We did takeout and it's pretty small if you're planning to eat there. Tried ordering delivery thru Uber Eats & it was a nightmare. So, we called. The service was great, food was ready fast, everyone was very friendly, & it was packaged amazingly well in a box to make our large order east to carry. We had a very large order and it was 100% correct. Very impressive. The woman who took my order repeated everything perfectly the first time, too. I come here every time I come home for a visit from CA. The 2 foods I feel are better on the East Coast are Chinese & Pizza. So I always get my fill of Chinese from China Wok while in town. Always consistently good which is important to me. I know when I order from them it will be just as good as the last time. I always get the chicken or vegetable lo mein & sweet & sour chicken. Very good Chinese food but terrible customer service. We ordered a $90 order and they missed the sweet and sour sauce and the dumpling sauce on our order. When i went in the clerk is making it sound as if it was my fault. Also bought a $25 gift card at xmas for my brother. They use a manual system to track the card and cheated him out of $10 despite him showing his receipt. No more gift cards there ever. I told them to get their act together and we are done with them for good. Very careless. The new clerk at the register needs to learn customer skills read more

Ordered food and it was Terrible. Large beef with Chinese vegetables, ano flavor at all don't know who's doing the cooking but it's bad. I used to eat there at least twice a week for years. They got some different people in there working and when you do that and cooks aren't familiar you know what hap p ens. That's it for me I won't eat there anymore or take anything out. After ordering here several times, I'm convinced they are bad on purpose. I work in the shopping complex they are in, and eat there frequently. This time, I ordered a combo dish, and the total came out to be $8.50. I handed them my card, and the lady said "you want to add a drink or extra egg roll to get to $10? We have a $10 credit card minimum." And I frankly said "no, I want what I ordered on the phone. I come here all the time, could you let me slide this one time?" And she still insisted on me buying more food. I refused, and said "well, you can either take my money or throw out the food you made me. Why are you punishing loyal and frequent customers because of your displeasure with your credit card services?" I think this place is very good. It is in the plaza with Weis. Not fanciful inside but that really doesn't matter as I never eat in. They have delivery but I opt for pickup. I've enjoyed what I've had so far. General Tso's (who doesn't love it) is piquante but flavorful. I love the orange beef. The other dishes I've had have been good too. China Wok is our go-to place for Chinese food. I order something from this restaurant about once a week. I think the current rating for this restaurant (3.5 stars) is pretty accurate. The food is very tasty, which is what keeps me coming back week after week. However, the atmosphere is kind of like one of those take-out-only places just with a larger area for tables and patrons to sit and eat their food. In other words; Not much in the way of ambience. On busy nights you may have to wait awhile to pick-up your order. I wish I could give this place a 3.5-star rating but settled for a 4-star (although it really isn't quite 4-star in my opinion.) In Central PA good Chinese in a strip mall is pretty hard to find. Then again, Chinese in a strip mall is all you can find. There are a few noteworthy places around and surprisingly, this unassuming little spot is one of them. The flavors are clean and distinct and aren't overpowered by oiliness. I ordered general tsos chicken with pork fried rice, the combo with a pork eggroll. I enjoyed everything and it was delivered very fast. I did use the app beyond the menu to order so idk if that helped. They did give me the wrong rice though but its ok since its the house special rice; includes shrimp, chicken, and pork! I agree with the 2015 reviewer. I would rate this as the worst Chinese food I ever had. We ordered lunch specials - general tso's chicken and sesame chicken with white rice. The food was practically inedible. Rice was a little hard and stuck together. Both chicken dishes were doughy. You could easily see they were the exact same chicken but the sesame had a lot of sesame seeds sprinkled on top. It was terrible - no pride at all in what they are serving. They were also somewhat unfriendly. I will NEVER go here again. read more
