Had dinner on the evening of June 28th. We had five adults and a three year old whom we did not order a meal for, all she ate was the miso soup that came with the adult meals. We split the bill into two and they automatically charged both tickets with automatic tips, as if we had a party of six (six meal orders). I asked why the automatic tips and the waitress stated we had a party of six. Why, why, why? read more

I was excited seeing all the reviews but our food was terrible. It didn't even taste like pad Thai to me. The Mongolian beef didn't taste good. And non of it is made to order, it all came out so fast. They must have a buffet back there. Ordered spring and egg rolls and couldn't even tell which was which read more

The two times our group had eaten dinner at Limeleaf, the food was decent but the employees allowed children to scream and yell while they ran up and down the aisle between tables! The first time it happened, I figured it was just a one time issue. Months later, it happened again! So, I'm done. read more

Love the food. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity. However, for a nice eating experience, unruly children should not be permitted. I know that's not the restaurant's fault, but if the culture is established, we'd go more often. read more

Great spot in Eagle River clean and fast service! Every employee was friendly and helpful we stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't packed but had a decent amount of tables. From the outside it looked more like an office than a restaurant but it was well decorated and great ambiance. Rolls were delicious we got the spicy ebi and spicy tuna. Maguro nigiri was fresh and the portion of fish was large I wish I had snapped a picture. Overall recommend for a nice quick meal read more

This place is wonderful. Nice atmosphere. Great service! We had two of the dinner specials, which were reasonably priced and huge portions. Everything was delicious, and they had no problem accommodating my celiac disease. You should try this place. read more

We are frequent visitors to Limeleaf but our last visit was our last visit. I have never had such horrendous service; the staff member I dealt with was downright rude. My appetizer came and tasted moldy, instead of apologizing and offering to remake it, she took the plate, glared at me, and stormed off. Wow. The food is usually great, so I was surprised to say the least and I was very kind about it having worked for years in food service myself. A private email to the owners went unanswered which was a further disappointment. read more

What a gem. This place was comfortable with one heck of a menu. The nigiri pieces were generous and of high quality. The hot and sour soup was one of the best I've had. The fried unagi-based roll hit the spot with its eely goodness. Would recommend. read more

The ambiance in this Asian/Sushi restaurant was so inviting and relaxing. You could tell right away that the food was authentic and most importantly it tastes and looked so amazing as well! The Asian decor made you feel like you were stepping into the Asian culture. The staff was very friendly and helpful in choosing the appropriate dishes. I was happy that they served local brew on tap and that it was served in a tall glass! The sushi selection was very diverse, which as a sushi lover made me very happy! I was able to choose multiple sushi dishes with Eel and spicy rolls as well. I got the fireball which was spicy but from a spice lover, I'd say it was a medium amount of spicy and perfectly balanced, I loved it! Next, is the deep-fried da bomb roll and I'd say it was named appropriately because it was fantastic! The rice was so good that the couple I was with was fighting over it, haha Lastly, when your dining with couples, we didn't feel rushed but were able to take our time and enough our meal! I 100% recommend this restaurant! read more

First time eating in at the Lime Leaf, we were greeted by the hostess who was very pleasant, we were seated very quickly. Looking around the restaurant I noticed a beautiful finishes, lighting and authentic Asian inspired decor. The wait staff was equally pleasant and expeditious to bring drinks and take our order. I ordered an app of egg roll and an entree of broccoli beef while she had the shrimp tempura and beef broccoli also. The egg roll was very crunchy in the outside while perfectly cooked on the inside. The beef broccoli came with a rice ball, had good flavor but the sauce was very salty. Overall good but could have been better with less salt. Overall a good meal and experience. read more

So excited Eagle River got another great Asian restaurant! We ordered takeout and everything went smoothly. The hostess on the phone was incredibly polite and the food was ready to go quick. Here's my food breakdown: I got the spicy ebi roll and while it was really good, I don't feel that it's worth 21$. I've had specialty rolls from other places that are just as good and go for 13-16$, so not worth it for me. My husband had the Mongolian beef, and I tried a few bites of it and it was great. The beef was so tender and saucy. It was also a huge portion size, definitely enough for 2-3 servings, so that in I'm opinion is definitely worth it. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to try other things on the menu! read more

This place just opened here in Eagle River. I am always so excited when something new opens here in our small town! I have been to Basil Ginger out in Wasilla which it is affiliated with. I was hoping the prices would not be as unreasonable as there...I was wrong. Here's the good things: it's brand new and beautiful. The prawn appetizer was good. The end. Service was fine, nothing special. The sushi pairs are almost if not double the price as other places locally. We opted for the fried rice and kung po. If I'm being honest, the same dishes next door at Panda Express are better. Disclaimer: I will pay good money for good food. Paying these prices for less than mediocre food is just not ok. You can go to Kim's or Jimmy's sushi in town for better sushi and way better prices. read more

Outstanding service, consistently. The food is also consistent and while it may not be winning any Michelin stars, it is delicious. Great place to grab dinner after work and relax. read more

Food arrived very fast! Server had a great sense of humor and brought my husband a sample of their Thai tea without asking to make sure he liked it first (he did)! read more

The owner did reach out to me with kindness. Apologizing that I did not like the food. And offering to refund my money which I turned down and told the owner that I totally appreciate it that they took that step to reach out. So maybe I will try again when it's slower there. read more

This place was fantastic before covid, when they ended up shutting down for a couple years. When they reopened, the food had turned to overpriced "meh." Sincerely, it's now Panda Express on a nice plate. read more

Super friendly and nice staff! The dinner specials are a really good bang for buck. I got the sesame chicken and spicy tuna roll, but it tasted like orange chicken. Other than that I'm pleased!! read more

Valentine's Day was our third visit to Limeleaf, and I think the best experience so far. Our reservation for two on a major holiday was for 6PM, and we were seated perhaps ten minutes early at a four-place table, with perhaps 50% occupancy of the restaurant (it got busier later on). Our server made an excellent suggestion of a cold Nigori sake, which proved delightful, and our appetizers of chicken lettuce wrap and coconut shrimp were heavenly. I had a sushi/sashimi combination, she the Mongolian beef special, and these, too, were highly enjoyable. MINE, of course, was better--fresh, neatly prepared, of FINE quality. As usual, service was prompt, attentive, yet unobtrusive. All in all, Limeleaf has become our 'go-to' restaurant in Eagle River. Our sole complaint isn't really under the control of the restaurant, I expect, and that's the parking situation. The lot is cramped and poorly lit, with bunches of sharp right-angle turns and little space between rows of vehicles--which explains how our truck got backed into while parked. Ah, well. read more

Recently, July 2023 one of our family members suggested trying this place. Our visit was a very pleasant and surprising experience. It is nice looking from the outside with plenty of parking. The interior decor was so different than most places we've visited in Alaska. The place is beautiful and the aromas coming from the kitchen smelled amazing. We were greeted right away and seated quickly. Our server came over, welcomed us and introduced himself. Erickson was great and he made us feel welcome. Once he learned it was our first visit he offered some suggestions. We had heard about how good the lettuce wraps were and decided to try those as an appetizer. We also had one of the entrees and one dinner special. Everything looked, smelled and tasted amazing! We will be back soon to try some of their other choices. read more

Asian Fusion at its finest. So glad they are back open. The food is top shelf and the service is great. Love the steak!

We visited Limeleaf for the first time last night and it did NOT disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful and clean, service was great and the food was phenomenal! We ordered everything from sushi to Thai food and it was all delicious and came out quickly! Good sized parking lot and nice clean restrooms as well. We will definitely be going back! read more

Wife and I decided to try this new place for date night, especially since we heard they are owners of Basil Ginger in Wasilla, which we loved. Not up to par. My jumbo shrimp prawns where burned in the walnut mix, I could taste the burned oil. My wife's shrimp cakes where undercooked and too greasy. I hinted my food was burned/overcooked and got no feedback. Overall the staff and waiting was a very un organized young group of girls. At the end of the night my luke warm beer washed it down, not impressed with my $90 bill. Also, who puts jalapeño's in Mongolian beef? read more

We hadn't tried Limeleaf but were looking for new local spots. A coworker recommended, so we decided to try! We order three sushi rolls and some dumplings for pick-up and it was so good! My only regret is that we didn't get more! Bonus points that it's about 5 min from my house! Will order again! read more

Lime Leaf is one of the best restaurants in the pacific west! The service is great! We ordered a lot of food and did a family style, they were quick to remove empty dishes. Every dish we ordered just blew me away. The classics were a step up from your average Asian restaurant. Definitely get the Lettuce Wrap appetizer, Giant Tiger Shrimp, and the Pad Thai!! I will be stopping by the restaurant every time I'm in Anchorage!! read more

Food, service and ambiance... they hit all three out of the ball park. The food was fantastic. The wait staff was highly attentive and very accurate. It was my first time and it's good to see a nice restaurant in Eagle River. I will return. read more

Went there for the first time today to check it out. Interior. 5 stars. Beautiful Food. 3 stars. I didn't like some of what I got. Super disappointed in the Fresh Roles. Twice the price and full of lettuce and too little shrimp. Basically tasted like lettuce. Didn't care for the General Tso Chicken but the Chicken Lo Mein was good. Service. 4 stars. Good but a little too attentive. They came to the table probably 6 times during our meal. read more

The atmosphere in here is beautiful. I love the peaceful ambience. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed the freshness, creativity on presentation and the flavors. We tried the chicken curry. The broth was sooooo good. We got the paid Thai with shrimp and it was yummy. We got the rainbow roll and that was devoured immediately. That was fresh and flavorful. We got the Tom yum soup and enjoyed the flavor and low spice level. The gyoza was alright. We didn't like that as much. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes. read more

First time for dinner on Saturday, didn't realize needed a reservation. Short wait for a table. We all ended up getting dinner specials, $24. I'm so mad that it took me so long to go here's. To be fair, the sign doesn't look like a restaurant sign so for a long time I thought it was a health food store. I'm mad at myself for that.
