borne illness and placed him on antibiotics. He showed some improvement, but others on his care team disagreed about the cause of his symptoms, and he was discharged without further antibiotic care. Two weeks later, he had to be re-hospitalized because the confusion came back. When I asked for them to resume the antibiotic care, I was met with huge resistance, but our neurologist put us in touch with the Stram Center and told us to follow up there. From that point on, everything changed. I first spoke with Nadine, who listened carefully, expedited my appointment with Dr. Stram and guided me through the intake process. For the first time in a month, I felt heard, cared for and hopeful. We saw Dr. Stram in May 2025 and what can I say? He spent hours talking to us about my husband's health background and symptoms, and, after careful evaluation and testing, identified that my husband had contracted multiple tickborne infections. He developed a thoughtful, holistic care plan that was tailored to my husband's individual needs and included input and supervision from multiple, interdisciplinary clinicians. We travelled to Albany for 6 weeks of 5-day/week treatment. It wasn't easy and it was expensive (health insurance covered very little). But was it worth it? Absolutely! Dr. Stram, Nadine and the entire Stram Team (from the front desk to the nurses and technicians) were always approachable and present, answering our (many) questions with patience, respect, transparency and professionalism. My husband has recovered his mental functioning and his overall health has greatly improved. My gratitude for the Stram Center team is boundless and I'd recommend them without reservation to anyone who is seeking help with complex medical questions and has struggled with the mainstream medical system. My only regrets are that insurance companies don't want to recognize wholistic health practices (so many people can't access this valuable care), and, that it took me so long to write this review.

At the end of getting my CAT scan done I was told that I could sign up for a portal and an email would be sent to me. I did so and I never received the email. I called multiple times based upon this and nobody was ever returning my phone calls or answering the phone so I decided to go in and speak to them. The one older lady at the front desk was very rude and discourteous to me and kept saying that she did email me when she did not. The other woman did help me with the situation and get onto the portal so I was able to get copies of my CT scan and information needed for my doctor or future doctors that will need this information. I deducted stars simply because of the woman at the front desk, who was very rude to me, and she kept interrupting when I was talking to the other lady who was helping. Updated 2 weeks later.
