The nurses and MA were all helpful despite the long wait. But recognizing that this is an urgent care and a walk in clinic, that's expected. Con: Despite having a wait area the space of about 15' x 9', patients were not required to wear a mask even if they're coughing and clearly showing signs of being infectious to others in that tight space. Being that this is a health facility. policy should reflect the wellbeing of everyone. There were elderlies, people with compromised immune system and children which makes mask requirement evermore important.

I was taken care of and the problem I had was taken care of by the doctors and nurses. The last few months I was at the hospital due to blocked arteries which caused me to have a triple bypass, heart shocked twice, an ablation, and finally a pacemaker implanted. After my bypass I ended up in the Cardiac Care Unit where I was taken care of by the most professional caring doctors and nurses. It was like my comfort and recovery were the most important task they had. It is no wonder that they and the doctors and nurses at the McKenzie Heart Group are a level 3 star for patient care and outcomes. My understanding is that is the highest level attainable and there are only 3 in all of Oregon. Two in Portland and one at McKenzie-Willamette hospital with the McKenzie Heart group. You couldn't do any better than them for your heart care especially if you need bypass surgery.

When i see people throwing the race card around i did not have any experience from the staff here i was here from Thursday 9/24 until 9/28, 2026 i felt absolutely cared for and respected!! Trust me i personally know what racism looks and feels like and i didnt have any of that the entire time i was there!! All the nurses and aides, respiratory therapists Robert & D dont wanna get his name wrong but he'll know it's him cuz I told him n I would call him that!! They were excellent at their jobs and I got my breathing g treatments every 4 hours!! Christine on Thursday was absolutely amazing and very sweet. Christine was one of the first people I met when I was rolled up to the 3rd floor. She was amazing before her shift was over clearly explained everything to me. How they were gonna make sure to help me get my breathing on track and I would be there all weekend!! I appreciated that because honestly I thought i was going to die!! To the all the people who helped me i cant thank you enough for your genuine caring and compassion. I feel grateful and want you all to know that u helped save my life!! With all the blood draws, and constant care I see how hard u all work and how busy u all are!! I especially want to thank the lady whose favorite color is orange of any shade!! I forgot her name but she was such a beautiful warm and friendly nurse. She had went to Greece with her husband for their 30 year anniversary. What a great lady .!! Amazing. So as u can tell i was in contact with a diverse group of caregivers and was well tooken care of. So was the lady I shared a room with . Anyway the weekend day I think NP was also amazing . She was great. For 4 days of great care I am breathing better and alive to talk about it!! THANK U ALL SO MUCH!!! Really quick like this isnt the only experience I've had here this is my go to hospital because it beats the alternative!! So please dont assume oh I've been here one time and dont know what im talking about. One more thing as we all know Dr's aren't passing out opiates and those type of pain pills like they used to, it is just the way it is these days. I am not implying that every one is drug seeking by any means but we all know they are out there. Laws have changed and no doctor wants to lose his career or license by passing out opiates like candy!! Times have changed . Rules and laws have to be followed!! Say what u want im just stating the facts!! Anyway I hope get the same great care I have experienced!! WRITTEN BY ABBY YOUNG,

Dr. Gilchrist has a profoundly sane approach to patient care including empathy, humor and access. I am able to reach my doctor any time, and receive a response almost immediately. He is available via text always and is also quite easy to schedule with. I have never (never!) had to wait to see him. Beyond being very knowledgeable, easy to talk with and amazingly kind, Dr. Gilchrist also provides a level of care that is incredible. He has dropped off prescriptions for me, been proactive with insurance issues and worked diligently to find me other providers, such as physical therapy, who are equally good. Concierge care may require new thinking at first. Paying a subscription rate on top of insurance can seem prohibitive, but when given the level of care and contact, it's actually quite a bargain. Dr. Gilchrist has seen me several times a month, as well as offered referrals, text consults and encouragement, all within my monthly cost. No copay, no additional fees, and of course all services that he refers too work with insurance as usual. It's an easy win- and genuinely adds to my health and well being to be part of his concierge practice. I would encourage anyone to get in and see Dr. Gilchrist! He's the absolute best!

Dr. Wells treats my dad each time like he is the most important patient in the world. He listens, and explains things thoroughly in a language that my father and our family can understand. When my dad had to go to radiation therapy, the staff there was outstanding. Robby made my dad as comfortable as possible for each and every treatment. Taking an interest in his personal life, and hearing him brag about his grandkids on each visit. Once the immunotherapy treatment began, they continued to treat my father with great grace and kindness. Denise has been super each time. She is kind and patient, without fail. In every connection within the medical field I came upon during this journey, Dr. Keiper was the only surgeon recommended. I wanted a surgeon on the cutting edge of technology and Dr. Keiper designed and developed the technique used on my spine.   Beginning with our first consultation and reviewing my MRI results, Dr. Keiper was able to put me at ease with his explanations and confidence at what he knew he could fix. He took the time to answer my questions more than once, always making sure I understood. He said I would notice immediate improvement and he was correct. Every step I have taken since surgery has been done with a very thankful heart. I look forward to every step I take and gaining strength for a future full of adventure.   Thank you, Dr. Keiper, for your dedication to the betterment of movement and helping to improve my quality of life. I also highly recommend Ralph Peterson with KeiperSpine. He was able to calm my nerves (more than once) while waiting for the long process of insurance approval. He was able to factually demonstrate my condition by having me perform a series of tests and explain to me what my legs were experiencing. These tests gave me confidence that after surgery, I would be relieved of the symptoms I was experiencing. When I went in for staple removal (which was painless), his encouragement made me feel proud of the progress I had made at only one week post-op.
