    Tenderloin sandwich and fries

Stopped in here for lunch. They have a daily special with is cool. I got the tenderloin sandwich which was big enough for two people. The fries were really good. Cool little place at a country cross road.

    Unusual but fun bowling game!

I started with a gummy bear cocktail, which was just like drinking a strawberry Jolly Rancher. Then my date & I were served toasted ravioli as our appetizer... they were perfect! Crispy on the outside, soft & tasy on the inside. The marinara complimented the ricotta and breaded pasta well. For my meal, I had some yummy fried shrimp with cocktail sauce. I was very pleased. My curly fried potato wedges (don't call them curly fries!) were crisp on the outside & soft inside. I really enjoyed them. My side of fruit & side salad with balsamic vinaigrette were fine, neither great nor terrible. My fiancé had some delicious chili, though it was cold when served. Out waitress obliged our request to reheat it & when it came back out, it was just right. The cornbread was moist, sweet, and "cakey." I'm from North Carolina &, let me just say, the cornbread was some of the best I've had in ages. The chicken sandwich was good. We ordered some cinnamon caramel pretzel bites (like cinnamon sugar balls) to go & I can attest that they didn't last long the next day when they were warmed up. Overall, this was a nice meal in a quaint Ohio downtown. Should we return to Lima, we'll stop in at 318 again!

At the time we stayed outside and ate on the patio and had some of the issues that the others have mentioned in their post. But what a difference they have made recently. My son and I Went there a few Sundays ago and were immediately welcomed inside by a very nice gentleman. He was outside tending to the outside fire. It was a somewhat gloomy and chilly Sunday about 2 PM. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a table. It does appear they're taking all proper precautions inside for Covid regulations. We were immediately given menus along with a drink menu. We were explain the new menu items and the specials they had going. And I ordered the nearly famous bloody Mary and my son got an amazing Shirley Temple. We ordered the pretzel bites for an appetizer and received a large amount of them for a great price. They were good and my son nearly ate them all himself. My son had the kids chicken fingers and fries which he enjoyed even though he's a very picky eater. I had the Greek Gyro and found it to be very flavorful even though the meat what the previously frozen kind similar to that that you get off a Sysco food truck. There was nothing wrong with it. By the way my bloody Mary was very good and I ended up having a second drink that being a seasonal pumpkin beer which is also very good. The wait staff was very attentive and checked in on us just the right amount. I found the patrons inside to be very nice to have a conversation with as well. The inside was bright and they had Sunday football on the televisions. This place has come a long way recently and I overheard the staff talking about more renovation they plan to make over the winter. I recommend you give this place a shot and see the improvements they have made for yourself.
