The nail tech did not speak English and was not very friendly. Their pedicure chairs are uncomfortable and qhen I tried to use the controller it was stuck to the lower arm of the chair and you can't read it. I was scolded when I pulled it and realized they had a sticky thing on the back to make it stay there. Since I didn't understand what the tech wanted me to do with my feet I felt like she and the other tech were talking about me. Uncomfortable experience. Never again. read more

She burned me while removing the set, burned my nails with the acrylic that was darker than the color I wanted, cut & grazed me. Just... Jesus. Most places I've gone never charged me almost $70 for a full set. What the hell? They charged for the length I already had on top of that. This was insane. And what's worse is when I asked them to clarify why I was being charged so much, they started talking shit about me in Spanish.... Well, I can definitely say, I'm never coming here again. The owner was very nice and they had one very kind nail tech who could speak English and was skilled enough to do an ombré gradient on my friend's nails, but the other techs have a tough time with English and so they could not understand what I wanted, even when I showed them a photo of how I wanted my nails to look. I wanted my tips to be a light pink with a silver glitter accent nail (I chose the color from the palette they gave me). I showed them a photo from Instagram and told her I wanted it to be like this. She nodded and understood and confirmed which colour I wanted. She started doing cleaning up my cuticles but then cut me on my ring finger and I was bleeding a lot. I flinched but she kept going until she realized how much I was bleeding. Since it was on my cuticle, the entire process thereafter stung so much! She bandaged it up but the coats always stung. She then proceeded to do my nails but she painted my entire nail with the pink and glitter. I asked if she was only going to do the tip of the nail and she said yes, then told me to put my hand in the led curing machine. I was confused because I thought it still had to be wet for the polish to be removed on the bottom half of my nails, but I trusted she understood what I wanted because I showed her a photo. In the end, we had to call the owner and explain to him what I wanted because we couldn't communicate to each other. We had to remove all of it again (except for my accent nail because she cut my cuticle and I wouldn't be able to soak that nail in acetone or it would burn) and then re-do them. They turned out mediocre. They were uneven, goopy, and messy. Unfortunately I don't think I will be coming back. read more

I came to Lin nails with my family and we all got our nails done, spent over $200 there to be treated very disrespectfully and not welcomed. While I was getting my nails done I was told to SHUT UP NIGGA! because I was talking too much..... and then started talking Spanish under her breath which I did not understand because I do not speak Spanish. I had gotten the dip done at another salon and came back to Nancy because was disappointed ted with previous place. My sister , my mom , and myself have been coming to Lin nails for 2 years now and we decided to try a new place closer to our house but we were disappointed! I happened upon this salon when picking up my dry cleaning. When I went in and there was only a 10 minute wait I should have fled but I was going out of town and wanted to have my nails done. BIG mistake! I had the gel polish chip off before I even left! The manicure left me with two infections and the pedicure left me with an infected ingrown nail from cutting it too short. I would not send my worst enemy to the salon! read more

Don't call me superficial but the one thing I dread is trying to find a nail tech that truly knows what they're doing! Well thank God mission is complete, I found Ming whom actually seemed to care about what he was doing. I've been to this shop before years ago but I never returned because nothing drives me crazy more than a nail tech who's just rushing to get the next customer that's waiting in line. This shop has since changed owners & let me tell you for the best it seems because during my visit one of the senior techs actually took out the time to walk around with a tray of cold bottled waters & offer them to his customers, which if I may say so was a very nice touch!! The shop didn't have a bunch of kids running around because the parents don't care, it was just an overall good experience. To make it even better I got lucky with an awesome tech, Ming actually knew what he was doing & I didn't have to ask him to go over any of his work. Wonderful place! I was able to make an appointment for the same day, and got a gel pedicure and full acrylic set. I asked for a bit of a complicated design (marble nails) and Thang did a wonderful job accommodating me and making sure each nail was perfect and to my liking. He worked quickly and did an amazing job, and was gentle with my natural nails that had been damaged at a different salon. The pedicure was thorough and very neatly done. Never come here... The place smells strange when you walk in, Nancy is extremely rude, you're better off with no manicure then the one you will do here. No one has any information, there was confusion about using the regular polish that matches the gel color polish and after it was put on we were told the polish was 5.00 extra. They then said it couldn't be put on the hands so my sister's hands and feet would have to be different colors.. the other option was pay an additional 8.00 to have her feet changed to match her hands since the color couldn't be applied to the hands. Finally a man heard about the confusion and he said they would waive the additional fees and just match her feet to her hands... the outcome regardless was below mediocre. On my nails... the gel polish was dull and I had to stop at Sally to buy clear top coat. The nails were even filed crooked and nail polish was all over the skin.. NEVER AGAIN. read more

The owner Tan is such a talented nail tech. He's the best tech I've ever had and I've been going for almost 4 years. He's really kind. The store is nice and calm with TVs playing and employees who are friendly. They offer customers water and have really good prices. I usually get acrylic nails that are really long but Tan always does a great job it never takes too long and the nails always last. STAY AWAY ! I made a huge mistake by coming here. Not only are the Asian staff members rude but they did a terrible job. I walked in at 7:00, they close at 7:30 but there were people still doing their nails, and asked for a manicure/pedicure. My natural nails are shorter than usual. I keep them long but not this time around. I chose a color and they directed me to a spa chair. My chair must've been broken because I didn't get a massage. As I was getting my feet done one of the young Asian girls approached me and said she would do my manicure while I was sitting there. Thinking she would bring a tray of tools and water for me to dip my fingers in, I said I was fine with it. I have never been so appalled in my life while getting a manicure. SHE NEVER PUT MY HANDS IN WATER AND BARELY EVEN CUT MY CUTICLES. I was livid !!! But I was already there and I needed my nails done. The only positive part of my visit here was the older Hispanic lady that did my pedicure. She did an excellent job. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS LAME EXCUSE OF A PLACE.
