Thank you Dolly for such kind service! First time at Lime and Salt in Odenton and it did not disappoint! I tried the Guava drink, the sorrel, and the Texcoco burrito -- everything was bursting with flavor and so fresh. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp fajitas and loved them -- they came sizzling hot and well-seasoned. The drinks were refreshing and unique, and the portions were generous (although more pricey). On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe inside was welcoming. Definitely a new favorite spot for us, and we'll be back soon!

Lovely spot for cocktails and appetizers. Def recommend this as a date spot as the restaurant is small inside. There is outside seating available which can be nice depending on the weather. Our waitress was attentive and made sure to bring water refills (which is helpful). We will be back another time, great local spot.

Easy going vibe for some tacos and spicy margaritas tacos, on a Saturday afternoon. The food is always good here, the drinks too. This place has become a neighborhood place to visit for guaranteed satisfaction. The ambiance is always convivial.

Meche-Rae (sangria and margarita mixed together)

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little skeptical about visiting Lime and Salt. I'm so glad I threw caution to the wind and stopped by to have a bite to eat. I met up with my BFF and we were so excited to try the food and drinks! Located within a strip of store fronts, Lime and Salt was a very unexpected surprise for the palate. They have outdoor seating, as well as indoor and take-out options. The restaurant is small in size, but it's big on flavor. We were seated promptly and checked out the menu options. Our server was Lauren and she was excellent! Great customer service and very attentive! I started off the night with the chips and guacamole and the Meche-Rae drink. Now one might say I ordered this drink because it had a piece of my name, which is absolutely true, however, I also got it because it consisted of a mix of a margarita and sangria. Absolutely delicious! The Guac was really good and fresh too! For my main entree, I ordered the tinga enchiladas and a Al Pastor taco! The food was very good and flavorful! I loved each and every bite! My BFF loved her food, as well. The restaurant can get pretty loud because of its size, but it wasn't to the point that we couldn't hear each other. The decor is extremely casual and the vibe is friendly. Long story short, we were impressed and glad we gave it a try! We will absolutely be return customers.

Margarita pitcher for National Margarita Day!

National Margarita Day was my first time trying this spot out. It did not disappoint! The margarita pitcher was perfect for the three of us! My combination meal was excellent. The chile relleno was spectacular! Our server was very polite and kind. The place started getting crowded around 3:30 pm on a Saturday, which is great for them! Very cool spot for some delicious drinks, tasty food and fun vibes!

This is my first time dining at Lime and Salt in over 3 years. I decided to try something from my norm and get takeout from here. The restaurant is a neighborhood favorite and is literally always packed and patrons always seem to be in good spirits especially when dining in the outdoor area. The to go food did not disappoint and left my boyfriend and I stuffed and happy. Below includes our review of our food: Steak Burrito - 5/5 tasty and filling! Shrimp Tacos - 5/5 delicious and a nice bang for your buck! Chicken Tinga Taco - 4/5 a large and flavorful taco but the chicken was a tad dry Barbacoa Taco - 3/5 a decent taco but nothing exciting. The shell also became soggy in transport and I love less than 10 minutes away. Guacamole - 3/5 flavorful but at least 1/3 was brown so I questioned the freshness Black Beans - 5/5 some of the best I've ever had! I believe they have brunch and happy hour so I'll be sure to try one of those times.

I stopped in with high hopes and left with mixed feelings. On the plus side, their margaritas are on point--both the spicy and the strawberry versions hit the right balance of sweet, tart, and tequila kick. For food, the al pastor, tinga, and carne asada street tacos were the clear winners. Each had plenty of spice, which made them fiery but downright delicious. Where things slipped was the overall experience. Service was fine but nothing memorable, and the atmosphere felt a bit rushed for the prices they charge (With cars rushing by in the street). Nothing was bad, it just didn't quite reach that "must-return" level. Bottom line: Great margaritas and boldly seasoned tacos make it worth a try, but a few rough edges keep it at a solid three stars.

I really wanted to love this place but it was just okay. I'm originally from Texas so Mexican food is a passion of mine and when I found out this place was closer to my house than our normal Mexican spot, I was really excited to try it out! We went on a Friday evening after work around 5:30pm. Parking was a bit of a pain. The restaurant is located next to a strip of businesses that all share a small parking lot so if you don't get there early, you will have a hard time finding a spot. We ordered the horchata and la Fresca margarita. Both were delicious but the horchata was a bit sweeter than I would have liked. For appetizer we ordered the chips and salsa and the chile con queso. The salsa was okay but the queso was almost inedible. It was a weird texture and was bland. Would not order again. For dinner we had the compadres burrito and the chicken fajitas. The burrito was huge! Enough for two meals easily. It was filled with tasty, flavorful barbacoa and carnitas, cheese, and rice and I enjoyed it. My husband said the fajitas were decent but not the best he's ever had. Overall, not a bad experience but we probably won't be back. We are picky with Mexican food so we may be a bit biased- definitely try it out for yourself. The place was really cute, had a nice vibe, and service was excellent.

Popped in to have drinks and sat at the bar. Tried the sangria and fell in love, so much so I had 4. Order chips and chorizo, was sadly disappointed so I ordered steak nachos and those were infinitely better. But unfortunately this place is too loud and crowded for me. You had to talk very loud to have a conversation or get really close to hear. The bar service was great, very friendly. I would love to go at a time when less crowded to try more of menu. So we will go back

So my friend and I decided to stop by for a random Taco Tuesday outing and just happen to come across this place while sitting at a ted light . The spot is located off to the side , definitely might miss it, if unfamiliar with the area . Parking is tight but convenient . The establishment is very small (intimate ), yet has a certain vibe to it. Definitely recommend stopping by for happy hour if your in the need to just kick back and relax . Outdoor seating is available which a plus . Let's get into the food . I order the steak quesadilla and it did not disappointed . The strawberry margarita the bartender made hit in the right places . My friend ordered steak tacos which he said was just okay . But overall we would come back . The price was affordable and the service was good .

    Carnitas Taco, guacamole and chips

Today I had the steak quesadilla- it was very tasty, but I was disappointed at how greasy it was. How greasy was it? Well, there was a puddle of grease on the plate when it was served and it was hard to eat neatly because the layers slipped and contents fell out. Service, as always, was good. I love the outside patio seating option, it is a draw for me, even though it is right next to the Piney Orchard 'raceway'. And yes, I still miss the complimentary chips and salsa offered by the predecessor pachanga ( and what other similar restaurants in the area provide ) Value for money is good compared to other establishments.

Food and service so good you'll forget you're in a mall parking lot!…read more We were out running errands and decided to grab a bite. Unfamiliar with the area, I jumped on yelp and found The Farmhouse with its 4.4 star rating. So there we went. The Waugh Chapel area is a giant shopping center. Wegmans, Old Navy, Verizon, etc. The Farmhouse is in a new building near the man road. Their whole thing is farm to fork, with some herbs and greens grown on site and others sourced locally. The service is great! Fast and friendly. Instead of bread or rolls, they warm you up with some country style homemade cornbread. Freshly baked, cast iron skillet, with butter and syrup. Yum! We had the meatloaf and the chicken and chicken and biscuits. The meatloaf was tasty, with homemade mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked fresh green beans. The chicken and biscuits is kind of like a chicken pot pie without the crust. The biscuits are on top so you can decide how much bread you want. The vegetables are nice and fresh, and the chicken is perfect white meat. A++ on both entrees. For dessert we had half-baked, which is an ooey gooey cookie and a brownie in a cast iron skillet topped with ice cream. We liked it, but next time I'll probably have just ice cream because the ice cream was absolutely perfect. Where are you? Stevensville? Baltimore? Solomon's? Alexandria? DC? You should make the drive to Waugh Chapel Station and get some fresh, delicious, better- than-home-cooked food.

When we arrived, our table appeared to be ready right at our reservation time, but we still had to wait to be seated. It wasn't a long delay, but it was a bit confusing and felt like a service issue. The ambience is beautiful and well done, and the bathrooms were clean. The food itself was solid across the board, and the chicken and biscuit was actually even better the next day as leftovers. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest drawback. Refills only happened when we asked, and splitting checks for a large group was more difficult than expected. At one point when a correction was needed, a member of our party noticed the server visibly rolling her eyes, which didn't help the experience. Drinks are also served by the can rather than fountain style, which made them feel overpriced without refills. For a place that presents as upscale, the experience shouldn't feel nickel-and-dimed. Overall, nice atmosphere and good food, but the service needs improvement before I'd consider returning.

I had…read moremy reservations about this restaurant for a number of reasons, which a lot of things were dispelled as it had been mostly a good experience. They were doing a great job on service, cordial, answered questions, & food was solid. It was when the bill came. I was going to tip 20% for his good service, but I was pissed when there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill for just two of us. That was so obnoxious. That's the crap they'd do in DC with their Initiative 82 nonsense. Or it is common practice for a large enough party to do forced 18% or whatever gratuity, which still is annoying. 90% of the time I'm tipping at least 18%, but what about the other 10% where the service sucks, slow, &/or surly?! They are subsidizing lousy servers with that guaranteed 18%. This place opened maybe last summer or so, and it was kind of a nice addition to Corridor Marketplace. I wasn't terribly interested in spicy Caribbean food, granted not all spicy. It's a Caribbean-Italian fusion. I checked the menu online not long after they opened and before deciding to finally give this local place in my neighborhood a try when they were nice enough to give 20% off. I determined the food is strange although they had some stuff that might be appealing but seemed overprice. $36 for lasagna seems steep to me, but it's oxtail lasagna so some fancy beef I suppose. Initially, I tried calling to make my reservation on Monday, but no one answered and then realized Monday is the day they are closed. I called 3 times on Tuesday afternoon, but no one answered, which was a bit of a negative. However, while on my 3rd call to them, I was on a walk, and I decided I'd try walking in since I wasn't all that far from Catherine's on my walk. The restaurant was dead as it was about 3:30 in the afternoon, and the server was nice getting my reservation in for an early dinner on Thursday as I had a meeting at 7 PM and also something enough I was ideally trying to do before that. My friend & fellow Russett resident arrived on time. We discussed the red ropes and carpeting outside, which I've always thought was too much. It blocks almost the entire sidewalk over there, which was one thing that turned me off to the restaurant originally. My older friend who walks with a cane made an interesting comment I didn't think of but agreed that it could be hazardous to someone with a cane, elderly, or handicap. Although I don't think the red rope/carpeting is necessary at all, perhaps they could consider pulling it back some. We were seated at a white table cloth seats. They have booth/table combinations, individual tables of varying sizes, and the bar area. Server promptly came over. The place is nicely decorated with good lighting, but was quite warm as the big windows brought in the hot sun even though it was only maybe 60 F outside, but I'm sure in the summer & when it's legitimately warm outside they have the AC cranking. I just water as I wanted to be clearheaded for the 7 PM meeting, but I heard from another neighbor there that the sangria drink was good & strong. My friend ordered a drink, but it never came for her, which she didn't care, but that was an error on their part. I asked the server several questions about his recommendations & various other aspects of the menu. I settled on what I had originally had leaned to when I had looked at the menu online and the Yelp reviews I saw. I got the rasta pasta with chicken. My friend got the oxtail lasagna. Although I'm not big on spicy foods in general, and the rasta pasta was pretty spicy, it still wasn't so ridiculously spicy that it detracted on the good taste. The portion size was bigger than I realized, which was a plus too. I could've pigged out and eaten the whole sucker, but I decided to not overeat and save half as a leftover. Based on some reviews/pics, I was thinking the rasta pasta wasn't going to be that big, and that it'd be one sitting. In 2024, my girlfriend & I had gone to an Italian restaurant, where the portion size was not much where I didn't have leftovers, which was annoying for the price there, and I had no 20% off or any sort of discount. I asked to try a bite of my friend's oxtail lasagna as I was curious to see what oxtail was all about. It was very good, but it's still not worth $36 although debatable with the 20% off about $29, I would've been satisfied with it. Further, it looked bigger than I was thinking. Water refill came in a timely enough manner, which always important. It had been overall a pleasant experience, and I was ready to give 4-stars, but as I said before the forced 18% gratuity was a big turnoff, which lowered it to 3-stars. Forced gratuity is a major turnoff. I might've considered coming back with the high full prices, but I won't come back with that forced gratuity nonsense.
