*** I saw Butler's Limousine on Bay Area Half Off. They advertised an 8 hour limo special for 10…read morepeople for $470.00. I thought this sounded fair so I got 9 friends together, called and made our reservations. On Aug 24th, all 10 of us met and our driver, Michael, picked us up right on time. During the course of our trip, we asked Michael how much we would get charged per hour if we wanted to go over our allotted time. Michael called his dispatch center who quoted him $90.00 and hour. We did end up going over two hours therefore, I fully expected to pay the extra $180.00. Much to my surprise, Butler's Limo Service charged my credit card $419.00 for those two hours. I spent a full 2 days trying to get in touch with someone who could resolve the issue for me. Of course, no one returned my phone calls. Finally, I decided to call the driver, Michael. Michael was kind enough to call Steve for me and asked that Steve call me. Steve did call and he assured me my credit card would be refunded $239.00 for the overcharge. Steve told me it would take 14-21 days to receive the credit which I did not understand because they had no problems charging my credit card in the first place. Anyway, it has been over 21 days and no credit. Of course, I once again started with the phone calls and no one is available and/or no one returns my phone calls. In addition, I have sent two e-mails to the owner STEVEN A. JONES with no response. I have been forced to file a complaint with the BBB, CPUC, the government organization that regulates cabs/limousine services, I am disputing the charges with my credit card company, and I am seeking information on how to file a fraudelant transaction complaint against Butler's. Since the theft of my $239.00, I have found out that a certain advertising site dumped Butler's Limousine Service from their contract for "shady business". If you do decide to use this service, reconsider!!!! I highly recommend you look elsewhere. If you do use this sham of a business, do not give them a credit card, because they just charge whatever they want and you can not reach people to get your stolen money back.

Not only was Girma on time, courteous, pleasant, helpful, safe, and smart, he has experience with how best to approach the child seat situation (if you are not traveling with your car seat, but just need it to get your kids to the airport, he will put your carseat in his car, take you to the airport, then HOLD ON TO IT, and bring it to the airport to pick you up and your kids. Amazing!) When our family landed after a long and exhausting travel day, Girma was right there to take us home, and we could all collapse into the car and go limp while he dropped us off at our home in Berkeley. Highly recommend! Forget rideshares, vans, or leaving your car at the airport. Use Pedal. The app is easy and works great, and you can also phone and get answers to all your questions. In short, Pedal Limousine was the only thing that was EASY when we traveled with a 7 yo and a 1.5 yo. Thank you Girma!

Their driving may have been professional, but their customer service is no where near professional. I called Professional Driver to get a quick quote for a limo service. The rep picked up the phone and sounded impatient. After I told him the date that I needed and the number of people that will need to be transported, he quickly sells me that a trip was cancelled and a limo was available that day. I then told him how many hours I needed and he quickly interrupted me and told me that they don't do short duration. He stated that they only book clients who need more than 5 hours and that I need to go else where and they cannot help me. It would have been an acceptable answer, except, he was extremely condescending and sounded like I don't deserve his business. 30 minutes later, I get a call back from the same place and he asked me if I still need to book the trip so I thought they had a change of mind and wanted my business again. He told me to hold and put Sunny (Manager?) on the line for a conference call and said that I was looking for a party bus and need help booking it. I corrected him and told them what I needed and he quickly rejected me again for the same reasons and completely ignored me while him and Sunny was having a conversation. From my little encounter with them, it seems like the only thing they're after is profit and customer service is NOT a priority. If you want a quick shuttle from point A to point B, this may be the place to go. But if you're looking for a good experience, you may need to seek elsewhere.

Simply flagging down a Skycap was OUT of the question for him... my parents are not from here and dont even know what a Skycap is. This is not service. There is also hidden charges like $30 charges for being 15 minutes pickup late not communicated up front (when I booked the reservation) It took me 10 seconds to flag down a Skycap. No skin off their back. Just knowing they wear a cap and eager to help you at the curbside (reading Kevin comments he couldn't even spell skycap, not skycaB). Kevin H. (owner) being asian says and respects elders, but wont lift a single finger to help out. Only quoting that his liabilities and only needs to get them to the curbside. Heck, what are they going to do next, throw you out with luggage, regardless of the handicap status? BTW: Liability Kevin mentions is not applicable for Handicapped status as I've stated on the phone (and have the plaque to prove it). People in wheelchair doesn't mean they are involate... treating them as 2nd class citizen is also illegal. Police at SFO also honors Handicap plaque as I told Kevin. In short, this was too much trouble for him... so he literally pushed us out. When it could have and should have been resolved by flagging down a skycap to service the handicap needs (10 seconds... zero liability). I've used MANY limo companies out there that will bend over backwards to help you. This aint on of them! Later offline Kevin asked me to take down this review as he wouldn't offer me the service to improve the rating. I rather people be honest and use Yelp as simple advisory for quality of service. If the law of averages hold up, I will be the odd man out. Let you be the judge... just don't appreciate system being gamed. Next time you call them up, pay attention to how they answer the phone. They dont answer with "Town Limo"... but something completely different. Quoting Hamlet (Shakespeare): "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark"
