This driving service is extremely unprofessional. I called the number listed on their website that stated they did wine tours in Sonoma. After calling to get a quote, he told me the drive from their base in Walnut Creek to Sonoma would take 2 hours and bumped up the original quote. He then tried to get me to confirm on the limo right away, which I did not do because I needed to check with the rest of the group on this new price. Check out this text at his response. This review is strictly for the phone conversations with the representative at Professional Driver Limo. I did not use their service. Their driving may have been professional, but their customer service is no where near professional. I called Professional Driver to get a quick quote for a limo service. The rep picked up the phone and sounded impatient. After I told him the date that I needed and the number of people that will need to be transported, he quickly sells me that a trip was cancelled and a limo was available that day. I then told him how many hours I needed and he quickly interrupted me and told me that they don't do short duration. He stated that they only book clients who need more than 5 hours and that I need to go else where and they cannot help me. It would have been an acceptable answer, except, he was extremely condescending and sounded like I don't deserve his business. 30 minutes later, I get a call back from the same place and he asked me if I still need to book the trip so I thought they had a change of mind and wanted my business again. He told me to hold and put Sunny (Manager?) on the line for a conference call and said that I was looking for a party bus and need help booking it. I corrected him and told them what I needed and he quickly rejected me again for the same reasons and completely ignored me while him and Sunny was having a conversation. From my little encounter with them, it seems like the only thing they're after is profit and customer service is NOT a priority. If you want a quick shuttle from point A to point B, this may be the place to go. But if you're looking for a good experience, you may need to seek elsewhere. read more

This review is based on customer service alone since we originally booked a charter with Jon at Pro Driver, however needed a larger SUV accommodate our party which had to add a few more people last minute. Jon, who I believe is the owner of Pro Driver, was very helpful in referring and booking this for my company with A & H Limo who they partner with. Both companies seem like a smaller business, but it didn't feel like it with the amount of attention and customer service they provided. Just from point of contact alone when I was inquiring about a quote, Jon tailored a clean quote sheet and response email within a few hours. Pick was early, the drive was smooth, Charles was excellent as was the car, ride home was relaxing. So it suddenly hit me--I had another Harvest Party to go to why the hell drive. With less than 4 days notice John accommodated me again without any issues. Service excellence = repeat booking. Pro Driver will be driving us to Cirque du Soleil in November. I have used this service several times for airport rides. Driver always shows up early, but never rushes us. We always have plenty of time at the airport because of the good driving. We travel first class in the air and with this service we travel first class on the ground too. One time I miss calculated the amount of cash I needed to pay the driver. He said it was no problem and didn't bother me even though it was almost two weeks before I got back to him and payed him the money I owed him. Not recommended way to treat this service, but it just shows how good and understanding they are about taking care of their customers. Five days before my family's big birthday celebration in S.F., I called one of the larger limousine services to confirm the price and vehicle I had been quoted the previous week. (It took 5 phone calls the get a live person.) There was a "misunderstanding" regarding the price & type of vehicle, so I wasn't comfortable proceeding w/the confirmation. I called Professional Driver Limousine Services, and had a very pleasant conversation w/John. He described the vehicle we would be riding in, and assured me there would be no cigarette smell. (3 of us are asthmatic.) Surprisingly, his price quote was $170 less than the big limo company's quote! Bud (our driver), arrived exactly on time in an immaculately clean limo. He was so very polite and helpful getting everyone in and out of the vehicle. We had brought our own champagne & beer, which we drank on the way to the City. The limo was stocked w/glasses, napkins, ice, soda and water. (And a complimentary bottle of champagne.) There was a little glitch in the sound system, but we worked it out. We were actually delivered to the restaurant a few minutes early. (On a Sat. night!) When Bud arrived to pick us up after dinner, all of the barware had been replaced w/ clean items. Plus, another bottle of champagne was on ice. Bud got us home right on time. He couldn't have been any more accommodating. From start to finish, I found Professional Driver Limousine Services to be exactly that......very professional.......in addition to being pleasant, accommodating, clean and reasonably priced. I travel for work, fly out Monday and back in on thursday. For this past year which was about 100 flights Jon was NEVER LATE. As a person who travels often it's important to know you can depend on someone week in and week out. Before every flight Jon sends reminders about the time and location of pick up. Another part of constant travel is unforseen circumstances and Jon has always been accommodating to last minute flight changes due to weather or business needs. I've used the service four times so far. Jon McHenry was prompt (actually arrived early), courteous, friendly and an extremely safe and efficient driver. I usually take BART to and from the airport / Walnut Creek. the hassle of dealing with a driver, their attitude, etc isn't worth the cost. But we were flying in form the East coast at midnight. Our first trip to SFO there was some confusion on the date and time. Jon was very professional with how he handled our change and had us to the airport in a timely and comfortable manner.
