We ordered takeout for the first time on Valentine's Day. We usually frequent another Chinese restaurant but this one is conveniently located to our new home. Ordering online was easy and we were quoted 15 minutes for pickup time since they don't deliver right now. It ended up being closer to 30 minutes but they were slammed and the staff was really apologetic. Prices are good. Food is good, but we had a bit of trial and error in figuring out what food we'd like and what it would look like, since that seems to vary across restaurants in the area. For example, I ordered honey chicken expecting a sweet dark sauce on lightly breaded chicken since that's what "honey chicken" is at other restaurants. However, theirs is sweet and sour type chicken, just coated in a thick and sticky clear honey sauce with a ton of veggies (carrots, mushrooms, peppers). It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The chicken on a stick was good. The crab rangoons were the triangular shape I like but tasted a bit too oniony for my liking. The sweet and sour sauce was good. My husband liked his lo mein and was glad he got it with no veggies since their veggies include mushrooms (a first for us). They have the BEST pork fried rice I've tried at any Chinese restaurant around. I also like that they offer krab as a protein for things. We got the krab lo mein and it was good. Their boneless ribs were good, but a bit too dry and not sweet enough for me. It was a huge portion of them with lo mein for only $12ish dollars though. We will definitely order again!! Especially since their location is so convenient and the service was so good. Like I said, it's trial and error of figuring out what you like. read more

We wanted take out and everyone highly recommend New China of Camphill..(should be called old China)we the placed a $65 takeout order. We were excited for what was to come unfortunately what came was a meal full of disappointment..The rice was so hard.,The meals were cold the egg fu young was burnt, the bourbon chicken was hard and overcooked. This place sits back in end of strip mall. Not the easiest to find. The place itself in the dining area is very cluttered. And the rest of it shows wear.service was happy and pleasant.My order came out in a decent amount of time. There were nice sized chicken pieces in the General Tso's The egg roll had no pork in it that I could find. Maybe they are related to another local Chinese restaurant. lol The crab Rangoon seemed to be made in house. With everything I considered this place to Average. But at least it's not terrible with what was I doing tonight it was late and they were open. I would return. read more

Not impressed. I ordered their Mongolian beef, general tsos chicken, crab rangoons, spring rolls for dinner tonight. First off, their fried rice had this bad burnt after taste after a few bites I noticed burnt specks in the rice, now I've had Mongolian beef in a lot of other Chinese restaurants but this wasn't Mongolian beef, whatever it was, wasn't good, now on the positive note their crab rangoons were delicious along with their spring rolls. I'm only giving this place 3 stars for the crab Rangoons only. I'm not from PA, I'm only in town for the holidays but if I return to the area, I'll avoid ordering from this place-not worth $49.00. read more

Have gotten food from here twice. Crab Rangoon is my goto. The first time I got it, it was a little mushy, the air fryer took care of that though. The 2nd time, my wife noted "fried hard" and this time they came around nice and crispy. She is a bit picky and gets "plain fried rice", so no veggies in it. Both times the order has been correct. We go and pickup since it's right around the house and I don't believe they're doing delivery at the moment. She gets rib tips as well and has enjoyed them. I get chicken lo mein a lot now and I enjoy it. It's enough with the side or crab Rangoon. Definitely recommend. Next time we order I'll try to remember pics. read more

I ordered sesame chicken w/ pork fried rice. NOT GOOD AT ALL. Rice has no other flavor except oil and a weird spice that definitely is not Asian. Chicken is also flavorless. Also got a spring roll and a pork egg roll. The spring roll was undercooked and the pork egg roll was basically the only edible thing I ordered, but even that was flavorless. Rating this for exactly what it is - a cheap, strip mall Chinese food joint - it reallllly hits the spot. I visit from NYC and this place is still my go-to for my favorite chicken mai fun and sesame chicken (cooked well done with extra sesame seeds). I've been ordering for many years nearly every visit home with my dad and have never once been dissatisfied. Tonight I walked in at 9:29, not realizing they closed at 9:30 on Sundays. They still happily took my order and had it ready in the blink of an eye. I did tip nicely upon realizing I was that asshole every restaurant dreads. While I would happily sing their praises for food quality, stick to takeout or delivery. Their seating area is a little sketchy and in quite a state of disrepair. Don't let that deter you though! Ordered via DoorDash, my normal spot isn't open on Mondays. General Tso's chicken, veggie lo mein, sweet and sour shrimp, and crab rangoon. Sweet& sour sauce and general tso's sauce were both kind of watery. The sweet and sour shrimp looked like small donuts and we honestly thought they were onion rings when we got them out of the bag (see pic of one in my hand). They taste fine, there's just a ton of breading. Overall not bad, but probably not my first choice. read more

There's a certain charm to this small Chinese take-out restaurant. A grimy, laid-back mishmash of a place, where the dining room is obviously too large (as represented by the broken signs and wooden debris taking up space in the corner), the decor is questionable and haphazardly oriented, and handwritten specials are scrawled onto strategically ripped pieces of cardboard then taped to a half-illuminated menu board. The food is standard American-Chinese fare with the signature sweet and oily flavor. I usually order the Sesame chicken, which is sugary and crisp as expected. And anything else me or my friends have ordered has been consistently satisfactory. They also offer Sushi rolls, but while I love Sushi, I have not been brave enough to attempt raw fish from a place like this. This is a good take-out Chinese restaurant. It's not great and I do not recommend eating in-house unless you're hanging out with a bunch of friends (and possibly tipsy) as it is always empty and random broken items are stored in the eating area. Also DO NOT get the Spare Ribs. We watched as they were prepared and cringed as the same tongs were used to pick up raw ribs and then used again to take cooked ribs from the oven to fill orders. I stopped here because the rating was high. I think this is mostly take out. Has 4 booths and 4 tables for inside dinning. All the food was fresh. I got Moo Goo Gi Pan. It was fair. Wife had sweet and sour chicken; the chicken was good but the sweet and sour was thin and tasteless. The eggs rolls had good flavor but greasy. The hot and sour soup was terrible; no flavor, not spicy or sour. Overall I would not recommend. read more

We have been ordering food from here for years. The quality of food has gone way down. I ordered shrimp egg foo young, egg drop soup, 2 orderes of fried chicken wings and wonton soup to be delivered. The shrimp egg foo young was burnt. Chicken wings were way over cooked. They had to have seen that the shrimp egg foo young was burnt when they put it in the box. The wings were obviously over cooked. That is just rude to send out burnt food and charge for it.. We will never order from them again. Lazy and rude. read more

Decided to give this place a shot since it's close to home. Pickup was quick and my order was correct. The rice tasted old but otherwise everything else we ordered was good and fresh. When we walked in to pickup our order , we were promptly greeted and our order was ready when they said it would be. As a transplant to the area from a large metro area I am looking for good restaurants. The food was decent but a bit lacking in taste. Ordered delivery online. I don't know if the restaurant got the 'additional instructions', so next time I will call with any extra requests. The delivery was timely! (that never happens when I'm hungry, lol) We had to call when the food got here to use a credit card as payment. White rice: it SMELLED good. Fresh and cooked right. Vegetable lo mein: noodles were good, but not as many veggies as I like. I'd have preferred no green pepper slices, although they weren't overpowering. Fried dumplings: done right, not gooey. Dipping sauce was a smooth blend, tasty. BBQ ribs: tasty also, not dry or chewy. Double delight with cashew nuts: good. Veggies included green pepper chunks. (not my thing, but good to know if you get this) Chicken lo mein combo platter: would have been perfect if they got the note to add more chicken (which we'd pay for). Food was good. Service was good. Their Chow fun is so good that even though I'm from Flushing, Queens I think this is the best I've had yet.
