Location: 2.5 / 5 Walking in felt a little like being the last to show up to the family reunion. The regulars confusingly studied us like we were distant "Couzins" whose name they forgot. The bartender (aka Aunt Carol), clearly surprised to have visitors, directed us to grab a table from the storage/dining area and await further instruction. Presentation: 3 / 5 While waiting for our wings, Uncle Carl from the kitchen came out and brought us a stack of non-descript paper products, which we thought were for garbage, but it turned out those would be our plates. Otherwise nothing special or offensive in the way these wings were presented. Meat: 3.5 / 5 Some flats were not cut well and had some exposed tips (i.e. the "hand" part of the chicken wing, typically reserved for Grandma's stock pot) which is not ideal but also not unusual. Cook: 8.5 / 10 These ate pretty good. Even the slippery-looking ones were cooked decently. Like when dad runs the grill -- the burgers may not be the best, but you know it's not the cook's fault. Medium Wing: 11.5 / 15 Not *bad* but under-flavored. We believe they made the common mistake of using too much butter (just like your mother-in-law) which doesn't add spice or memorability, just tolerability. I've been going here sporadically for decades, it's a no frills dive with a local drinking crowd. Drinks are cheap as hell, which is refreshing after living in South Florida for a decade. My best friend built a home that happens to be a half mile from the bar, which is convenient for me to hit up when visiting from Florida. Jukebox, mediocre TV's for sports, a shot and a beer kind of place. Tiny bar food menu- but there's only one thing you need to order here. The chicken wings are insanely good. There's no cook, the bartender disappears to cook them every once in a while. We got hot BBQ, and they were gas!! Blown away by the fried perfection. Really crispy, meaty, and the house made sauces are incredible. Fun fact, the owners are from Eden NY, and have a son Alex Iafallo who is a damn good NHL hockey player!
