A tremendous experience and a great party bus! I sent the request for a quote through yelp and spoke to Mike not long after. I got married and had a bridal party of 20. The party bus we got fit about 35 and was absolutely perfect. The ride was clean, fully stocked, ,and the driver was punctual. The driver was super friendly and did very well driving the bus through tiny side streets. Overall, we were all very very satisfied. Mike was great to work with. Our first shuttle which took us around the city for pictures for our wedding was a good experience. We ended up having issues with the shuttle that was to transport guests from the wedding venue back to the hotel. The addresses were given to Mike before hand, however the driver dropped the first load of people off at the wrong hotel, initially. It took him one hour and 20 minutes to return back to the venue to pick up the next load of people; at this time Google Maps was showing a 16 minute trip one way. We had initially planned for it to take about 35 to 45 minutes for back-and-forth round-trip transportation for our guests. Because of the issue that we ended up having, half of our guests ended up Ubering back to the hotel and we only were able to have two round trips for our guests from the venue. read more

I was very happy with my Limotainment experience. Mike was very attentive and professional. He met competitive pricing and upgraded us free of charge at the last minute to his largest bus that was available. The booking process was easy as well. He was always easy to get ahold of. We were in contact throughout the whole process which was simple and straightforward. The bus was beautiful and had a great sound system and lights that really set the scene for a good time. The bus was stocked with champagne and beer that was included with our booking. Our driver, Priest, was very fun and friendly and did a great job of navigating the giant bus through the busy streets of downtown Chicago. I thought I had mistakenly overpaid cash and Mike refunded a portion of my payment with the "customer is always right" mentality. He went above and beyond in customer service. After our close friend's recommended to go with Mike and Limotainment, we received a competitive quote for our large 30-seat party bus for the day of our wedding. Priest, the best there is, arrived quickly to first pick up the bridal party and get them over for our First Look and pictures ahead of the wedding. We were looking for a bus company that was affordable, reliable, clean and lacked stripper poles. I wouldn't think that was too much to ask, but in our search, that turned out to be a fairly tall order. However, from start to finish, Limotainment didn't disappoint. Mike was quick to reach out to schedule our event and efficient with checking in leading up to the day. The bus arrived early, nice and cool (it was a HOT day) and was completely stocked with everything we would need. In addition, the sound system was bumping and the bus was very clean and comfortable. We used Limotainment to shuttle the wedding party around for photographs for our wedding on November 2nd. I sent Mike an initial email about 6 months prior to the wedding, and he responded promptly and answered all of my questions. That same professionalism carried out in all of our correspondence up until the wedding date. On the day of the wedding, the limo bus was clean and stocked with alcohol. They arrived 10 minutes early, and called me to let me know they had arrived and to take our time. Mike and our driver were professional and courteous. Mike acts as a "concierge" and worked with our photographers to get us to the locations, and waited on the side of the road while we took pictures. He even helped the girls get out of the bus. It was a chilly day, and it was nice to have a warm limo bus to get back to in between pictures. Overall, I would highly recommend Limotainment for a great, stylish ride and professional service. Major disappointment. We ordered this bus for our wedding party as we planned to take pictures around the city. We allotted 4 hours for the trip just in case of traffic and we planned to get in 3 picture stops with our bridal party. We planned to take pictures at the board of trade, lincoln park and north avenue beach... We booked limotainment 6-7 months in advance and they seemed amazing when talking with them. They promised us their largest air conditioned party bus because we had 26 in our wedding party and reassured us it would be well stocked with champagne and beer for everyone to enjoy during the pictures and 3-4 hours traveling on the bus. However, on the day of our wedding, the dilapidated bus pulled up and we all got in and quickly realized The air conditioning was barely working. Needless to say, we were all sweating the entire time. Gross! Also, the bus was skimpily stocked with 2 bottles of champagne and 1.5 cases of beer which was gone in about 30 mins with 26 ppl having one drink and some were lucky enough to get two. To make matters worse, the driver drove us down to the board of trade to take pictures. After the board of trade pics, the driver refused to take lake shore drive to get to north ave beach or lincoln park, and instead he drove all the way south to columbus (out of the way) and then went all the way back through the city because he wanted to take clark street to lincoln park?!? Needless to say it took 2 hours to get from the board of trade to Lincoln park and by the time pictures were over at lincoln park, 3.5 hours had gone by, people were sweaty (and thirsty) and we needed to be back for our wedding so we decided we could not get the third stop in (bc he would not use lake shore drive) and it would be cutting it to close to when we needed to be back. We truly only needed 2 -2.5 hours for these pictures and we purposely cushioned our time and booked 4 hours, AND we still didnt even get in our three stops around the city. Luckily our wedding still ended up being amazing, however if we could do it all over again we would NOT use limotainment, as they did not pan out as planned. Major disappointment. read more

I've taken Limotainment on a few occasions now. The first was a concert with friends at Allstate Arena. We were only able to rent out half of one of the luxury party buses. Mike (the owner) helped us out - and we combined with another small group that was going to the same concert. It was an amazing time. Everything went smoothly, even with two groups. The next time we went to a concert in the suburbs somewhere. This time we had a large enough group - and I organized. I spoke with Mike directly and again it was a great experience from beginning to end. Most recently, I recommended Limotainment to a buddy who was having a bachelor party in the city. They needed a party bus to organize transportation for 20 people from 2pm till 10pm. The best man took care of the details...but once again - no matter who was doing the organizing, the same experience with this company has always been the same. I recently moved to San Francisco - but I'll be back for a few bachelor parties and weddings in Chicago this summer. I'm not sure if we'll need a limobus - but if we do, it'll definitely be Limotainment. read more

First time using Limotainment and will use again. Rented a party bus for our wedding to take pictures around the city before the reception. From the beginning Mike was very quick to reply and extremely helpful. He made booking efficient and easy. He made sure everything was arrange beforehand so things would go smooth on the day of without any extra effort from our end. The day before the wedding there was a problem with the bus, Ford mechanics screwed up, it was no fault of Mike and completely unpredictable and unavoidable. Mike did everything he had to to make sure we had the bus we wanted and that everything went smooth. He had to arrange for a different company to take our contract. He kept communicating throughout the problem and made sure I knew everything would be handled and there would be no problems. Honestly, if he didn't have such great communication I would have never know that there was an issue. Although there was this minor hiccup he arranged everything, there was not a single thing I had to do. If one can handle everything perfectly when there is a problem, without inconveniencing the client at all, the rest is a piece of cake. He is very dedicated to his clients. The bus and everything was PERFECT, we had a great time. I fully recommend Limotainment and will use again and refer friends. read more

He is easy to communicate with, makes himself incredibly accessible, explains the entire limo charter process, and makes sure his customers are completely satisfied. Our driver Ernest showed up early (amazing). He drove us to our destination, made sure all of the guests were comfortable, allowed us to arrive punctually to our event, waited for the event to end, and drove us all back to final destination! He was so kind and truly made everyone feel comfortable. The limos come fully stocked, they have great sound systems that are easy to use, and they are incredibly clean. We ordered a party bus through Limotainment for a concert during the summer and it was a terrible experience. We provided the address of the residence in which we were to be picked up from weeks in advance. The driver then called my cell phone to not only confirm the residence but have me direct him to the location. He would not plug in the location to his phone / GPS which resulted in him getting lost and then showing up 45 minutes late to our agreed upon pickup time. Then, shortly after his arrival, the driver asked for the tip for the night before we had even taken off. Extremely unprofessional. The pickup wasn't smooth either as the driver insisted on us calling him when we were ready at our pickup location rather than him being ready to pick us up. We were blown away by the complete lack of customer service. It was no surprise that following the event, there were no messages / emails to ask about our experience or what could have been improved. I will never use Limotainment again following that experience. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I was so disappointed in this that I'm writing it on my honeymoon in Hawaii. I have no issue with Mike he was great to work with, but our limo driver Dave was bad, and the bus was just unsafe. Before I even got on the bus, my bridal party and husband met me and the photographer somewhere for our first look. They all informed me that the bus sounded AWFUL - as if it was going to explode... Dave told them that the defroster wires were disconnected and that they didn't work. It was snowing, raining, and sleeting on my wedding day - he was wiping the front windshield with his hand as he was driving. The front left headlight was out on the bus - and he wouldn't let anyone help him with directions. At one point he told someone to sit back down and let him do his job. Even though his phone was telling him to turn right, he was turning left, I then had to stand up and basically say "HEY- CAN YOU PLEASE TURN RIGHT AND NOT LEFT" Before, he looked down at his phone and said "oh yeah, I guess it does say right." On top of all of this - it smelled like a urinal/porta-potty/pee in the entire front cab of the limo. He got angry when we wanted to use our phone for music, saying it would distract him, yet he was wiping the windshield with his own hand as he was driving in awful conditions? I had HIGH hopes for this as my wedding day transportation considering that it had 5 star reviews, and was good with communication, but I think I could've probably gone anywhere else and felt safer/better about my experience. **I contacted Mike about this & he said to call him to discuss, however I called him, there was no answer, and I then emailed him letting him know that I was NOT looking for any money back or anything in return, but I do think that people should know about this experience. Never got a response to the email stating I didn't want anything, just didn't think it was acceptable, so here's my review. read more

I took my staff out for our bi-annual Employee appreciation party a few weeks ago and for the first time I decided to use this company and it could not have worked out any better. Mike was my point of contact and was awesome to work with. It was very easy to get it all set up and he even met me at my first pick up site just to say hi. My wife and I just got married this weekend and made a last minute decision the Thursday before the wedding to book a party bus for our bridal party between taking photos and the ceremony. We called up and spoke to the owner Mike who advised they didn't have any large party buses left so I booked their smaller bus. I called and spoke to my wife and she found another place that did have bigger buses available. I called Mike again and he was so gracious in letting us cancel after having already run my credit card.
