Lincoln and Main I'm posting this in hopes it brings awareness to this business; it's not the first incident and doubt it will be the last. Let me give you guys the full lay out of my experience with this place... On March 20th after 3 years of avoiding this place, I came in after 3pm and sat at the bar hoping things have changed from past times. I have a sweet lady as my bartender, while we are talking I look over and see Ronda walking out of the kitchen staring at me, we make eye contact, cool. She walked past me and immediately walked back into the kitchen, as she reaches the doorway to the kitchen, she looks back to look at me again. I went about my time there and ordered drinks and chicken wings. Grant came out and talked to me for awhile and I felt we had very genuine conversations. I leave after a couple hours with the thought of "I really enjoyed my time there, I'll have to stop in again on my next day off" So I did... 2 days later, I came in around 11:30am and sat at the same seat at the bar as I did the day before. I had a new bartender, I ordered a Tito's and Cran to drink, he noticed they did not have their cranberry cans upfront, he went to the kitchen and said something to Ronda, not sure what exactly, and you hear her cussing up a storm complaining. The bartender ended up getting really busy taking orders, so as I'm patiently waiting on my drink, Ronda comes up in front of me and says "here's your fucking cranberry juice" and goes back to the kitchen. I'm confused and when the bartender comes back up to me i asked him what her deal was. I'm then told she's already drunk and he doesn't want any issues. Fine by me, I respect it. I keep going about my time there. I then order chicken wings again, for it to be brought out with a CLUMP of hair right on top of my chicken. I mean like 10 strands of long hair! Im absolutely livid and disgusted at this point. I pick up the clump of hair with my fingers and said to the bartender "you see this?" He apologized. (For those wondering why I didn't take a picture, honestly I was so surprised and didn't think to take a picture as he was hovering over my shoulder and holding onto the plate) The bartender said he will have the male in the back remake my chicken for me and at first I agreed, but the more I sat the more I realized... what else can she do to my food? Spit in it? I then said I wasn't interested in food anymore. I ask around for grants number as he was out that day and gave him a call to tell him what had just happened. He says "are you serious?... I just messaged her to leave our guests alone and to stay in the back" he took care of my bill. As I was walking out I walked up to the stand where you order food because you can see back in the kitchen and I said "thanks for putting hair in my food!" She looked up and said "bye" and kept making other people's food. -- Later on in the night, I get a text from a friend that Ronda reaches out to her admitting she did that. I message Ronda on messenger and asked how I could help her and she tries to play innocent. I sent the screenshot to Grant as well and told him she messed up admitting to other people like that. I'm completely disappointed in how I was treated and have NEVER been so disrespected as a customer stopping in for drinks and food. I really thought Grant would've made things right with this but seems to only be a slap on the wrist for his wife and totally dismissive on the whole situation as it's now almost 9pm and I still haven't heard from him, "his word" though.

A solid food experience in Urbana. We loved it! We stopped here on the advice of another Yelper for lunch. I had the classic burger with Colby, lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle. I also asked for an egg on it. It came on a upscale bun and it was bite-full after bite-full of mouthwatering yummyness. I also had tater tots with it and they were good. My SO had the lonestar brisket and she said first rate! Very well cooked, had jalapeños and just perfect! Kids had Mac & cheese and chicken tenders. They bashed. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back'!

Cuban Rolls, loaded tots, Mac & cheese with chicken and pulled pork sandwich.

Great beer selection and the Cuban rolls were amazing! We really enjoyed our lunch. All of the food was yummy and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Oh my WOW! Completely unexpected stop after snowboarding at Mad River Mtn. Such a great decision. Don't second guess it and definitely ask for McKenzie's table. She was very personable and really knew the menu. I LOVE Brussel sprouts and try them at every restaurant that has them on the menu. I don't say this lightly, the ones at Lincoln & Main were the best I've eaten. Shaved makes them easier to eat and the Korean sauce was just the right balance of spice and sweet. Oh so good! If you find yourself in Urbana, it is absolutely worth the stop. THANKS MCKENZIE!

Found my FAVORITE local dining choice of the year (so far, it's still early...) "hidden away" in quiet, unassuming Urbana!! What a great surprise; a fresh, new choice in an area where "same old, same old" may finally have met its match!! After passing this easy to miss spot on the way in to Urbana a couple of times, Mr. M&P was intrigued enough to recommend that we go check it out. We were lucky to get in when we did on a chilly Friday evening. The smallish parking lot was FULL, but one car pulled out and left their primo spot, which was a lucky break and a seriously good omen of things to come!! The entrance is where you'll wait for a table, and where you'll get an idea of the great vibe this new place puts out. New, busy, friendly, super enthusiastic, and ready to GO!! We were handed menus while we waited, and I must have changed my mind three or four times during our very reasonable 10-15 minute wait. Not a HUGE menu, just enough SERIOUSLY awesome, well thought out options... Once we were seated, we checked out their seriously extensive beer and original cocktail list... Tough decisions for both food and drinks!! I chose a tasty cider (Mmmmimosa!) and the Mr. went for an IPA he'd never tried before. I then decided on the Our Main Burger ("1/4 lb. patty of locally sourced red angus beef, bacon jam, chevre cheese, arugula, mayo and stone ground mustard" minus the mayo) and subbed their tempting mac and cheese for the fries (my one goof; too dry, should have stuck with the fries) while the Mr. had their fish and chips. SUPER fast, attentive service, VERY reasonable prices, and you can just tell they're genuinely enthusiastic about this new venture. The owner came around and talked to individual tables, the waiters went the extra step of recognizing and joking with repeat customers (which we hope to be!!) and all in all, it was a great vibe. For a place that's only been open since mid-December (previously a local food truck, which I hear will still operate), Lincoln and Main has REALLY got their act together and we wish them MUCH continued success. We also CAN'T WAIT to try out their patio when/if warm weather ever returns!!

Good choices to kick things off with and then we ordered all the apps! Good attempt w the Boudin Balls, but it needed alot more sausage, tasted like rice balls. The Muffaletta Deviled Eggs were very salty. Even after taking the olive topping off, the saltiness was soaked into the egg. Now the Grilled Shrimp Maque Choux was off the chain! I could've eaten 20 plates. Off to the entrees, we went with the Jambalaya and the Gumbo. The only mistake was not getting a bowl of Gumbo! It was very good. Cajuns would be proud! I hope the Gumbo is on their regular menu! Cannot wait to come back and try other stuff. Sazerac had a black licorice and ouzo quality to it and I'm not a fan of either of those but ppl who are will love it.

The restaurant was only a 1/4 full. Than The second waiter blamed it on mother's day which was the following day and didn't make sense. The food finally arrived and was average at best. some of our meals were slightly warm, dry and overcooked. Expectations were high unfortunately staff, quality of food and time were not on our side. I would avoid eating here and make reservations elsewhere.

The Met has a policy that your server gets to proudly wear a crown if their name is mentioned in a five star review. Love that policy!! Wear it proudly Ashely!! The Met is a unique building downtown Lima. It was built in the late 1880's and was originally home to the The Metropolitan Bank. It has since been morphed into a restaurant with very attractive original features. The wood floors and plaster ceilings...along with the attractive decor really enhance the dinning experience! The team here is very friendly, professional and welcoming. Ashley was outstanding. She hustled, knew her menu and had great recommendations. Ashley was very attentive and helped us enjoy the evening. I appreciated Liz stopping by and welcoming us. Liz shared lots of history and helped us appreciate the facility. The Met has a large food menu that has something for everyone. They have a large selection of beverages and specialty cocktails. All at reasonable prices. We started with a couple of Mule drinks. One was a designer St. Patrick's Day Mule and their specialty Met Mule. Both were very tasty, cool and refreshing . We started with the Focaccia bread appetizer. It had a lightly golden/chewing top with a soft and moist inside. Liz said that they make the bread fresh three times a day. The bread had a slight olive oil taste with a mild amount of Italian herbs. The soft whipped butter was a nice add. The side salad had lots of fresh spring greens. There was a few tasty tomatoes and lots of stronger tasting onions. The thin Parmesan cheese shreds were an excellent touch. The house ranch dressing was very smooth/light/creamy moderately thin with a mild ranch taste. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. The crust was thin and crispy. She really liked the ranch house made sauce and how it accented the meat toppings. I had the Met Meatloaf which had an outstanding meat flavor. The meat was made with Italian sausage which had a slightly spicy kick. It was moist and tender to go along the beefy taste. The smooth red sauce on top was slightly sweet & spicy. It accented the meat nicely. The mashed potatoes were real with lumps, eyes and minute peel pieces. Very smooth and delicious! The grilled asparagus had a slight crisp to go along with the tender stalk. Not much seasoning detected...just a nice olive oil taste. Overall a fantastic dinner experience. We sat street level and watched the pedestrians come & go while enjoying the decor of this unique facility! The menu is large and the food and drinks are outstanding. A special trip to The Met in downtown Lima is worth a try!

The menu rotates roughly every quarter, and given the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the selection is a bit limited -- handful of vegetarian small plates, a few meat and a few seafood options. For the non-drinkers, they had two non-alcoholic cocktails available, but no NA beer. Beware though, as the NA cocktails were still around $11, which I always find frustrating as they are basically flavored sugar water. We tried the blackhawk beef burger and koji-aged ribeye. The blackhawk burger was a smash burger (thin patties, melted cheese), that tasted delicious. The ribeye was just as expected and cooked as ordered. The star of each of the entrees, however, was the thin cut, crispy fries. Good thing the fries were delicious because the sauces that came with it were quite bland -- would've preferred ketchup. For dessert we tried the bay leaf cheesecake. It was alright, had a subtle smokey flavor that I think threw us off a bit (although that was obviously the point given the bay leaf). Our server Renee was friendly and everything was prompt. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and the food was pretty good. Although, given the limited number of options on the menu, you'll definitely want to look at it ahead of time to make sure there is something that suits your palate.

The moment we stepped in, the modern aesthetic hit perfectly - clean lines, mood lighting, and just enough buzz to feel energetic without drowning out conversation. Our family gathering was greeted immediately by staff who seemed genuinely stoked to have us there. Major points for making a large group feel welcome! The menu is refreshingly concise - none of that overwhelming novel-length situation that makes you second-guess yourself three times. Their drink selection strikes that perfect balance too - enough variety in wines/beers/cocktails to satisfy everyone. They've got some non-alcoholic options as well. We started with the Kimchi Pancake and Brussels Sprouts for the table. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about the pancake (kimchi can be hit or miss for me), but this was a revelation. The kimchi flavor was present but not overwhelming - just enough kick that played perfectly with the shiso and wasabi remoulade. And those Brussels? It's packed with flavor and disappeared in approximately 3.5 seconds... Maybe less! For my main course, went with my cousin's recommendation - the Koji Aged Ribeye. When it arrived I initially thought "that's it?" But this steak is deceptive. The thick cut topped with Togarashi Butter was significantly more filling than it looked. Cooked to absolute perfection, and that butter situation on top? A flavor bomb of sweet-spicy-savory that had me contemplating licking the plate - don't worry, I didn't! My taste buds were begging for more even when my stomach waved the white flag. That's when you know it's good. If you're anywhere near downtown Dayton, make Jollity a priority stop. Not sure when I'll be back in Ohio again, but would definitely have this resto on my return list.
