They ultimately ghosted me and I began desperately looking for a new company to help me. Several dead end efforts finally brought me to Critter Authority. After speaking to Rachel, she made an appt for me and the next day Mike arrived promptly. He was professional, personable, and shared with me photos of the damage and an assessment of all action that needed to be taken. I was given an estimate and all of my questions were answered before I made my decision to hire Critter Authority. I wish I had contacted them first (in early July) to get on the inevitable waiting list to get rid of this mess. I will be leaving another review after the removal and treatment scheduled for October 27th.

Around May last year (yes I know this review is super overdue), I had an issue with birds in my…read morewalls. Basically a mother bird found a tiny hole between my roof and walls and built a nest and HATCHED a bunch of babies in my walls. I could hear them day and night. I wasn't sure what kind of pest it was but I called around after seeing a tiny bird head peaking out and the mother flying around feeding worms. Anyways, I called Paul who gave me a very reasonable price quote (definitely cheaper than everyone else I called) about removing the birds. Someone (not Paul) came out 2 days later but unfortunately, the nest was so far in that they wouldn't move the babies out without either damaging my wall more or hurting the birds. They DID however recommend that I wait another week bc the birds looked ready to fly out, and told me to seal the hole when the birds literally leave the nest. I was not charged for the visit.

I had a bat flying around my bedroom at 1 am, called the next day -asked for help to remove it. 2 employees showed up "looked around" my bedroom told me it was gone . The owner charged me $185. At 2 am the next night I woke up the bat fluttering around in my laundry basket and has to remove it myself- nearly petrified to go back into my bedroom again . I called the owner suggesting I shouldn't be charged $185 when I had to remove it myself and he believed otherwise. Said we should blame Mother Nature.

They started coming (for example) June 26th then again on July 6th. They would not come twice in a month but every 12-15 days. I called in June to request my date of service be only during the last week of the month. They said ok and kept coming every 14 days. I called in July to cancel the service and end the contract. The phone agent said she would have the supervisor contact me. I asked if I needed to cancel in writing and was told it was not necessary. Of course I never got a call and a text was sent while I was at work saying my technician was close by. I tried to call but I was on hold for 20 minutes. My card was charged for another month. I called again and got the same spill about a supervisor calling me back that never happened. Fast forward to today and I get a text saying my technician is in the way. I was beyond annoyed. I was serviced on Aug. 22 and again on Sept.11. Today is Oct 2! Once every 30 days was the agreement. Luckily, I was home and able to wait for the tech. I called while the company to let them know I had canceled their service and that I had contacted my card company and blocked them from making any more charges as well as locked my card. Again I was put on hold and then told a supervisor would call me. Once the tech arrived, he had been to my home before and he was very kind. I told him what was going on and told him he could collect the boxes. He said he understood and would cancel my service from his end. Much to my surprise (not!) I get a call about 20 minutes later for someone from the company. She apologized and said she can see the notes that I canceled in JULY ( it is now October) but she doesn't know what happened. I don't believe her. Nonetheless, skip this company if you need expected honest from them. The techs are friendly and kind. The "supervisors" are scammers! $85 every 14 days verses once every 30 days gets costly.
