After being unable to visit Lin's Garden for several years, we were there today for lunch. Lynn looks the same as she did six years ago, the restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmed. The meal was outstanding for both myself and Wife and the service was excellent. Photos attached or taken of the menu April 29, 2025.

Finally found this great Chinese Restaurant as in the past, I didn't venture off Route 322 and Route 422. I arrived from Route 322 and it was real easy to find. The restaurant is open for both take out and dine in. I decided to dine in and went up to the counter to order my lunch from their reasonably priced lunch specials. My wonton soup was not that salty and the wontons were fresh. I chose Chicken with Cashews for my entree. It was delicious and full of chicken, cashews, and vegetables. My total was $6.10, which included tax. The restaurant had previously served complimentary hot tea, per a small sign to the left of the counter, but I didn't see any tea around and asked. I was told it wasn't available. I decided not to order sugary soda or bottled water. I waited until I left to get some water.

Very good casual Chinese restaurant! We came during the week for the lunch special and got the last table at the restaurant. Many people came for takeout but there are a decent amount of tables that could accommodate four people. It was busy because the food is great and also a really good deal. The lunch special allows you to choose your main dish, white rice or pork fried rice, and an appetizer. I got wonton soup but they also offered other soups like egg drop soup. Or you can get an egg roll. The most expensive lunch special was well under $7 The food tasted very good for Americanized Chinese food. It also came out very fresh which made it even better. Staff was very friendly. After we ordered our food came out without much of a wait. Overall a great lunch deal that tastes great!

We were just in town for a tournament and found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. Food was better than expected. Lots of flavor without being too salty. We got the family meal which comes with choice of 3 items and rice. We also got the hot and sour soup. Also excellent. Rhey had covid precautions in place. They had plastic barrier and hand sanitizers available. I highly recommend them for Chinese take out.

Best takeout Chinese food in the area. Pepper chicken, shrimp and broccoli, and won ton soup are some of our favorites.

I only go to Lin Garden only because the food is great. I see no reason to go anywhere else if you're wanting Chinese.

Every time I'm in the area, I must stop by for their sweet and sour chicken. I buy a little extra to take home for later.

It was pretty busy on Saturday when we went for dinner but we didn't have to wait too long and our food actually came out pretty fast. The service was as expected because it looked like 1 guy was serving all tables and he was literally running between table to table. I don't blame him for any waiting because he was busting his butt and we didn't really need to wait too long. We ordered a variety of dishes coming here but my favorite has to be the Homestyle Tofu or the Fish Filet. I would like to try more dishes next time. They give you quite a good amount of food for the price. Some places charge the same and give you much less. This place has authentic Chinese food with some common favorites that many of us also know (chicken with broccoli, lo mein, general tso's etc.) so there is something for everyone. There are vegetarian dishes available as well. If you're in the area and would like more savory, authentic Chinese food I recommend coming here!

The dry pot fish was probably one of the best I've had in recent memory. For me it was just the right level of mala spicy, without being overpowering. This dish came with rice. The lotus and mixed vegetables (which also came with rice) were also perfectly stir-fried. It included carrots, snap peas, black fungus, and of course lotus. Even my vegetable-skeptic kids liked this dish, especially the lotus root and snap peas. The wonton soup was more run-of-the-mill, but decent. We dined at Yi Pin on Easter Sunday, and the restaurant was very busy. We were able to get seated immediately at a booth, but it took a while for their lean-staffed waiters to bring a menu, water, and take our order. That said, the food did arrive quickly, steaming hot from the kitchen. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Lancaster.

They accommodated our large party of 15 people very easily with every dish coming out piping hot and perfect. We tried everything from the chili wontons, xiao long bao (soup dumplings), spicy eggplant, clear noodle with chili sauce, fried rice, whole fried fish, toothpick cumin lamb and more. Would recommend all those dishes and happily come back to try more.

I was a weekly regular. I drive 30 mins to support this gem of a restaurant…read more Each month I went, I noticed small changes here and there. Shrinkflation right? After three consecutive strikes in a row, I decided to give these guys a break. I Even went as far as going to the Lancaster location in hopes of a better experience. (Lancaster is not as good in my opinion) I need to drop a star because the last 3 times I came here the service was very bad. 1 of the times it wasn't even busy. People who came well after my party of 4 was seated, already had their tea, and dishes served before we were even offered water. It was my daughter's birthday lunch too, which soured the whole experience. Another time, my order was messed up and I was told that I made the mistake (even though I ordered that item nearly every week since the place opened). Dishes are hit or miss with translation. It depends on the server. There is one lady that has a huge language barrier. When it's busy, she is very careless, I believe she is part of the ownership. I do understand how overwhelming it is when they are busy, hence only 1star is being removed. I don't want to be upset over a small business owners attempt to keep everything orderly while there was clear chaos and under staffing. Overall I am only dropping it one star because their food is still filling a vast need for authentic style Chinese in our area and there are no competitors. The food has still been a good experience depending on who's in the kitchen and what day it is. I will return once the weather is warmer (I hate the seating set up because if you are by the entrance, you freeze each time the door opens) I will see if service improves.
