This is the best Chinese restaurant I've found in the Midstate! The ingredients are always fresh, the flavors are amazing, and the portion sizes are very generous! I highly recommend the Shrimp with Vegetables. Sounds very simple, but the prawns are large, the veggies are fresh, and they are beautifully cut/shaped and perfectly stir-fried, too. The Black Pepper Chicken and the Bourbon Chicken are also delicious. The vegetable spring rolls are perfectly crisped and not all soggy or gooey as at some other places. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

First time here. I have a love/hate relationship with Chinese. And I say Chinese with a grain of salt because 'American Chinese' is so different than Chinese I have gotten outside of the US. But that's ok good General Tsos is one of my favorite American Chinese foods. Anyway as I was saying. I love to crave Chinese and then I am usually disappointed afterwards. Not so with Jasmines. My wife's bourbon chicken was great!!!! Really nice quality chicken and very flavorful. My General Tsos (extra spicy) was also really good! We got two lunch combos which add an egg roll and soup (apparently not a drink). The portions are really good. For that reason I wouldn't get a combo again. I would definitely go back. Our server recommended I get emperor chicken next time. So I will have to try that. read more

People at this restaurant are nasty to DoorDash drivers Went in here today (10/1) at around 8:10 to pick up a DoorDash order for pickup. Upon coming in, there was a girl and a guy, both around teenage age, sitting across from each other and eating at one of the large tables there. The girl was wearing a shirt with the restaurant's logo on it. The girl got up and asked if I had a doordash order and then asked for the name, I gave it to her (and was extremely kind while doing so) and I went to stand near the couch to wait for the order to come out. The guy who was eating at the main table almost immediately after the girl sat down said "Don't worry about DoorDash drivers, they just sit there" and "Some of them are assholes" (them referring to DD drivers). Mind you, I was extremely kind to the employees there and did absolutely nothing to have someone say that I'm an "asshole" and to "not worry" about me when I'm just trying to do a job and make some money. That kid needs to grow up and learn some manners and how to conduct himself, respect is a two-way street and I certainly showed respect to the workers there. read more

I've heard amazing things about Jasmine Chinese Kitchen, but I've never made it in to try the food until tonight. It's everything people raved about and MORE. This Chinese food is the best I've had in PA and one of the top I've had anywhere!!! Best customer service too!! We ordered a ton of food and were shocked it was only $45 ($5 off automatically applied). First and foremost - the bourbon chicken is SO GOOD. I used to get this all the time in Florida and haven't found a place in PA that makes it the same way. This blows every other bourbon chicken I've had out of the water. See pics!! The egg fried rice is delicious and eggy. The combo meals are an insane deal since it's a TON of chicken, rice, plus a soup of your choice AND an egg roll or 2 spring rolls. My husband's go-to is shrimp lo mein, and this is his favorite he's had. It is delicious and has crunchy bean sprouts in it. The lo mein sauce is so good and the shrimp are fresh. The sesame chicken is another of our favorites, so we got that to try too. It smacks!! The egg drop soup was to die for. The crab rangoons were huge and the sweet and sour sauce was great. We didn't wait long despite not calling ahead. You can call ahead or order online, even if you plan on dining in. The inside is quaint with lots of seating. The food is made fresh and with love, so give them grace with cook times. Be kind, be patient, and enjoy your amazing food from here. read more

Ordered the Bourbon Chicken combo. Chicken was waaaaay overdone and inedible. Did not get egg rolls with both combo meals and the Sweet/Sour chicken was cooked in old oil and was also inedible. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

The food is consistently delicious and service is excellent. It's my go to these days for me

Great service. Clean establishment. Very Americanized Chinese food so not my cup of tea. But if you are having a hankering for takeout, I recommend taking advantage of their lunch specials. Generous portions for a good price. I just don't care much for Americanized Chinese, but far better than Taipei, Panda Express or Chinese at the mall. read more

Love the ambience, good seating place if u want to dine in & can just relax. U can also do take out. Excellent food. Tried their shrimp fried rice, veg fried rice & Singapore noodles so far. It was a take out. Will go back again to try more dishes soon. The owner is a very friendly & smiling person. read more

We got take out from here- my husband asked if they made authentic Chinese food as there are a lot of restaurants here that tweak the food to a more "Americanized" taste. The owner was thrilled and suggested a few different dishes. We obviously didn't let them know ahead of time, so we'll be calling next time to check out their more authentic dishes. They are definitely on the heavily salted side... I think I drank 4 cups of water while consuming their dishes. We requested for less salt, but it was still heavily salted. Just fyi for those of you with hypertension... They are updating their menu so we'll be back to try some more things! Hopefully they decrease the amount of salt/soy sauce in their cooking. Otherwise, glad we found a Chinese restaurant to go to! read more

Second time here, second time my online order took in excess of 90 minutes. Ordered online - 45 minutes to pick up. Arrived to a sea of angry faces. Went to register and told it would be .... Another 45 minutes. The food is really good but come on figure out your kitchen. read more

Good sesame chicken but a bit too much garlic in the house lo mein. Still we'll be back for more.

First glance, the website is smooth. Ordering was easy. They gave 20% off for the new year until March. Order: Pork Egg Roll: Good crunch. Not greasy. Lots of flavor! Small Hot and Sour Soup: Has a a touch of heat. Full of veggies, tofu, and flavor! I ordered a small. That is a pint. Priced well. Small Wonton Soup: Also, very tasty. Plenty of wontons. Good flavor. Pan Fried Dumplings: Looked at little sad at appearance. But they tasted good. Had a little spice to them. Good sauce. Small Chicken Lo Mein: Good portion for small. Good flavor. Easily will reorder. Food was done fast. Service at counter was with a smile. Restaurant area was clean. I don't believe they serve you. Totally ok with that. When paying online: I didn't like the $1.00 convenience fee they charge. I also did not like that it already adds tip in. (Unless you change it.) Overall 4/5. Better than most in the area. read more

Jasmine Chinese Kitchen, thank you so much for making my week. I am not from here, I am from Texas, and I didn't know where to get good Chinese food. I was a little skeptical because I am not around here but once I called to see if I could get more Sweet and Sour sauce and the lady that answered the phone said not to worry in the sweetest voice, she would add more sauce at no charge I knew it would be perfect. The experience was AAAHHHHHHHH-MAZING! On my first try I found my favorite Chinese place here in Pennsylvania, I am definitely going to come back for more. Thank you for making the end to my week so great, with the best dinner I have had since I have been here. read more

Restaurant was clean hope it stays this way, sesame chicken was good hit and fresh. The employee was busy taking a table order so I used the self service kiosk at the restaurant it was easy and quick to use. read more

The food quality was excellent. Good rich broth in the soup. The vegetables were fresh. The meals were packed with rice, meats, and vegetables. Plenty of sauce on our meals too. Flavors were outstanding. Food quality is 5 Stars. In house hospitality is ehhhh, not so good. Canned sodas and bottled water for drinks. The meals are served in plastic To go containers, there is no soy sauce or salt and pepper on the tables, the forks, spoons and knife are to go style plastic wrapped plastic. Chairs are hard cold metal. This is definitely a place you should just get delivered or take it to go. read more

Wow!!!!! Amazing service amazing general Tso, Bourbon everything. So glad I find this spot

Yeah, I can't lie. I had to go ahead and save these folks on my Apple Maps. Bourbon chicken went crazy and the sesame chicken was extra saucy and CRISPY. I got the small for both, good bang for buck. (Probably want to order an extra rice to go with the amount of protein you get) read more

I've gotten takeout from this restaurant a number of times. The food is decent. I like tofu dishes, but the tofu is always fried and tough. Service is always very slow. I order online, but it's never ready when I get there. read more

never disappointed in any menu option. Food cooked to perfection with the kindest and most attentive staff. Instead of fast food try Jasmine. you won't be disappointed read more

Got the chicken fried rice and chicken with snow peas. By far the best Chinese around. Reminds me of Ho Wah, but better.

I love the way they prepared my House Lo Mein and also my shrimp egg foo young. This is my new favorite place for Chinese food. The flavors are similar to the way Ho Wah used to prepare their dishes but, better. I will be a regular customer. read more

Have now been here multiple times. I would say best chinese food on west shore. A little slow - has always taken longer than the time given - but the taste has been very good. Have tried multiple soups, the crab rangoon, and the broccoli, sichuan, hunan and jalapeño combos. Could use a little attention to detail. First couple visits got no duck sauce for egg rolls. Next trip put notes in online order not to forget and got a ton of duck sauce but forgot the egg rolls. They did however fix the mistake by sending someone to deliver 3 egg rolls. That to me is great customer service. Couldnt comment in ambience because have never eaten in read more

Just got good here for the first time and it was really good and clean! I got the shrimp vegetables and white rice so so good would recommend this place! read more

We had a very large order of six main dishes, soup, and appetizers. The food was generally good, while not spectacular. However, the cashew chicken was by far the worst Chinese I've ever had. I get it; I've been to China multiple times, and Chinese food in the US rarely compares. However, there are Americanized dishes that are standardized across the board and cashew chicken is one of them. This is the first restaurant that has made cashew chicken with fried (almost burned and very greasy) chicken. There were hardly any vegetables in the dish and I cannot even tell you what kind of sauce was used. I had high hopes for finding a go-to, local Chinese option, and those hopes were dashed. I guess it's back to the far better options for Thai and Korean. read more

Hands down best Chinese Food in the area. They are always friendly as well. Hot N' Sour soup is amazing. Only place I get Chinese food here.

I just want to share my positive experience with you all on a new Chinese restaurant in Mechanicsburg. The Jasmine Chinese Kitchen on the Carlisle Pike directly across from Dennys. My husband and I went there yesterday. I am very picky, so I was so apprehensive. My favorite Chinese restaurant used to be Ho Wah's in Lemoyne and I was heartbroken when they closed. The person who runs this restaurant is a relative in someway to the people who had Ho Wah's. They use the same recipes. Everything that we ordered was fantastic and tasted like we remembered. The restaurant is geared toward takeout. However, they do have places to sit down and eat inside. Right now through March 31. They have 20% off of your total bill. No coupons needed. The girl who helped us was Pearl, and she was so kind and helpful. You don't have to take my word for it, but give it a try if you like Chinese. read more

The food was really good and the servings were great! Delicious leftovers. There was a little wait, but it was worth the fresh made food. Yum! read more

This place is very good but the wait times are ridiculous. You can order in advance, give it some extra time before going in for pick up and you'll still end up waiting at minimum 30 minutes to get your food. I like the black pepper chicken and the fried rice except the description for fried rice says there will be onions and there never are. read more

I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce. It was so delicious. Will definitely return. The food was hot and ready within 15 minutes.

I love this place. Very nice service and good price. Also the food is delicious. Very clean

This would be ZERO stars if allowed. When I called to order I was told 40/45 mins. I arrived (allowing 45 mins for my order to be prepared). I walked into the restaurant full of people waiting for their orders also, gave my name and paid. I was told they would call my name when my order was ready (it should've been already). I proceeded to wait another half an hour at least and then asked for an update. I was told "just" another 7-8 mins. I instead asked for a refund, I was immediately provided one. It seemed like that must happen frequently. What a waste of time! The others waiting for their food were visibly agitated as well. I cannot attest to the quality or taste of their food and will not return to do so. read more

What a gem! We were just driving through but this is the type of place I wish was close to me. Friendly and helpful service, amazing food, clean restrooms. We got to try their new chicken sticks with peanut sauce. I am normally not a fan of peanut sauce but this was flavorful & different & better from what I expected. If you haven't tried Jasmine kitchen yet, give it a try! read more

We got takeout last evening from Jasmine. It was our first time there and we chose Jasmine based on the very positive reviews. We found the food and service to be excellent! Our order included Hunan Chicken, Hunan Beef (not spicy), Chicken & Broccoli and Chicken Lo Mein. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order. My husband wanted his Hunan Beef just a little spicy and he said it was perfectly prepared. We ordered the large size on everything and we have plenty of leftovers. We will definitely order from Jasmine again and highly recommend it for fresh and delicious Chinese food! read more

We tried this place after hearing the food was as good as Ho Wah's, and that one of the owners was related to Ho Wah's owners. We were so disappointed when Ho Wah closed because they had the best Chinese food in the area. We tried several other Chinese restaurants and none even came close, they were all blah. We had the chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. It was so delicious! It was as good, if not better than Ho Wah's food! We did takeout and when we picked it up the woman who waited on us was very pleasant and we also got 10% off our order. I highly recommend this place if you loved Ho Wah. You won't be disappointed! It's our new go to when we want Chinese food! read more

Overall the food was good, egg rolls were very good, chicken lo mein was bland, chow mein also was just Ok, orange chicken was good. Overall food was just okay. Safe to say I won't be going back to this restaurant. read more
